Amaya could feel the chains as they moved up her body, then sunk beneath her skin. She nearly collapsed forward at the pain, feeling as though the chains were wrapping around her bones and innards, tangling with one another and wrapping tightly around her heart. She couldn’t breathe, hunched forward as the smallest of noises escaped her lips, eyes wide with pain.
“She’s fighting the chains.” One mate reported to Mitsunari with a frown.
It was more likely that she was fighting the feeling of the chains rather than the binding itself, seeing as how he had made sure to thoroughly break her. Nonetheless, if she fought the chains too hard, she would but both him and herself at risk, even possibly leading to her death.
