In the world of Terraria, humans live amongst the supernaturals but they hide out of fear. Being discovered as a human resulted in living the life of slavery, especially in the kingdom of Blythe. This kingdom is ruled over by a terrible man that is only known to those around him as Apocalypse. He is a man who takes no prisoners, and cares not about those around him. Either you are loyal to him or you are killed. Humans that live within Blythe are either there as slaves to the many supernaturals that live there, or they are hiding amidst the shadows hoping that they didn't get caught. Being a human in Blythe, in general, was a very dangerous thing and would most likely lead to your death.

But far east of Blythe, lay a kingdom of light and peace. The kingdom of Aetherial. A kingdom were all were welcomed and encouraged to live in harmony. Humans and supernaturals lived together as equals, and anybody who attempted to try and seem more superior was actually cast out of Aetherial. At least this had been how it was when the old leader had still been alive. A man who was a no nonsense type of person, and just wanted to see everybody get along...even at the cost of tossing innocents out of the safety of the kingdom. After his death, the daughter of his top general ended up stepping up as queen, which had been a shock to everybody. Ariel is the name of the current queen of Aetherial, a very kind and gentle angel, who empathized with those that were slaves on a personal level. She had once been a slave to the man that called himself the leader of Blythe, but this had been a very long time ago. Still today she found herself easily frightened, but with her constant companion at her side, she found that she could more easily face her fears.

Ariel was a very difficult queen, especially compared to her father. She was a strict pacifist that had no blood on her hands whatsoever....except from those that she healed. Her healing ability was something that was rarely seen....due to the fact that one had to be pure of heart to even use it. Ariel possessed the ability of crystal magic, one of the most powerful healing magics in the world.

"Ariel. Come. We must get going. Today is when we meet with that vile man." came the familiar voice of her companion which had Ariel turning around, her white gown fluttering a bit in the breeze as she headed in from the balcony. Her long white hair was pulled up into a tight braid, and purple eyes were locked onto the other female that stood in the room. Rosalie, more commonly known as Rose, was one of her closest and most trusted companions. She was the daughter of Lucifer, who had dubbed himself as Ariel's godfather since she was technically the daughter of Michelangelo, not that Ariel really got to meet her father at all, not with having been taken from him a young age and then watching him get murdered the same day that she was named queen.

Ariel gave a nod before she spoke, "Yes let us be going then." With that she was drifting after Rose so that she could leave her rooms. Upon leaving the room she was greeted by a young man who looked exactly as she did, although in comparison to her pure white hair, he had hair as dark as night. "Stay safe sister dear." the male spoke as he wrapped his arms around that of Ariel and kissed her on the forehead. "Don't worry Andrew, I shall." she promised that of her twin brother then inclined her head in greeting to Lucifer as he walked up with his son, Lance. The males were giving the two females hugs and telling them to be safe before sending them off outside to the carriage that was awaiting them. Never would they take to flying, not after what had happened last time.

This meeting with Apocalypse had been planned for the last three months and neither young women were prepared for it whatsoever, but it was hard to be prepared for it. Rose already knew that it was going to more than likely end with the two of them running for their lives, or Rose having to kill some people. But that was a job that she would do with no problem. She had no qualms about killing, despite her rather innocent appearance. But despite the innocent appear the twenty-one year old red head was a force to be reckoned with. Especially if you put her scythe in hand, and allowed her to go all out. When it came to Rose and Lance.... it was definitely Rose that was the more deadly one. She was unpredictable and would use any means necessary to win.

Iris struggled and fought against the men who were dragging her back to the castle after catching her. Iris was known to be able to escape from just about anywhere. standing next to the king was the only human who didn't wear a collar and was the only general in the army who was human. this male was dead loyal to the king and not one person could change his mind on being loyal and there was only one other person who matched him in loyalty and that was the kings right hand man who Iris both feared and for some reason when she saw him her heart rate speed up and she felt short of breath. Iris didn't understand why she felt this way about him and she would have to find out what was going on with her heart and why she seemed to be drawn to him even though she was scared of him.

