Once they were on the road, Terra wearing a black turtle neck long sleeved wool sweater and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans with a pair of her usual black boots, she looked at her daughter and smiled. Stroking Kyra's knee.
"You can't babe. You can't be everywhere at once. There really isn't any right way of healing. Just helping those you can and praying to the Goddess for those you can't. I asked Kytara if she's seen any of our friends that we lost in the wars and she did. They're happier now. No more pain, no suffering, just watching over their friends and loved ones. They hear the prayers...so take some comfort there."

People die in wars, it was inevitable. No way of getting around it. Terra knew that better than anyone, and yes. Some of those deaths hurt more than others but if you could save even one of those that could potentially be lost. It was better than not saving any at all. When they got to the restaurant, Terra looked at her pup.
"Still, Kytara always said that it did hurt not being able to save them all, but it did bring her some solace that she was able to save some compared to not saving any. I think that's what Healers hold onto. That they are able to save some instead of none at all. Even as a soldier, when we manage to rescue people from attacking enemies. Despite having killed so many, the fact that we were able to save some helps to ease the suffering of ending lives."

Kyra nodded, taking her mother's hand and squeezing it as Katerina got them a table, "My heart says yes, but I'm scared. What if I lose both of you?"

She hadn't told them the part about her fears in losing them. She knew her mother's would tell her all would be fine, especially Kat. But her other mother was a Hound. There was a chance.

"Mom is acting strong Mama but I saw her the other day when you went out on your first mission in years. I've never seen her so scared. She can't lose you. Neither can I."

Terra looked at her mate for a moment then at her daughter.
"It's a price that all Hound loved one's face baby. Whether you're a healer or not, there is a chance that I will not come home. Now it's going to take more than a drugged out Lycan to keep me from coming home to my two loved females, but war doesn't discriminate on who dies. I swore and oath to protect this pack and my family, and I will slaughter any wolf who is threatening you two. As will Bear, Peters, Stone and every other Lycan who has sworn themselves to the Hound title. I don't want to cause you or your mom to worry, but your mother knew she was mating a Hell Hound. These worries come with the territory."
She said as she held Kat's hand.

"Which is why we're trying to beef the numbers in the Hounds, to make it so that those of us who have been Hounds for a long time will have to do less front line and more special operations."
Which also meant that Terra's missions would be ten times more dangerous because they were behind enemy lines. Fewer missions but way more dangerous.

Kyra squeezed her moms hand, but now looked even more worried, “your not helping me stress any less mama.”

Kat walked up and playfully punched Terra’s arms, “this is supposed to be relaxing. Don’t stress our baby girl out. Cmon, our table is ready.”

As they followed the waitress Kyra asked, “Mom. Did you think about what you were signing up for when you mated Terra. That you might lose her to war?”

Kat paused them gave Terra a sad look, “No sweetie, I didn’t. I was in love with your mother and there was no war.”

“But you don’t regret it?”

They sat down at the table, “of course not. I love your mother endlessly. I’ll learn to cope.”

Her last statement sounded disingenuous. Her mother wasn’t coping with it. She was just keeping her head afloat. Kyra sighed and looked at her menu, still on the fence. She just wish she had the answer.

At least she didn’t have a mate like her mother did. Nope, no one to love. And I thought this year I’d find someone. Like that’s going to happen now.

Terra knew that Kat was barely holding on. In a way, she was like Kyra. Blind to just how horrible war was, she hadn't seen the bodies being taken home to be buried, she hadn't seen the carnage of a battlefield. Still, Terra loved her with every fiber in her being and IF Kat asked her. She'd seriously consider not joining her team on the front lines. It would eat away at her pride as a Hell Hound yes, but she'd try. Only Alex would be able to override that. If he needed her, Terra would be bound by her oath to go. Looking at her mate she smiled, as there was one thing that she hadn't told Kyra or Kat.

