So in the beginning, gosh can't believe i started it like that. There was a world that was left fairly inhabitable. That was until primordial beings took an interest in it, and created life. It was then however, that they realised something about the planet, that it was a thin veil between the physical and spiritual world. Due to these creatures were attracted to the positive emotions emitted.

The Pantheon of primordial beings not pleased about this worked hard to fight back the tide of on coming demons and other dark forces. That was until they realised that there was a hand looming over the demons, controlling them and directing them towards this single planet. So the gods, had enough. They created seals over the veil to prevent anything from getting in from the Spirit Realm. Which worked for a time, until they found a weaker point and started to attack that.

The Primordial beings, once again clashed with these dark apparitions, and pushed them back. However, upon looking at the world they had created, the life that had started. They realised that the battle had nearly destroyed everything that they had made. The beings, not wanting to have their creations destroyed again set about a final attempt to keep these forces at bay.

They created a celestial realm where each god would create their own realm to be in, and act as a lock on a door of the veil, but there was one other step. They sent two of their own into the Spirit Realm to confront and try to cease the demons attacks, and end them. Promising that they would be worshipped by the new life created, and would not be forgotten on their mission. But time travels differently in the spirit realm. Centuries passed, and the current gods of the world did not uphold their promise, leaving the two sent there named only as The Forgotten, the only ones knowing who they are, are themselves.

The Forgotten still pursue in the spirit realm and realised that there was more than demons beneath there. Fey creatures, a different kind of magic, monsters, and strange beings dwelled lived and walked along the astral world. Will they be able to stop the demons before the next grand attack, and what will they learn in this foreign land?

Going through the veil was something he would have never seen himself doing as he travelled. It was a long tunnel of light with goodness knows what at the other end of it. It felt as though his body was being twisted and warped, stretched and crushed as he moved through it. 'What will be on the other end...' He thought to himself before he came to a sudden stop. It was black, he couldn't see a thing. He then realised his eyes were closed and slowly opened them. 'Wait...' He looked down at himself, seeing that he was not how he was on the other side. He was physical, tangible. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, he had been sent here with another to deal with.. yes the threat that was threatening the living beings in the physical world.

Fiarn gazed around the sight, the land was strange, like it shouldn't be. Spirits, and creatures flew in the sky that looked like the one in the real world, except for the two suns blazing down over the landscape. Everything seemed twisted, into something that shouldn't be, trees were taller than they should be, grass swayed freely hiding strange creatures that fluttered around, tending to them, with small wings on their backs. In all the land, the god thought that these creatures would come from. This wasn't it... it looked too nice and peaceful.

Fiarn moved over slowly, through the grass his flowing red robe, trailing in the grass. His robe was made up of a top with baggy sleeves, exposing his bandaged hands and forearms, and the bottom part allowed just touched the ground. He came to a stop to peer into the stream breaking the ground, widening his eyes at his appearance and how it changed. His eyes were a glowing silver colour, and his hair, long and bushy stretching down his back, sticking out everywhere was a midnight blue in colour. His ears, pointed at the end, and a faint stubble over his ashen skinned face. Which was more pale grey than white. Looking down at his hands, he saw that they had sharp black nails at the ends of them. He had been, no was the God of the Night, Moon, Death and Rebirth in the physical plain... Was this an appearance he chose subconsciously or bestowed upon him by something greater? Shaking his head at the questions coming into his head, he turned back to where he had appeared, wondering where the other one was, and who else had been nominated to go with him. His ears twitching at the flowing sounds of the water behind him, and the creatures in the tall grass.

The Gods had long founded a place that they wishes to turn into something new, created life on this new planet. But it was soon discovered that there was a thin veil between this new world of theirs, and the spirit world. A rather dangerous thing considering demons were slipping through and wrecking havoc on their new world. Many battles were fought with these demons, and in the end all of the Gods decided that they needed to try something else, sending their own into the spirit realm to deal with the demons from within. Stop them from getting through the veil and attacking those within the living world.

It was strange to be physical but at the same time, this wasn't something that she was unuse to. Even being in the physical world, it wasn't uncommon for the young Goddess of Nature to take to a physical form. It made it easier to help the creatures that needed her help. Granted most of the time it seemed like she was more concerned with that of the animals than the humans, but ultimately that is what she protected. Those were her children, and even then the humans needed animals to survive as well. Even then... this spirit realm was most definitely strange, yet at the same time almost refreshing. Different from the worlds that she had once lived in. The creatures were all unique, and something that one had never seen before.

