The Forgotten (Ezralora and GuardianAngel)

"We are assisting our companion here in hunting down demons. There is a village within the forest, not overly far away that is being threatened. The trees around the village are slowly withering and dying." Bane spoke after a moment in time, a hint of grief in his voice. Hearing this actually had a small shudder pass through Zyphine from where she was at before she was taking to the air. Time to go and see if she could find this village, and see the damage at that point in time. She seriously hoped that Fiarn would figure that she would want to go there and help the village, the forest, and the people that lived there. Not that Fiarn was left alone, nope Inigo was actually trotting up to the male as though he were his pet and was nudging his hand a bit, his mistresses bag dropping to the ground, but if anything it could have just been something that Fiarn had forgotten. Zyphine had shoved her dress into it before she had changed forms, so that was hidden away.

Fiarn was listening before he tilted his head to the side. "A village is under attack from them?" He asked before glancing over to the tiger and then the bag. It took a moment to get the idea before he nodded. "Ah thank you." He leaned down and went to pick up the bag and then back at Bane. "If it is not too forward, would you mind showing me where this village is. I believe i might be of some help with defending it or... or aiding in what needs to be done." He bowed his head before tapping the side of his mask with a light clunk of wood. "We have seen what demons can do and wish to... help in anyway we can." He could sense partially that Zyphine was heading further away.

Bane was looking towards the white tiger that came up for a moment in time before he was getting to his feet as well then spoke, "So assistance would be nice. Most of those that live in that village are people who cannot defend themselves. Elderly and children.... everybody else.... was slaughtered by the demons protecting their home." There was definitely a sad tone to his voice, and soon enough the other two were getting to their feet as well so that they could head to the village. Inigo was already streaking off through the woods, heading towards that of the village, and Zyphine, whom he felt had taken to her human form again

Zyphine had arrived at the village and was just perched on a tree, although there would be a look of horror across her features if she were in human form. Although she was taking to her human form after a bit, and using a bit of magic to fashion herself a dress, just a plain white dress. It covered her at that point in time, and that is all that mattered really. She rest her hand on the dying tree that was next to her, and was resting her head against it, as if she were listening to it.

Fiarn joined them as he got to his feet, glancing at the tiger as he seemed to be darting off into the tree line. He assumed he was heading towards his mistress. Running a hand through his midnight blue hair he turned to Bane and asked a question he had been wanting to know. "May i ask... what happens to spirits when they die? I know it can be hard to talk of such a thing... but where i am from. I use to be known to be able to help with such things." He was speaking in a rather normal tone of voice, as if the very nature of people dying meant little to him. He didn't mean to come across at that, it was just hard to express sadness to one of the few things he knows best.

Bane looked towards him for a brief moment in time before he shook his head and spoke, "Honestly I'm not quite sure." With that he continued on his trip towards the village once again, although it wasn't long before he was pausing at the edge of the treeline, probably because he had spotted the white tiger, and the woman that he was standing near. The woman was looking over towards them although she didn't say anything at all just drifted off away from the tree that she had been by. Inigo followed after Zyphine as she went from tree to tree, more than likely to see how they were all doing. All were dying but... she could fix that. She would fix that.

Fiarn came to a stop as well before he cleared his throat a little thinking it best to explain it quickly. "She is my companion, and she is also concerned about the state o fthis place. Both of us are willing to offer our aid to this place. Excuse me for a moment." He said as he darted after her, trying to keep up and get to her before he lost his sight of the goddess of nature.

Zyphine was looking over for a moment before she was just stopping when she sensed Fiarn. She tilted her head before she spoke, "It seems that they are friends. This forest.... is dying. It is unfortunate. If the forest dies then, the people aren't going to survive at all." With that she was turning around to face him fully before looking over his shoulders towards the other people that were there. With that she was speaking, "You do what you can to help them, I'm going to do what I can to safe the forest."