Damian looked at Iris as she was being dragged in to the room "my king what would you like for me to do with her now that she has been caught" Damian knew that her escaping had angered the king but thankfully it hadn't fallen on him but on another commanding officer who hadn't made sure that her cell was securely locked and secured so she couldn't get out

Apocalypse just looked towards Damian for a moment in time as his eyes flickered towards that of Iris, who was attempting to struggle against the men that were holding her. Honestly she had almost managed to get away from the guards that were holding her, although they were soon being shooed away by the blonde haired male that strode into the room, and took to holding onto her. "Sorry I'm late sir. I was making sure that her "chambers" were nice and clean. The chains have been double checked. She'll not be getting away as easily this time." the male spoke, after a moment in time. This just happened to be the right hand man of Apocalypse, the one who matched Damian in loyalty when it came to the cruel and vile man that stood before them. Strange that they were so dead loyal to Apocalypse, especially considering that one didn't really know what his race was in general.

"Actually. I want her chain next to my throne. We shall be having an important guest arriving within the next few hours. I want everything to be just perfect for her arrival." Apocalypse spoke after a moment in time, an almost devious grin forming on his lips. Alaric knew exactly who the man was talking about. The angel that had once been his servant many years ago but had been stolen away from him, and for a brief while Apocalypse had found himself locked away for a while. Now the man had decided to invite the young queen of Aetherial to Blythe so that they could discuss something. More than likely her surrendering her kingdom to him. Although Alaric was sure that that wasn't going to happen.

Iris froze a little when his hands came in contact with her bare skin but it wasn't look before she started to struggle once again. Iris had no intention of letting them chain her next to his throne to be on display like some trophy. Iris let her wings out and with several good flaps she was high off the ground as she shook and tried to break free of his grip.

Damian watched as this all happened and then let out a sigh "which chains would you like to use on her today sire" Damian would go and get them while Alaric dealt with getting down and forcing her down as well since he didn't know if she was going to land any time soon to let him let go of her

"If she keeps struggling.... I'm going to break her damn wings." Alaric spoke in his usual emotionless voice, his grip on the female not seeming to change at all. Her flapping wings didn't seem to phase him whatsoever. This was the benefits of being a demon from Purgatory, a completely separate section from that of even the demonic realm. He had no rules or laws that he had to listen to. "Get the golden chains. This way we know that she cannot escape from them." Apocalypse spoke before he was snapping his fingers and a new figure was seeming to appear out of nowhere. His eldest daughter, who was probably even more terrifying than that of Apocalypse himself. A cross between an angel and a vampire, with the ability to control all of the elements. A powerful foe that was for sure.

"You summoned, father?" the young woman questioned which had Apocalypse gesturing towards where Iris was at before he spoke, "Get her out of the air." This had a strange wind seem to wrap around Iris, and Alaric since he was right there, which resulted in Iris not being able to continue to flap her wings, and they were being lowered down to the floor. Dominique just stood there, watching with an emotionless expression on her features.

Truly Alaric had to feel sorry for the young woman. The abilities that she had, weren't something that she had been born with, well other than her ability to control the darkness. It had been something that had been forced on her at a young age, and her entire childhood had been spent training and honing those skills. A choice that she didn't have. For the longest while, Apocalypse treated his own daughter as a slave and a punching bag. And now.... while she was a fearsome warrior, she never seemed to display any emotion at all. Unless it was when her baby sister, Venus was around.

"Damian. When you are done assisting Father. I was suppose to inform you that Venus wants you to come and help her fix her teddy bear." Dominique spoke before she was giving a bow and seeming to vanish, the winds keeping the other female to the ground, and Alaric was readjusting his grip on her so that she couldn't slip out of his arms. Venus was only four years old, but the child knew far more than what most people thought. And she absolutely loved Damian and Alaric. It was amusing to see the complete attitude change that they had when she was around, the same with Apocalypse.