Zyphine just gazed around for a moment in time as she sat on the back of her companion, an endangered white tiger. The creature was always at her side, and she was always at his. He was her best friend, her son in a way. When he had been just a cub, poachers had tried to sell him in a black market, but Zyphine couldn't allowed that. So she had ended up stepping in and rescuing him, since then they had been together.
"I sense another God here." the tiger spoke, his voice drifting through the mind of Zyphine as she worked on getting her clothing back on, as she had decided to take a swim earlier. Her leaf green colored hair seemed to flow gently around her shoulders as she pulled her white gown on, and was walking over towards her companion, barefoot. With every step she took flowers seemed to grow where she stepped, but would vanish as soon as her foot left where it had been.
"Let us go then. Lets us find out who it is." she cooed before she was hopping onto the tiger's back and he was taking off through the forest. The woman sat on his back, hands raised as if she were on a ride. No at that point she was enjoying the breeze, and listening to all of the plants and animals that were around her. Everything was so peaceful at that point in time.

Fiarn lifted his head, his hair falling over one of his silver eyes as he peered around, sensing something coming towards him at great pace. He hadn't notice it himself, that the plants around him were slowly losing their colour and being carried away in the wind as they decayed to nothing. He had never taken a physical form for so long, and been in direct contact with ground for so long to notice it himself. Frowning he began to walk through the grass, before seeing someone approaching what seemed to be a large beast.

Realising that the source of power was coming from it, no. On it. He tilted his head to the side studying it as the tiger approached him. Slowly he gave a smile, that he wasn't alone in this foreign place, and raised his hand to give a brief wave in greeting. He glanced to the side, feeling prying eyes staring at him, and the other. Remembering that they must be just as strange to this world, as they find this world to be.

Zyphine gazed around for a moment in time although it wasn't long before she could sense the other God's power more in detail, and soon she could spot him in the distance. Well the red clothing and the blue hair, it was kind of hard to miss at that point in time. She was giving a smile before waving in return, and soon enough her pet was coming to a stop next to Fiarn, and the woman just looked at him for a moment in time. Did she really know this god? Not overly well. They weren't strangers but they weren't the best of friends either. Acquaintances if anything. She at least knew his name and what he ruled over. Fiarn, the God of the Moon, Night, Death, and Rebirth. She also had the feeling of being watched as well, which had her sliding off the back of her tiger so that she could stand on the ground.
It wasn't long before the creature was prowling off to see what was all around them, and maybe find out what was watching them. "Inigo, be safe." Zyphine called after the tiger and he just paused for a moment look back, before he was bolting off into the forest. He would be fine, and if not she would definitely know.

The tiger as he searched would find a large amount of small humanoid like creatures hiding in the long grass and staring at the two beings, before scurrying away upon being spotted. The tiger would also come across a Salamander, a fire spirt sleeping in the grass, small bits of flame seeping off the ends of its nose. Yet Inigo would begin to feel a prickling on the back of his neck, as the Salamander, went from a bright orange colour, his scales turning black with a cracks in between them, and the grass around him, turning purple and writhing around as if in pain.

Fiarn looked over Zyphine before bowing his head, opening his mouth and surprised a little to speak. "H-hello." He greeted before her over, once. Zyphine, he had seen her, of course he had there were a large number of animals that came when the moon shone in the air. But other than that, he knew nothing of her. "I... have to say i did not expect such a pairing." He admitted and gave a partial smile, but it seemed hollow and devoid of feeling behind it.

Zyphine looked over for a moment in time before she was giving a small smile before she spoke, "Hello to you as well." Well this was definitely an interesting pairing although at the same time, it would hopefully work out in the end. She was sure that the others had discussed stuff over thoroughly about who to pair up with who. Or more like what element, or attribute, to pair up with what. Her attention went towards the forest once again and she was heading off towards it swiftly. No she could feel the grass almost seem to cry out in pain. Fire. But she wasn't sure from what. And Inigo wasn't answering her, no the tiger was too busy staring at the Salamander. Fire and Earth were two elements that didn't mix that was for sure. Sometimes Earth was very effective against Fire, dirt and soil even rock, but there there was more that could be destroyed by it.
Zyphine jogged up although kept her distance just studying the Salamander after a moment in time, Inigo retreating to her side with a whine. "We mean no harm." Zyphine spoke in a soft voice and listened to Inigo mention something about the small humanoid creatures, which she could actually see popping out of hiding briefly to see what was going on. She was retreating backwards with her pet, not wanting to be anywhere near the flames. Fire wasn't something that she liked, at all.