"But your mom won't have to worry too much. I told Alex that because I'm getting older, unless I'm absolutely needed, I'll be staying out of the fight. Right now the fighting is in the early stages so it'll be a lot of minor skirmishes. So I'll be staying home. The new teams of Hounds will be the one's getting their fangs bloody not me...or Bear and Peters. Sonya and her team offered to take our places since they don't have mates."
Looking to Kat she squeezed her mate's hand.
"From what I've heard, it's very seldom that Shade take mates. They're so devoted to their Queen and the Shade name that they give up the right to mate unless the Shade numbers are too low, then they'll mate, but it'll be in house mating among Shade's to keep the lines strong."

There was an audible sigh of relief at that news. Kyra looked to her mom and realized she didn’t want either of them in this war, but she was selfless enough to realize how needed they were and not discourage or press her own worries on her family. It must worry her a lot, but she hasn’t let us see that when we train. Mom knows the importance and the sacrifice she is commiting to.

They are both sacrificing a lot, and putting stuff on the line, she thought to herself, watching them kiss and her mom thank her mama softly for easing her worried soul a little, if mom and mama can risk it, why can’t I? They have more to hold on to then me.

She looked up, a little less confused over her choice now. She listened and heard about the Shade stepping in and frowned, “they might not mate much but I know they date and have families. Sonya is dating this girl. I saw them at the bar together. And Isabella the spirit I met today with Auntie Kytara, she’s Sonya’s niece. So they put stuff on the line too? If they die those people would be sad? Well...not that sad. Vampires can commune with the dead, like how we got Aunrie back. I guess death isn’t scary for them because of that. It’s just the next step after life.”

Terra looked at Kat for a moment and smiled as she shook her head.
"Sonya isn't dating anyone love. She's how I used to be. She's single and she's having fun with it. Sure she may have a female she prefers over another, but she's not committed to anyone. I know this because I met her lover. They're both Shade and Jynx is the female Sonya goes to when she feeds. For Vampires, feeding can be very sexual so they tend to enjoy one another. She had a sister who was Isabella's mother. Now that she's dead, she really doesn't have anyone. Her parents were killed in a war a long time ago. Also, Vampires can't just see dead loved ones. Only Selene has the power to create soul shards and Angel has mastered the ability to create wisps. Powers like that take centuries to master so very few actually get to see their deceased loved ones. The Queen had something special in mind for you, so you were given a shard."

Taking a sip of her water she looked back at her pup.
"From what Sonya told me, most vampires prefer to not see their dead loved ones as it just brings all the pain of loosing them back to the surface. A bitter sweet reunion so to speak, but enough about this. Let's eat. I have a feeling your mom is a little erked about me bringing up my...experimental ways back then."
She said as Terra was sure her mother remembered Sara and her gloating when they first met. Smiling apologetically she kissed Kat's hand.

Kat grumbled pretending to read something off her menu while she shot Terra a very firm word through their connection, mine!

She rubbed a heel up Terra’s leg and gave her a look but said nothing out loud. She was wearing a cute black dress that came down mid thigh and a pair of red heels. She loved to dress up, and she still looked amazing. Plus Kat adored making Terra drool. Amongst other things.

The waitress came up and placed a glass of wine in front of Katerina. She looked confused, “I didn’t order this.”

“It’s from the gentlemen at the bar,” the waitress looked uncomfortably at the other two and scurried.

Kat snorted at the glass, “bet you he thinks I’m in my twenties. Hoped for an easy lay. Oh well, free drink.Terra?”

She gripped her mates hand, making sure Terra wasn’t annoyed. Kat loved her protective flare - since the moment she had Kat hooked in she hadn’t let her so much as look at another, which was just fine for Kat, being smitten with Terra from day one...even if she hadn’t admitted it back then. But they were at a human restaurant in town. No one here could smell they were mated.

Kyra was giggling though, “Mom has an admirer.”

She glanced at her other mother than studied her menu while trying to diffuse her comment, “well you don’t have to worry about me. I’m not experimental like you, Mama, or Sonya.”

Her bed had been dry for over a year now. And she wasn’t going to tell her parents what she did as a teen. She didn’t need to give them a heart attack. And it had only been three times. She was, however, a little surprise at how much her mom knew about Sonya. It seemed Terra had gotten closer to the Shade then her daughter had noticed. It doesn’t change that she clearly dislikes me, Kyra thought to herself, she’s had more fun toying with my head and watching me suffer then anything. At least Selene is nice. And Angel...she’s been blunt but fair to me.

