“I can’t afford anywhere else to live... this is the only place that didn’t need immediate pay for lodging..” She said, keeping her gaze down.

She said nothing for a moment. “It’s ok, I’ll save up, and as soon as I have enough money, I’ll find work somewhere else..!”

She pursed her lips, not looking at him. “With no disrespect... I truly have no other option, and you’re only a client..”

"That's very true.." He said, "I'm not offended. If you like, I can keep visiting. Make sure you're doing ok. If I can offer a suggestion, Midorikawa always comes here slobbering drunk and passes out before anything happens, doesn't remember the night before."

He nodded, talking to her actually helped him settle his shaking nerves. "Would you mind making some tea and we can talk a little longer?"

She blinked and perked, nodding. “Y-Yes..!” She stood and moved to start making tea, a bit glad to not having to be servicing anyone.

He stayed for a couple hours longer, enjoying the tea she had made and the pleasant conversation. It was nice. He hadn't really talked to anyone in a while.

Days of visiting Sayuri would turn to weeks, the two only ever spending their time talking and sharing tea or snacks, only for Sasuke to still pay her fee and leave. It was nice, having a client for once that wasn’t there to violate her- he could see it starting to wear down on her. Her eyes were growing dull, and she was progressively talking less and less, her smile fading away as well.

She blinked out of her trance, looking away from the untouched tea she was holding, giving a small nod and a forced smile. “I’m fine, just a bit tired is all..!”

She was a little taken aback, looking down as a tear slipped down her cheek. “Six.” She said softly, not looking up at him anymore, shame clear in her eyes.

She frowned softly and looked up at Sasuke, a little confused. “I-I don’t understand... Where are you taking me?”

“And go where?” She didn’t move from her spot. “I have no where to go that I’ll be welcome..! Who would want me after this? What good is it all..!?”

He held out his hand to her, frowning under his high collar coat, "I would be honored to share your company, Sayuri...you're welcome to live with me, where you'll be safe..."

She cried more as she put her hand in his, standing up slowly with a nod. “Thank you.” She whispered. “Thank you..!”

((Sure!))

"You're fretting over nothing." Kojurou said as he used magic to care for his extravagant coats. Masamune made a noise.
"How can I not? She kinda hates me."
"She kind of doesn't." Kojurou remarked, "Just go to her."

Megohime had been hard at work trying to find anything that would work to remove the curse placed upon him, even trying multiple different rituals, but nothing was working and she was becoming increasingly withdrawn and upset, devoting all of her time to reading in his library.