Fiarn would smile at her before looking over his shoulder. "Yes, they were out looking for demons so perhaps later they can provide some much needed information." He listened to her and could sense the urgency in her voice as she spoke, whilst he'd prefer to stay with someone he knew he bowed his head. "If you need me send Inigo." He told her before walking back to Bane, "She is going to try and aid the forest around the town. So you are stuck with me for now." He added, trying to sound light hearted about it, but failing miserably most likely.

Bane was looking over as Fiarn returned although he was just tilting his head at the mention of helping the forest. Honestly he wasn't sure how one could help a dying forest, but hey all the power to you if you could. With that he was giving a nod of his head before he spoke, "The people are always afraid of being attacked, which is why they don't dare to try and leave. And there are only four of us.... we wouldn't be able to defend everybody within the village." Already there were some people that were coming out of their homes to see who was there at the time. Elderly and children mostly, a few injured men and women here and there but mostly old and very young.

Fiarn glanced as the others came out seeing the amount of people that were here as he made a brief mental note. "I'm surprised you have not move if attacks are common among this area. Is it the same over the entirety of this place?" He asked as he glanced over at Bane, not sure if he was willing to share the information with an outside. Crouching down Fiarn peered at one of the children before waving his hand and gave a slight smile to them.

"We aren't sure. They don't often leave the forest, and the other few villages around here are untouched." Bane spoke after a moment in time. Although he was looking at the children that had decided to venture closer to them, although it wasn't long before the children were distracting by the animals that seemed to come up out of nowhere. Inigo trotted over and was nuzzling Fiarn's hand before he spoke "We found the source of corruption. A dead demon that was buried within the ground.... it taints the area around it. It has turned into a dark place, and the corruption most definitely radiates from there."

Fiarn glanced over at Inigo before taking in a deep breath as he heard the news though smiled at the children being somewhat happier. "Show me.." He muttered back to Inigo before rising to his feet, thinking how different a spirit of a dmeon could be to a normal creature. He had never been close to try it before. If he could help find it peace though then he was going to try. As he adjusted his robe he bowed to Bane and explained he would be back soon and waited to follow Inigo to wherever the source of this corruption would be.

"We'll come with you." Bane spoke after a moment in time as he was pushing off of the tree he was leaning against. Well he was going to follow after anyways, the other two were taking to going into the village to help out with what they could. Inigo was turning and trotting off towards where the dead demon was at, that and his mistress who was kneeling next to a rather large tree. The mother tree in a sense. She seemed to be hugging it at that point in time, her cheek resting against the bark. Eyes did flicker towards that of Inigo when he returned and the white tiger was circling around where the demon was at so that he could sit near where Zyphine was at. Well now that she knew that the key to saving the forest was curing the mother tree and taking care of that damn demon... things would be a lot better.

Fiarn nodded at Bane and didn't voice any objections to it as he came forward and saw the corpse of the demon there and the tree. He would ask about her hearing and feeling nature around her later. It was a strange sight to say the least. Kneeling down Fiarn took in a deep breath as he examined the body of the demon and then hesitantly flexed his fingers of his right hand and pressed it onto its body. As soon as his hand made contact with the flesh it would be like the night has descended around them, and a silver light poured out, escaping through the gaps of his fingers. The black holes that obscured his eyes suddenly glowed giving off the appearance as if his eyes were far bigger and brighter than they were meant to be. The god was still as he stayed there, and merely looked up to the sky. He might as well be a statue at this moment.

Zyphine looked over at the pair for a moment in time before she was tilting her head at the newcomer, fully studying him at that point in time. A wolf hybrid of some sort it seemed. She was looking over towards Fiarn but didn't pay him much mind at that point in time, nope let him do his thing....while she took care of things on her end. She trusted Inigo to keep them safe at that point in time, the tiger sitting near them quite vigil at that point in time, keeping an eye out for anything unusual around them.