Damian nodded his head "I will be there when allowed" with that he headed off and grabbed the golden chains that would keep her form escaping and using her powers it wasn't long before he returned with the chains and helped Alaric get her moved over and chained down next to the king. Damian had to avoid several thrown punches to avoid getting hit and upsetting Venus when he did go and see her. Damian wondered why she didn't just have a maid fix her teddy bear but he would go and help her since she was asking nicely

It did take a bit but after a while Alaric and Damian managed to get Iris chained up. A simple chain around the ankle was all it was, but that was enough. That simple change would leave even Dominique powerless and unable to do anything, except sit there and wait to be released. It blocked all magic powers, and rendered you completely human. They were the worst chains that one could be imprisoned with. Apocalypse looked towards Damian before he spoke, "You mind as well go and see young Venus." Least she come looking for him, which had happened a number of times before. Although he was pretty sure that he was a bit too late with his words when the door opened and a small child ran into the throne room with a teddy bear in her arms.

"Speaking of..." Alaric spoke with a faint chuckle as he was shifting a bit so that the chains couldn't be seen around the ankle of Iris. If anything it would just look like she was sitting on the ground next to Apocalypse, which never seemed unusual. "Good morning, sweetheart." Alaric spoke in a cheerful voice, an actual smile on his lips. Ah yes this was the kind Alaric, an attitude that was only ever seen around that of the sweet child in the room.

"Daddy. Can I take Damian? He needs to fix my teddy bear. Pretty please." Venus spoke as she held up the teddy bear where it was obvious that the arm was falling off. Which had Apocalypse wondering how that had happened, but he didn't question it at that point in time. "Of course sweetheart. I don't have anything else that I need him to do." the man spoke. This was a side of the man that Iris would have never seen before, yet this would be the first time that she would have ever met the young child.

Damian looked at Venus and then raised an eyebrow at her "and how did his arm manga to become detached as it currently is" Damian walked over and scooped the child up in to his arms and looked down at the bear whom he had repaired on several occasions. so he found it kinda funny that he arm was falling off. Damian looked at the king and bowed slightly "I will be back after I fix the bear for her sire"

Apocalypse waved a hand before he spoke, "Enjoy the free time Damian. I will not require your assistance for a few hours." With that he was leaning back in his throne and just looked down towards Iris for a moment in time. Once he was sure that Venus was out of hearing range he was speaking, "Such an obedient pet. You all are. It is so wonderful. The only one I would truly worry about turning against me is my darling Dominique." "She is the only one you fear." Alaric pointed after a moment in time which had his sire giving a faint chuckle before he was commenting, "True."

Venus looked at Damian before she spoke, "One of the meanie guards tried to take him away from me! He tried to tell me that I wasn't suppose to have toys. That I was the child of a very bad person. So I had to be bad. But.... daddy isn't bad!" Oh man probably a good thing that she was saying this to Damian and her father hadn't heard her say this.

the minute Damian and Venus were out of site and after he had called her a pet Iris lashed out she had spent years honing her human strength so when she hit the male she knew he would feel it and it would cause some pain. if she didn't have the damn gold chain on her ankle she would have been able to hit a whole lot harder and cause him a whole lot more pain.

Damian looked at her "what did you do Venus?" Damian had a feeling he would be cleaning up a mess if the guard had fucked with Venus and since he had damaged her bear he had been asking for a whole lot of trouble.

