“I’m not doubting your physical powers I just don’t see a reason to do such a thing..!” Her ears burned hot, heart pounding at the thought of resting against his wide, muscular back so casually.
“Well... Let’s see, besides doing the daily chores, we could go into the nearby town and look at what the market has to offer.” She said, thinking of what they could do.
The only thing she had left in terms of chores was laundry, and there was no way she was having him clean her clothes. “We can head into town for today!” She said and stood.
Nana took Motochika into town, where it was far more busy than the small village that skirted it. There were many stalls with food and other goods, almost too much to take in.
“There are, since there’s a city like this so close, a lot of the people from neighboring villages like mine come here for food and cloth for clothing.” She said, not minding the large crowd at all.
“Of course! Let me just buy some more fabric and we can leave, you can pick something out too if you’d like!” She said as they walked through the market to the booth that sold fabric.