Fiarn followed after her as she seemed to be rushing away, not exactly being able to keep up with her speed as he lagged behind but eventually caught up, seeing the Salamander on the ground and the grass around it. Something was off though, he looked up at the sky seeing dark clouds beginning to form over head. "Zyphine." He patted her shoulder, his hand cold to the touch before pointing upwards at the sky. It wasn't normal for clouds to roll in so quickly, and there was no thunder indicating a storm.
The Salamander, began to breath heavily before it's eyes snapped open as the rest of its scales turned black like soot. The muscles of the creature began to bulge painfully as it shifted and changed in form, the limps of stretching out and the claws curving into wicked razor like blades. The jaw beginning to unhinge and snap back in place with rows of pointed teeth. Spines forming on its back, and the presence it gave off changed, to sadly something more familiar. It felt like a demon had just appeared before them. Snapping its head in their direction, it's glowing red eye writhing in the socket, before it spewed out a stream of purple fire towards the two gods, and tiger, letting out a screech in the process, Zyphine most likely sensing the pain the spirit was under.

Zyphine was looking over towards Fiarn as he seemed to join them and soon enough attention was being turned towards the sky. Dark clouds seemed to roll in rather quickly and the poor Salamander seemed to be acting a whole lot more different than what it had been. No usually Salamanders weren't so hostile, especially if you didn't do anything to them. They could co-exist with everything else that was around them, for the most part anyways. The presence was definitely familiar, and she was taking a step away from it. Oh she could feel the pain from the Salamander. "Fiarn.... it is a demon." she spoke in a small voice after a moment in time. With that she was sending Inigo away from them, speaking a few soft commands. Ordering him to make sure that nothing else was around that could get hurt in the process.

Fiarn stared as the beast transformed before them, seemingly for no reason. But there had to be, there had to be. He was snapped out of his train of thought as he turned to Zyphine. "I.. see that." He replied, before widening his eyes as the Salamander turned to face the pair of them, and opened its wide mouth as laps of purple flame curled out of the corners of its mouth. "Have you ever fought one alone before?" He asked, her getting ready to dive aside, not fancying being burnt by one of those flames just yet. "Or have anything to combat it?" He asked, not being a God of war or smithing, he was lacking in the magical weapons and tools.

Okay there was one thing that the other gods hadn't really thought about, and that was the fact that neither of the gods that they had sent were even the battle hardy type, which was definitely going to make dealing with demons a whole lot more difficult. "Umm.... no.... Never." Zyphine spoke with a shake of her head before she was was giving a faint shake of her head at the question of having anything to combat it. Nope not on her anyways. "Nope but lets lead it away from here. There is a quarry not far from here. We won't have to hurry about it setting anything on fire." Zyphine spoke after a moment in time, although it wasn't long before Inigo seemed to come out of nowhere and was tackling the Salamander to the ground.

Fiarn nodded and was taking a step to go and follow her before he turned to look over his shoulder, seeing the tiger attacking the beast. Watching as the Salamander heaved onto the ground, but writhed before snapping one of its clawed feet at the tiger to rake it along its chest, and spitting fumes of flame in anger. If it managed to rake the tiger, it would go to heave itself onto its feet again and whip around to glare at its assailant. Fiarn glanced over at Zyphine, feeling the urge to help, the need help as he stood there. His legs like rocks, he wanted to will himself to move forward to look. That was until he felt something brushing against his leg on the inside of his robe, reaching in he pulled out a pouch. Stitched into the fabric of the pouch was the word, 'Boon.' In their primordial tongue, it seemed at least they didn't send the two of them empty handed.

Zyphine was looking back, and there were actually tears burning in her eyes when she felt the pain from her precious companion but he was telling them to run anyways, that he would be fine. The Goddess of Nature just watched the Salamander as it climbed to its feet although she was helpless at that point in time. This situation was definitely not going like she had thought, and she had to wonder why the hell they had decided to send gods that weren't battle oriented at all. Her eyes caught sight of Fiarn briefly and the pouch that he had pulled out. Oh yeah they had gotten a 'boon' from one of the other gods, although who knew what it was. Hers at the time was in the bag that was over by Inigo, and the tiger was going to be mad if she ventured closer at that point in time.