Venus looked at him before she shook her head and spoke, "Venus didn't do anything. Big sister scolded the man and told him to be nice, especially after he slapped me. I haven't seen the meanie at all today though." Now that was a terrifying thought, but at least there wasn't a mess that had to be cleaned up. Dominique would have taken care of the clean up herself, after sending Venus away anyways. And the fact that the child hadn't seen the man at all recently wasn't also a scary thought.
The child just looked at Damian before she was scrabbling out of his arms and running over to the woman that walked down the hallway, and wrapped her arms around her. "Dommy!" Venus cooed happily as she hugged her elder sister, who was putting on that rare smile that was only ever seen by Venus. This had the elder female scooping Venus up before she spoke, "I cannot play with you right now. I have to get a few things done but you can play with Damian. Daddy says that you can keep Damian all night if you want." Venus gave a small pout but allowed herself to be handed back over to Damian.

Apocalypse wasn't at all phased by the female punching him at all, actually he was more focused on the guard that came running into the throne room to announce that the carriage escorting the other royal had been spotted headed towards the palace. This had the man giving a grin before he was shooing the guard off and summoning a couple of the maids there, ordering them to make sure that the food was done soon. "Also be sure that the food for our guest is placed separately. I would rather none of my people be drugged." he spoke.
"Are you sure this is wise to speak of this with the slave right here?" Alaric questioned after a moment which had his sire shrugging before he spoke, "She won't say anything. Not if she wants to keep her tongue."

Iris glared at him "asshole" she wasn't as obedient as he though but she would wait and make it known to the females guards not to eat the food. Iris wasn't stupid if she verbally told them it was drugged then she would get hurt but if she did it right he would never know. while Iris was plotting one of the maids walked over to the king and bowed before speaking "sire would you like for me to change the slaves clothes before your guests arrive she isn't dressed properly to be in your presence." all of the maids wore a low cut dress that barely covered their breasts and asses and they were also in a color that complimented their skin tone.

"Yes please do. Get her scrubbed clean while you are at it. Alaric please go with them. I would hate for one of my dear maids to get hurt because of the slave." Apocalypse spoke. Yes there was a huge difference between his servants, maids and butlers, and his slaves. His servants had voluntarily told him that they would work for him, and in exchange for working for him, he provided food, clothing, and a roof over their head. Not to mention they were paid rather handsomely. The man was reaching over and stroking the maid's cheek gently before he spoke, "You my love should come to my bedchambers later. I could use the company." Yes he knew she wasn't taken. How did he know this? All of his staff that weren't taken in some manner (dating, married, or engaged) wore a choker around their necks. They of course were allowed to pick the color and the design, but they had to wear it at all times. And if they did get into a relationship, they both had to come and speak to him. Sure he was cruel most of the time, but he did have a compassionate side to him. And he wouldn't try and make a taken woman cheat on her man. Now if she came to him wanting something, that was a different story.

the maid smiled and nodded her head "is there any particular way you would like her hair styled my lord and are you going to be using her this evening" the maid knew very well even if he asked her to join him that he may still take the female she was to be taking to get cleaned up so she wanted to make sure that the female was to the kings liking in looks. "and I would be more then happy to join you my lord"

"No I will not be using her this evening. Do whatever you wish to do with her hair. You have about an hour to get her ready. And Iris I suggest that you behave and do as you are told." Apocalypse warned the slave after a moment in time before he was shooing them off. Alaric was putting a collar around the neck of Iris and holding onto the chain tightly in his hand. The nice thing about the golden chain around her ankle was he could detach the chain itself from the cuff, and she could wear that like a "bracelet" almost.

the maid nodded her head "of course my lord we will be back intimate to get her settled" with that she lead the female off to be stripped down and scrubbed clean. when she was done with her the girl would look radiant and it would almost seem like she belonged there the only thing that would say otherwise would be the face that she would be chained to the ground next to the king

Within the hour Iris was back and she was being chained down next to the throne once again, a few moments after wards a guard was sweeping in and announcing that their visitors had arrived. This had Apocalypse almost grinning before he took the maid's chin and tilted her face up towards him gently before he spoke, "Thank you for your hard work. One last task and you may retire for the evening, at least until I call for you tonight, please find Damian and inform him that it is time for dinner."

