Ghouls Dogma (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Nana picked at the bread of the second sandwich. “I’ve been cleaning it with the soap in the bathroom..” She said softly. She knew it was infected, the Ghoul had bitten deep into her leg, she needed more than soap and water.

She gave a small nod. “I think a first aid kit might be enough..” It was strange, she was feeling conflicting emotions, part of her wanting to speak more with him, and another part wanting nothing more than to go him.

He hadn’t secured the door with an outside lock? She stared after him even when the door closed, heart beating heavily in her chest as she got up and slowly moved to the door. She listened intently for any noises on the other side, trembling slightly as she stared at the handle, then reached out to open the door. Her hand hovered over the handle, unable to actually take it, then she simply locked the door, her nerves getting the better of her.

She sat on the edge of the bed, waiting patiently for him to return- what else was she supposed to do? She couldn’t leave, and had no entertainment.

She nodded, going through each one and picking out the things she would need. Her job at the CCG meant she was given training on basic emergency first aid in the event of a crisis, so she had some idea of what would need to be done. Again, she dissapeared into the bathroom for privacy, cleaning and bandaging her leg before coming back out.
“A-Ano.. Thank you, Motochika-san..” She said, bowing her head to him.

She nodded, standing there quietly before moving to sit back on the floor with her blanket, feeling a little relief from the pain in her leg.

Why was he being kind? His actions were confusing from what he said. “Thank you..” She took the pillow and laid out on the floor with it, back to him. Her face flushed as she laid on the ground, the pillow smelling like him, a strange smell of iron and leather.

“Yeah..” Why was he so kind, only to say such hurtful things right after? She didn’t understand; pulling the blanket up to her nose, she closed her eyes to get some sleep.

Yukimura had been holed up in his apartment for the last three days, the only person to stop by was his upperclassman from the acadamey, Katakura Kojurou. He brought Yukimura a dish of food to eat while he recovered and gave him his condolences. It was hard though, Yukimura barely had any memory of the attack after being struck down, yet somehow he managed to get two miles away from the crime scene and into his bed at home. The CCG investigated, but found nothing, but cleared him of any suspicions on killing his partner himself.

When Kojurou came to check on Yukimura again, he saw a vase of flowers and a card on the doorstep. He picked them up and brought them in for his subordinate.
"Sanada-san?" He called, "How are you feeling today?"

Yukimura had just finished taking a shower, and was in the process of bandaging his chest once more. “Katakura-senpai..!” He called from the back of the apartment. “I’ll be but one moment..!” Kojurou could hear footsteps as Yukimura came down the hall from the bathroom, towel still draped over his head as he hadn’t quite finished drying his hair yet.

Yukimura gave a confused look as he took the vase. He hardly had any spare time for personal matters, let alone a woman. “An admirer?” He echoed, opening the little card attached to the vase.

The little card said simply: "To my bloodstained Dove.❤" Who could have sent him that? He didn't really have the wherewithal to really notice if a woman was into him. Especially if he was out and about.

Yukimura often talked with a lot of civilians on the job, asking people if they’d seen any strange activity or even following up on closed cases. He blushed at the thought of forgetting someone who obviously found him so important, but the comment was a little strange. “It doesn’t have a name signed..” He noted aloud, turning the card over only to see a blank back as well.

"Odd. Maybe she wishes to admire from afar fir now. How's your wound? The stitches were rather crude but seemed effective." Kojurou said.