Fiarn seeing the worry on her face muttered a silent word before tearing open the pouch and take out, a thin but elegant sword that looked as though the metal beneath it was liquid, with the pattern it had formed. Clutching the sword, as if by instinct in his hand, he swept it along the side and an arc of wind shot out, sending the flames back towards the Salamander, and the wind itself causing the beat to stagger back. Giving Inigo an opening, as the demon stumbled on its feet from the flurry of wind, Fiarn looking just as surprised about the thing he had received as he stared down at the jade handle of the blade.

Zyphine was just as surprised at the arc of wind that seemed to come out of nowhere and was knocking the beast back which had Inigo lunging forward and attacking the demon once again with a roar. The only problem now was how they were going to take care of the demon itself. Hopefully without hurting the Salamander in the process. A vine was snaking around her bag and being dragged over to her, and she was grabbing it up, swinging it over her shoulders. No she wasn't sure if she had anything that would help at that point in time. But there would be something in the forest possibly. There were many ways to rid a being of a demon. One way was pure water, evidently demons hated that stuff for whatever reason.

Fiarn took in a deep breath as he held the sword, not sure how he could help the tiger as it was attacking. The Salamander toppled, a little from the attack of the cat before scurrying to the side, the ground ti touched twisting and morphing the longer it was around. It had claw marks form the tiger in its scales, and hissed and spit at its attackers. Before bulging up and looking like a balloon, much bigger and threatening than it did before. It whipped around as it tail swung through the air like a whip to attempt and smack the tiger in the face.

Fiarn glanced at Zyphine, keeping hold of the blade in his hand before looking back at the tiger and approaching carefully. Despite rarely having to wield a weapon, it felt natural in his grip as if it had been altered for his use. Whipping around he held the sword to the sky, as thunder rumbled in the clouds. "Zyphine any ideas?" He called over to her, as wind began to pick up blowing the grass, and causing the stream to slosh a little.

"I'm not sure." Zyphine spoke although her eyes were traveling towards that of the stream and she was listening to the animals that were farther upstream. The stream came from a spring, perhaps they could use that to their advantage. "Yes I do. The spring. We can use the spring upstream to help get rid of the demon essence." she spoke after a moment in time before vines were interweaving together in front of Inigo, preventing the tail from smacking him in the face. "Inigo. Come!" she called out and he was running over to them, and she was briefly examining his wounds before speaking, "We'll get this taken care of. Until then either retreat or we need to get moving." "I'm coming with you guys. Lead the way. Tell the other God to hop on." Inigo spoke which had Zyphine passing on the message, and commenting that it would be faster. Who would have figured that with that said she was actually shedding her dress and tossing it over Inigo's back before taking to a different form. An animal. A hawk to be exact, just fluttering in the air a few feet above them. As an nature goddess, she did have the ability to take the form of any animal she wished, although she had learned the hard way that if she was wearing something, her clothes tended to get ruined.

The Salamander began to struggle against the vine as it tugged its tail violently, snapping and black spit flying from its mouth as it began to tear at the cable like vines restricting it.

Fiarn lowered his sword, as the storm seemed to come in, and wondered why he of all of them would be willing to be separated with this. Turning he glanced at the tiger. "Ride it?" He asked, sounding surprised before eyeing the beast up, a little taken a back by it before doing so. Careful to keep himself under control. The last thing he wanted to was to accidentally end the life of a divine chosen. He watched her change forms and rose his eyebrows in amazement. He could only take on a few other forms that were at his disposal, but lacked the full knowledge to maintain them. "Where are we going?" He called over to her, wanting to at least know a bit of her plan, lightly gripping the fur of the tiger, ready for it to move off.

Inigo was looking towards his mistress for a moment in time before he was looking back over towards the male that was in his back. "We are going to the spring to purify the Salamander. Hold tight." the tiger spoke to him before he was taking off through the forest, knowing exactly where he was going. Was he worried about his Goddess? A bit considering she was going to be luring the Salamander that way, but at the same time he knew that she was going to be fine. After all even if she fell, the forest around her would protect her. It didn't seem to take him long to get to where they were going. The beginning of the stream, the spring that it floated from. The water was as clear as glass, seemingly untouched, and untainted.

Fiarn did as instructed, as his finger clenched on the fur tightly and looked over to the Salamander, as it snapped free of the vines and narrowed its gaze at the Goddess before following, its feet stamping into the ground as it barged after them, snarling and spitting. "I understand the plan." He said as he looked down at the white fur he was holding, they seemed to have a very strong bond between one another. He felt a little flutter at jealousy for the Goddess of nature. Once they got to the spring he moved off the tiger, stumbling slightly as he did so. "Okay..."
The Salamander, continued its blundering chase of the deity as it crashed through the trees, its sheer size moved the trunks of them to the side, snapping a few low hanging branches as he walked. The roar would certainly reach Inigo and Fiarn.