In the forest there would be a slight movement from some of the corrupted trees as the energy from the corpse of the demon had mingled with their roots. The branches creaked and swayed as if ti were trying to break out or find something amongst the rest of the forest. Another tree began to do the same, it seemed as though they were beginning to react to the body being tampered with. Fiarn frowned as he turned his head his breathing increasing in the strain as he moved through trying to find where the remains of this things soul could be. If it had one.

Zyphine felt the shift which had her letting out a small breath and was closing her eyes, merging with the nature that was around her. Seeking out the corrupted trees to try and help them, to try and draw that corruption away. Honestly it was almost painful to hear the forest scream as if it were in pain, a noise that nobody else would really hear unless they were intune with the earth.

The trees reacted to her, and it sounded like a multitude of voices were beginning to seep out of them. "Help us, somebody, let us rest, we need to be released." It continued to build up over and over again, louder and louder as they called out silently to the world of their pain and torment. Yet soon an opening was given for Zyphine to start healing as Fiarn withdrew his hand, holding a little silver orb, like a soul. Nestling it in the palm of his hand he turned and blew it away before it started to head out into the sky.

Zyphine was actually a bit startled at the sudden voices, the pain and torment, it actually had tears forming in her eyes. But there was that opening thanks to Fiarn managing to withdraw whatever was tormenting them. It was going to take a bit of time to heal and help, but it was still something that she would be able to do. Inigo was looking over towards Fiarn for a moment in time before he was trotting over next to Zyphine, and sitting at her side, just resting his head against her back for a brief moment in time, as if to give comfort.
Bane just watched before he questioned, "What is going on here?"

Fiarn lowered his hand slowly before it was placed onto his lap. The soul of that thing was so twisted, he doubt it could ever find true peace, but at least he had hopefully aided it in moving on to a better place. If there even was one around here. Twitching his head he turned to see Bane, having forgotten he was here. Glancing over to Zyphine he asked Bane for a moment before walking to his ally. "What should we tell them?" He asked with a whisper to her. Not sure or feeling comfortable if he told them what they truly were, and even if they would believe it.

Zyphine was only half paying attention to what Fiarn had said at that point in time, barely looking away from whatever she had been gazing at to look at the other god that came over. A mix of grief and pain was evident on her features, although it wasn't her own which was probably a good thing. "I.... Do not know. I wish not to lie but at the same time.... we don't know them. We don't know if they can be trusted." Zyphine spoke in a soft voice before she was drawing her hands away from the tree just looking up and watching as it slowly began to bloom once again.

Fiarn looked towards the tree before running a hand through his mane of midnight blue hair, a few strands twitching a little in the light breeze. "We fixed the forest, and managed to barely get rid of what had been plaguing it. It will take time for it to recover but... it should do so to say the least." He said to Bane as he tried to think of an excuse, and was beginning to settle on them being from a far away land, which was not entirely lying.

Bane just looked over for a moment in time although he was blinking a bit as he watched the tree seemed to bloom again, and was listening to what the male had to say. This had him shaking his head a bit before he was questioning, "Who are you people?"

Fiarn tensed for a moment as he tried to think of the answer and just decided to go with what he had thought of. "We are people from a far away land who have come to stop the demons once and for all. We know of them, and the potential danger but that is all i can say for now." He told Bane before bowing his head. "We do mean to help as many as we can."

Bane was giving a slow nod of his head although it wasn't long before he felt a hand on his head as an elderly woman seemed to come up out of nowhere. The village chief had come over to see what was going on it seemed, there were a couple of children following after her as well it seemed. "We thank you for your aid strangers." the woman spoke although there was a slight look on her features like she knew the truth. She had a more impressed look if anything, yet she didn't say anything at all. Zyphine looked over for a moment in time before she was pushing away from the mother tree and was wrapping her arms around Inigo's neck, more or less leaning against him. Nope not because she was exhausted or anything, more because she wanted to.... and she wanted some comfort from feeling that pain.
