Parallel (LunarWolf and Guardian)

Dominique just sighed before leaning against a tree, before sinking down to sit on the ground. Pointless to come out there it seemed at that point in time. She was looking up as the air seemed to pick up for a brief moment in time, a warning that an enemy approached. Oh that definitely wasn't a good thing at all, especially considering she really wasn't in the condition to get into a fight at that point in time. So she was pulling up her hood and fading into the shadows, taking to hiding from sight. Go figure some of her father's men, and they seemed to be looking for Jack at that point in time.

Jack was avoiding them rather well as he was currently a lizard sitting on a tree branch not far from where she was but in this small of a body, his aura was non-exsistant to anyone trying to sense him. Jack would have to take a larger form for someone to sense him

Dominique was just watching them although there was a small frown on her lips. Damn elites that hadn't been at the palace it seemed. But they had taken to discussing Aetherial as well. She was just watching them before letting out a small breath of air, and using the wind to push them into the crevice. "Just fucking die." she mumbled under her breath. Okay she really had to be careful with how much magic she was using, already the elements were acting as though to protect her when she did collapse.

the small lizard scuttled from tree to tree till it found where he had heard her voice from before scuttling down the tree to her shoulder

Dominique just watched them for a moment in time waiting to see if they climbed back out of the crevice or not, but it didn't seem like they were going to. A small sigh escaped her lips and she was sinking down to her knees once again just wrapping her arms around herself. This was about the time when the lizard seemed to be climbing down the tree and onto her shoulder. "Hehe. I figured that in the end.... you would come to me." Dominique spoke in a low voice.

with a look that told her to get up and move Jack scuttled off of her shoulder and on to the ground shifting into something she could ride so that they could get out of there

Dominique just looked up from under her hood for a brief moment in time before she was pushing herself to her feet and walking over to him.

once she was settled on his back Jack headed through the woods to the hidden cave he lived in. thankfully he had been able to get things like a bed and such to make it more comfortable

Dominique was just wrapping her arms around his neck so that she didn't fall off, and resting her head on her back. This damn exhaustion was going to be the death of her more so than anything else at that point in time. "You are an idiot for leaving....." she mumbled in a low voice although was pretty much fading into the world of unconsciousness after that. Yeah the exhaustion had finally kicked in, and who knew how long she would be out. Already he would be able to faintly feel the elements around her, while harmless to him since she trusted him, but deadly towards anybody else not a friend.

Jack walked into the cave and over to his bed where with a little skill he was depositing her before shifting back into his human form "so says the female who just vanished" just seeing her had Jack erect but he had more respect for her then to do something like that with out her permission

Not that Dominique had really meant to just disappear after taking down the damn creature that her father had ended up waking up. She had pushed herself far to far in using that dark magic and had ended up collapsing which had made it easy for her father's men to get her. Yet they quickly discovered that perhaps having her in the palace was a bad idea, especially when her magic had full activated after it realized that she was in mortal danger. Even now if one looked at the palace, the western wing was destroyed, and there was still residue of the black goo, or whatever it was, that had been created by her magic. At some point during the trip, her hood had blown down. If one took off the cloak they would see the strange black markings that covered her body now from using that dark magic. Not a bad thing, she had managed to gain control of it through pushing herself to the point of collapse.

"Don't blame our mistress. She didn't mean to intentionally disappear. The last attack months ago.... she collapsed and her father's men took her back to the palace. She shouldn't have left Aetherial, she should have remained there to rest. And recover. But she didn't. She came to find you." a shadow spoke as it seemed to form into that of a being, who was drifting over to where Dominique was laying before seeming to vanish once again.

Jack just shook his head he had closed himself off to all emotions as it was better that way from them both then him try and hope that she felt the same way he did

The night went by quickly enough, and when Jack finally woke up, he would find that Dominique wasn't in the cave. In fact she was down at the river, just standing in the icy cold water, her clothing laying on the shore. The cold didn't seem to bother her at that point in time, although if one did get close enough, they were actually see the faint signs of tears. Although it could have been water from when she had gone under water to get her hair wet. Now that her clothes were off, the black design was even more evident on her body, swirls that ran down her body.
"Mistress. We should get out of the water soon and return to Aetherial before your friends begin to worry." the shadowy figure that had appeared last night spoke from where it was sitting near her clothing. This had Dominique looking over for a moment before she spoke, "Friends.... such a strange concept still. But.... I suppose you are right. They are friends."

Jack stayed in the cave but stood at the mouth of it and just watched her from a distance figuring she would head home and leave him be.

Dominique didn't even seem to notice that he was standing there, not at first. At the time she was more lost in her thoughts before she was finally deciding to wade out of the water.

For the most part Dominique was okay at that point in time, using heat to dry herself off as she was grabbing her clothes to pull them back on. Not that she usually wore much anyways. Yeah she was aware that he was watching her, but it didn't really bother her at all. And she was doing her best to hide the fact that she was in a weakened state.

"you may as well come and eat to get your strength back up before you leave" Jack then turned and walked back in to the cave to the fire he had gotten going

Dominique was just looking over for a moment although she didn't really say much, just made her way up to the cave quietly. Although for a while things were quiet.... then things seemed to turn out badly. The ground seemed to shudder under them which sent them both onto the ground, which had Dominique swiftly using some magic to reinforce the cave as it started to collapse around them. Unfortunately it seemed like the entrance had been blocked off when the dust cleared up.

Jake looked at the cave entrance and then cursed thankfully;y there were gaps in the rocks so they could still get air and the smoke from the fire could escape "well this is just great"

Dominique looked up from where she was laying on the ground before she was pushing herself up so that she was sitting. She was brushing dust out of her hair and mumbling a small ouch under her breath. Seemed like when she had fallen, she had cut her arm on a rock, but that would be easy enough to take care of.

Dominique just watched for a moment in time before she was halting him from moving the rock he was going to move, otherwise everything would come tumbling down and they would end up getting hurt.
