Mornië utúlië (1x1 w/ Jikkah)

Nana didn’t take long getting a couple sheets of fabric, then returning to Motochika. “Alright, that’s all I need for now, ready?”

She nodded, moving down the road with him in silence. After a moment of walking, he felt something; a hand take his. Nana held his hand firmly but gently, blushing lightly. “Sorry... You just looked kinda freaked out.. My mom would hold my hand when I got scared too... It always made me feel better..”

His face lit up brightly and he looked at their hands before he gently squeezed hers, "Thank you...I do feel much better." He said and offered a gentle smile.

Nana couldn’t help but smile too. “Do you want to wear the cloak for a bit? I don’t want you getting sick either.”

“Are you not bothered to the cold?” She asked, keeping a firm hold on his hand; it was big and warm, nearly swallowing up her entire hand.

“Is it really that warm? It looks so thin.” She pointed out. “N-Not that I’m saying that’s a bad thing, I don’t mean to be insulting, I’m just curious!”

Nana was taken by surprise at his sudden question. “Huh?” She looked up at him, not noticing his hand hesitating over his pelt. “I-I think so? I mean, I try not to tell lies, and I haven’t stolen anything since I was a child..” She was so painfully sincere it was almost embarrassing.

He gave a slow nod before carefully handing his pelt to her. It was thick and soft but thankfully not to heavy; which was odd considering the length and thickness of the hide.

Nana blushed as she held the pelt, being gentle as if it were a living thing. “It’s soft..” She whispered without realizing, carefully hugging the warm fur to herself. She looked calm, tired almost as she held it close to herself; it smelled of the sea, and calmed her, making her want to curl up and sleep.

“You take really good care of it, I can tell.” She nodded, still smiling. “Thank you for letting me hold it.” She said, then actually offered it back. “You must be getting cold, here, you don’t want to catch your death.”

She nodded, enjoying the walk back with him.
The next few days that passed were slow, but enjoyable. Nana showed Motochika what she usually did - except for when she washed her undergarments, then she sent him off to do other things until she was done - harvesting the vegetables from her garden, going fishing, even just making trinkets out of woven grass. She showed him how to use a grass whistle, how to look for potatoes and roots, even how to prepare them to eat.

He was finding the life of a human rather enjoyable and pleasant; he would dorn his pelt when she needed help fishing - coming back with mouthfuls of fish for her before he would remove his pelt again.

Nana found it rather funny when he surfaced in the water with fish flapping against his face, nearly doubling over laughing.
In return for him showing her how he fished, she taught him how to use a fishing pole, teaching him all the little tricks there was to fishing; like when the best time to fish was- early in the morning, and where the best spots where.
She made him a few more garments to wear, and even finished a pair of sandals for him.