"of course my lord" with that she headed off so that she could find Damian and let him know that if was time for dinner. she would have dinner with Venus to keep the young girl entertained and busy she had even made the little girl a companion for her teddy bear. after she told him she headed to get hers and the little girls dinner from the kitchen .

Damian walked in to the room just before the kings guests did and he moved to the kings left side where she stood when the three of them were in the same room.

Venus looked up as the maid came into the room and before she knew it, Damian was being spirited away from her. But that was fine for the time being, she would get over it. It was dinner time and her father had guests arriving, and Venus wasn't a huge fan of new people. So eating in her room with the maid was perfectly fine by her. Especially this particular maid. If anything this woman was more like a mother to her than anything else.

Apocalypse looked at Damian as he arrived to the throne room, and after he had taken his place the doors were opening and the two young woman were sweeping into the room. One of them had long white hair which was pulled into braid over her right shoulder, and wore a pale blue dress which fell down to the ground. Her purple eyes just took in the figures that were in the room but Apocalypse couldn't help but grin at the obvious panic and fear that was in her eyes. The other figure wasn't somebody that he was familiar with. Red hair that fell down to about the middle of her back, with the same strange red eyes. She wore a pair of black pants and a top that still left quite a bit of cleavage showing, not that she cared.

"Ah Ariel how good to see you again." Apocalypse cooed and walked forward although the other female was moving forward, placing herself between the two. "Keep your distance." was all the red head said in a dark voice, which actually had Apocalypse taking a slight step back. What the hell? Who the hell was this female that didn't seem intimidated by him at all. "I am Rosalia, personal guardian of Queen Ariel. We have come here at the request of the Lord of Blythe. Regardless of if you are him or not, kindly step back. You are in our personal bubble." Rose spoke after a moment in time.

Ariel just stood behind the red head, just holding onto her staff tightly as she watched. How she wanted to hide at that point in time but.... Rose was there. She was safe. If anything she knew that Rose would make the tactical decision to retreat if necessary.

Iris looked at the two and shifted her leg just enough to get one of their attention so she could silently tell them not to eat the food they were given. Iris couldn't risk flat out saying not to eat the food or he would cut out her tongue and she knew it. Iris hoped that the female would be able to figure out what she was telling them or if they had a way to mentally connect with her that would be even better .

it wasn't long before the maid returned and pushed in a food cart with a small hand sewn blue bunny rabbit sitting on it for her "looks like someone wanted to join us for dinner tonight du I don't thing he has a name"

Ariel had caught site of the chained female for a brief moment in time although there was already a sense of danger that had her moving more closely to Rose, whispering to her softly. This had Rose giving a nod before she spoke, "I understand. No need to worry." With that the red head was looking straight at Apocalypse before she spoke, "I love how you invite us here with the intent of talking of peace but... you have a slave out in the open, despite knowing that we do not keep slaves. We keep staff but they are never chained. And you have hidden guards waiting in the rafters in case your Plan B doesn't work." This actually had the man opening his mouth as if to say something but nothing came out. This reaction actually had Rose giving a smirk, and Ariel was putting a hand to her lips as if to hide a giggle.

Alaric just watched for a brief moment before he was glancing towards Damian, actually shocked that somebody, a female nonetheless, had dared to speak back to Apocalypse as they had. Typically one didn't dare speak back to him. And the scary part was as if the red head knew their sire's plan right off the bat. "Why does the name Rosalie seem familiar?" he questioned himself in a low voice.

Venus looked up at the maid for a moment before looking at the bunny that she had brought with as well. "Oh so cute!" the child cooed before she was scrabbling to her bed so that she could grab her teddy bear and bring him over to the table to join them for dinner as well.

"because she is the daughter of Lucifer" Iris looked at him and smiled lightly she had known who the female was right off having met her father before during one of her many escapes from the kingdom. they had met up right before she had been caught again and dragged back to the damn castle to be chained up like some pet that needed obedience training. Iris then looked back at the females and waited and watched to see what was going to happen while they were there she had a feeling that things were about to get very interesting especially if the male tried to do something stupid.

