Mornië utúlië (1x1 w/ Jikkah)

“Ah, gomen... It’s not that I’m upset with you, I only wish you didn’t have to kill, and that you don’t have to be killed either, it makes me sad.” She said with a sad smile.

She shook her head. “I’m not getting mad at you, it’s just frustrating, the way the world is. Sometimes I feel like it doesn’t have to be this way, and nobody likes it, but at the same time, no ones actually trying to change it.” She shook her head again. “Sorry, I’m rambling- would you like more fish?” Already she had completely devoured her fish, like she had simply vacuumed it in.

“Thank you..!” She said, handing him another fish, a little embarrassed. “My mother taught me.”

“Thank you.” She said and bit into her second fish as well. She let her mind wander; what was she going to do about clothes for him? Right now he was only wearing her cloak and using his pelt as an additional cover, but that wouldn’t last forever. Did she have the fabric to make him clothes? Should she just go into town to buy some?

"Thank you for allowing me to be in your home and share your food." He said, "I am rather grateful. Most people would have stolen my pelt by now."

She held her hands up and shook her head. “I could never do such a thing..! I’m glad to share my home and food with someone!”

Her own cheeks were flushed pink, and she looked down at her lap. “I’m grateful as well.” She said softly.

After they had eaten, Nana went digging through her fabrics to at least make Motochika some pants to wear until she could get him some other clothes. After taking some rough measurements, seeing as how he didn’t have anything but a cloak on, she went to work making his first pair of pants.

It took all morning and some, but Nana finished up his first pair of pants- nothing fancy, but they looked comfortable. She bit the thread to cut it and held them up to look at them better. “These should do for now, I’ll have to go into town later and get you some real clothes, but until then, these are just fine.” She said and held them out for him. “Go ahead, try them on.”

He nodded and took them before handing her cloak back and tugging on the pants. He felt odd wearing clothes, but it was something he had to get used to if he wanted to stay on land. "Arigatou, they fit wonderfully." He smiled.

Nana had to quickly avert her eyes when he suddenly stripped down and put on his trousers, but was glad the pants fit. “G-Good! I’m glad!” She nodded. “Oh, I should probably make you some shoes as well..!”

Nana lifted up the hem of her dress slightly to expose her feet, soft cloth shoes covering her feet. “They protect your feet, I wear mine with tabi and I weave grass together to make the sandal.” She said, taking off one shoe and holding it out to show him. “Men usually wear just the sandal part out here though.”

Nana blushed and shook her head. “No, no, I don’t think these would fit you at all, I’d have to make a pair for you that would... As to why they’re so small.. I-I guess my feet are just that small..?”

“No, no offense taken! My mother was a petite woman too, so it only makes sense I’m the same I guess.” She explained.