Inigo was giving a faint chuckle before he was laying down once they arrived at the spring, and allowed the male to climb off it he so decided to do that. Now it was just wanting for the damn Salamander to show up, although where he had them, they were more out of sight. And he was sure if anything the male could cloak their scent so that the Salamander didn't pick them up. Zyphine lead the creature through the forest although for the time being was fluttering above the spring before take to a human form once again, dropping down into the water and just wading there. No the demon had taken over the poor creature, there was no rational thought, just that want to kill. So there would be no hesitation in diving in the water to pursue the woman.
"Is it a bit chilly?" came the voice of Inigo, the tiger not even caring if the other god heard him at that point in time. This had her glancing over for a brief moment in time before she spoke, "A little, but not to bad. Thankfully there is nothing else in this water."

Fiarn stood there, looking between the pair confused for a moment. He had never really seen a god and creation work so well together, before there was the large crash as the salamnder barged through the trees. Looking over the area it picked up the scent it was looking for. Lifting its great head and sniffing the air. Afterwards its head snapped down and the beady eyes of the demon stared at Zyphine, as it roared and charged forward. The claws digging into the ground and spraying dirt up behind it. It was only at the last moment it began to come to a halt, sensing what was coming, it was too late and the creature splashed into the water. There was no grand roar of defeat, nor was there a flash of light. Like ink being washed off the hands the blackness of the creature began to seep into and around the water, before dispersing like a while mist. The disturbed surface of the water, coming to a still, apart from what the Goddess of Nature was doing.

Zyphine looked towards the creature as it came bursting through the trees and swam backwards a little bit, just to ensure that she wasn't in range of any claws, or anything like that. Well it was most definitely an anti-climatic defeat although it was defeated, that was all that really mattered. The goddess of nature waited for a brief moment before she was slowly swimming towards the Salamander so that she could assist it out of the water, speaking softly to it.

The Salamander splashed in the water, unable to swim as it feebly was about to drown until she got to it. The creature was breathing heavily and squirming in her grasp as it let out small snarls, and spews of orange fire came out of its nostrils. It appeared to have returned to normal, but along its sides were the injuries it had sustained from the tiger.

"I... that was a demon." Fiarn said as he walked forward, running a hand through his hair his eyes looking towards the murky black leaving the water. "I would say well done, but you... you did most of the work.." he crouched down offering to take the Salamander from her, before reclining his hand quickly, staring down. "Actually... best if you...take him out." He remembered back to the field how some of the plants began to die around him. The place they had found was good, they could use it for now as a resting spot, he hoped at least until they had an idea on where to go.

"Inigo." Zyphine spoke and the tiger was giving a nod before he seemed to turn and was running off, although left her stuff laying on the ground close by. She was looking towards Fiarn for a moment as he was commenting about the demon before she spoke, "I guess we have our work cut out for us." With that she was swimming over to the Salamander and gently moving it into her arms, her feet able to touch where she was at that point in time. "Calm down. We are only here to help you." the Nature Goddess spoke in a gentle voice as she waded closer to the shore, although it seemed like Fiarn had debated taking the Salamander from her, before deciding to retract that offer. That was fine, she was already holding him at the time. And there was no point in them both getting hurt if it did lash out.
It didn't take long for Inigo to return with what appeared to be a purple flower, which she was taking from him and gently pressing it against the wounds that the Salamander had. The tiger had a few others for his own wounds. "These particular purple flowers have healing properties." Zyphine explained after a brief moment in time.

"It is good that you know a little of this realm.." He muttered, as he sat down, crossing his legs as his silver eyes flicked from the three of them to the sky as the sun was beginning to set. He watched her as the Salamander began to calm down at her words and was soon still in her arms, breathing as softly as it could to not be a bother to her. The fire spirit closing its orange eyes as it sniffed the air a little. "It appears we do have a lot of work to do, but i feel as though we should try and find out more of this place before we go searching for... for them..." He took the sword in his hand before sliding it back into the pouch, the blade disappearing within the bag as if it had no bottom to it. Pulling the cord the pouch snapped shut. The salamander after a moment, felt the wounds beginning to close and shook its head before going to leap out of her arms and scuttle away into the tree line.