This had Alaric looking over for a brief moment in time, an almost mischievous smirk on his lips. Well this was going make things more interesting considering.... Apocalypse hated Lucifer with a passion. "My lord. It seems that young Rosalie..... is the daughter of Lucifer." Alaric spoke which had Apocalypse looking over. Ah there was that familiar look of murderous rage in their sire's eyes. Yes this was definitely going to make for an interesting night.

Rose was swiftly grabbing Ariel's wrist gently and drawing her backwards away from the man, keeping the white haired angel behind her the entire time. "Rose...." Ariel spoke in a soft but fearful voice. "Stay close." was all Rose said at that point in time before she added, "If push comes to shove. Run. I mean it. And yes if I get caught I will be sure to rescue the slaves. That is something I always do." Already she could see some of the other guards approaching and she saw Apocalypse withdrawing his weapon, which gave her full permission to call forth hers. She spoke a few soft words and the charm on her necklace seemed to break off and was floating towards her hand, before forming into her weapon of choice. A scythe. The one thing that she usually wore, but was taking off and wrapping around Ariel was her father's cloak, only because it warded against attacks. Rose would rather her queen be safe.

while everyone was distracted by Rose Iris managed to get the key to the golden cuff and released it from around her ankle after moving away and in to perfect line with Ariel once she was certain her powers were all back and no longer blocked she shot off and slammed in to Ariel at full force her arms wrapping around her before she shot up in to the air and headed out of arrow reach and out of the range that his men could try and grabbed them. Iris hit the glass ceiling with so much force that they broke through it and then she landed on one of the blocks that made up the castle "can you fly?" Iris hoped that she could so that she could get out of there. while she was waiting for her to answer she took one of the charms off of her bracelet and attached it to her staff so that she would have protection once she left the area

Ariel had been staying close to Rose just watching everything that was happen, although so far it didn't seem like Apocalypse was going to strike unless Rose made the first move. The red head had gone to back up and lead Ariel out of the room, until the other female acted and there was a scream of fright from Ariel when the other female was slamming into her. Actually this had the cloak reacting in a defensive manner and the moment that Ariel was on her feet, shadows seemed to ripple around her from the cloak, not allowing Iris close to her whatsoever. The shadows even blocked her from putting the charm on the staff as Ariel was drawing away from the female, frightened.

"Ariel!" Rose screamed and found herself distracted by that action, which had Apocalypse deciding that he was going to make his own move again her. She just narrowly avoided getting slashed by the man's blade, and was quickly put on the defensive and retreating. "Aren't slaves so stupid, especially half breeds. They are so wreckless, and don't think anything through. Because thanks to her stupid move.... your queen is in even more danger." Apocalypse laughed. Yeah Iris taking flight.... had a group of the man's most deadly soldiers taking flight as well.

Dominique just watched from her balcony at the time then looked towards one of the guards that came up to her and asked her a question since at the time their lord was preoccupied. "The angel is to be unharmed. Father does not care what happens to the slave, as long as she is left alive. Venus. Little sister. It is your turn. Daddy needs your help sweetheart." the female spoke and looked towards her younger sister, who had joined her on the balcony. This had Venus giving a bright smile before a mix of air and lightning seemed to swirl around the palace, preventing anybody from leaving. After this was done Venus was giggling and speaking something softly, her eyes glowing before her ability activated. Her ability was power negation and it effected everybody within the area, except for her sister and specific people that had on a special charm that had been made by Apocalypse to prevent it from affecting them.

Apocalypse felt the magic kick in and was watching Alaric shoot off and before Iris would realize what was happening, she was being pinned down by the male. "Bad bitch." he hissed and was pressing a needle into her neck. While he did this, Apocalypse left a few of his men to deal with Rose while giving Damian the order to go and fetch Ariel.
