Walking into the hotel he noticed how close to him she was staying and how she kind of hid behind him when the person came to talk to them. He figured a lot of it was the clothing, she had just asked about it after all but he wasn't sure how she was at dealing with people she didn't know. She had lived among a group and probably knew all of them for a long time, plus their own meeting had been unusual enough that it had no bearing, was she shy around strangers? He smiled, it bore thinking about. Looking at the woman he smiled and slipped his arm around Embers shoulders, pulling her towards him, eyes glinting mischievously. "A suite will be just fine, we most certainly won't be needing separate beds tonight. My little puppy here does love to cuddle, isn't that right?" He was well aware the woman had heard her call him Daddy, and he found it endlessly amusing to see how she would react to this. "Oh, I assume you have hot water? We would love a nice hot shower, we have been talking about how great it would be after such a long drive."
He was pulling out his wallet with his other hand, opening it with a practised flip of the wrist and fishing out his credit card. It hadn't been an easy thing, he had to open a new account under a different identity and transfer some of his money there every decade or so but it let him stay current and at least he didn't need to carry cash with him these days. He handed the card over to the woman, ignoring the baffled and quite disapproving look she was giving him. "Of course you can have some money to buy some clothes sweetie, you know Daddy loves to spoil you. Take my card when we are done here and go nuts." He looked to the woman behind the counter again. "Can you also have a meal sent up? Whatever she desires, I'm not hungry myself." He took the card reader from her and entered his pin in full view of Ember, slowly, knowing she would catch on. When the transaction went through, he gestured to her as the woman handed the card back, almost reluctantly giving it to Ember instead. "O...okay you two, enjoy your stay. Ring down when you want to order your food young lady, our chefs are available 24/7." It seemed like something she copied word for word out of the customer service handbook but the way she was looking at them as he guided Ember towards the elevator certainly wasn't.