Terra was also confused by the glass of wine but when she heard it was from a male she whipped her head around and shot a deadly glare at the human who was smiling at Kat. Feeling her mate squeeze her hand kept her from marching over to that male and making him swallow that wine glass. Taking the wine glass she just lifted it and took a sip of it herself before setting it off to the side and never touching it again. Looking at her mate she kissed her neck softly and sighed.
"I hate humans some times. Remind me to get you a ring so humans know to back off."
She said as she kept her hand in Kat's. Hearing their daughter talk about not being as experimental Terra smirked. Well it wasn't a bad thing really. Especially in a time of war, you didn't know how much time you had left so fucking was a good way to have some pleasure in a time of chaos.

Still that was a thought she kept to herself. After they'd ordered their food and had talked about some lighter more humorous things, Terra paid for dinner and stood up with her mate, helping her out of the chair. As they walked by the bar she overheard the male who gave Kat the drink.
"Fucking Dyke's."
Terra whipped around instantly and locked her hand on the back of the man's head, slamming his face into the bar so hard that it bounced with a sickening crunch. Holding his cheek to the wood she growled in his ear.

"Mind your tongue before I cut it out of your skull. Now, do be a dear and apologize to my wife for using such a distasteful word."
The man blubbered out an apology and Terra released her hold on him before using his suit to wipe his blood from her fingers. She then took her mate and her daughter and just strolled out of the building without care. It wasn't till she was in the car that she showed how angry she really was.
"Fucking meat bag. Should be happy we were in public. I'd have fucking pulled his tongue out of his head for that."
She said as she tapped her boot on the floorboard and ran her hand idly on Kat's naked thigh. One thing that Kat had learned long ago was that anyone who dared speak ill of her or harmed her would meet a very bloody outcome at her hands. Like all Lycan mates, they were viciously protective of one another.

Kat didn’t mind Terra pushing the wine away. She hadn’t really wanted to drink tonight anyway and the way the guy had been watching until Terra glared at him was a sign she was safer not to. She smiled as Terra leaned and kissed her neck, giggling a bit.

“Get me a big one then baby,” she purred, “one of the flashy ones no can ignore.”

She kissed Terra greedily, rubbing her thigh now under the table. Kyra groaned and made a noise.

“Get a room,” she teased, grinning at her moms, “oooh they have mozzarella sticks!”

After they had eaten and started to leave, they had to pass the bar. Katerina hadn’t even given the guy a second look all night but as he passed they all heard the insult and Kat didn’t stop her mate from teaching him a lesson. Especially in front of Kyra. While Kat and Terra were not necessarily gay, and had both had a man or two in their lifetime, Kyra had made it clear to her parents she had only interest in women. And while the insult wasn’t directed at her, Kat wanted to make sure Kyra always knew there was nothing wrong with who she wanted to love.

He apologized and Kat just whisked Kyra away with Terra right behind her, getting them into the car.

“Dumb ass. You okay love? Kyra?”

Kyra nodded letting her mom drive as she sat in the back. She had so much to think about, that jerks insult was the last thing on her mind. Kat put the car in reverse and touched Terra’s hand on her thigh, understand. Terra didn’t let anyone go after her.

When they got home, Terra kissed her daughter and smiled as she told her to get some rest.
"Just relax love. Go hang out with Jayden. He seems to help you relax and gather your thoughts."
She said as she'd grown fond of the male and his ability to be a more level head for her daughter when she was feeling too confused or sad. After that, Terra lifted her mate in a Princess carry and smiled at her.
"I think you need some spoiling. Maybe a nice hot bath with some relaxant oils and a massage?"
She asked as she knew Kat would never complain about being spoiled.

Carrying her mate to their bedroom she set her down in the bedroom and went to the bathroom to heat up the water before getting the tub filled with hot water and Cherry Blossom oils to help moisten the skin and relax the muscles. Turning the water off she walked into the bedroom and slowly stripped Kat, kissing her body as she crouched down and removed her heels, running her hands up Kat's thighs and pulling her dress up and over her head. Setting it on the back of a chair she walked behind her mate, picking her up yet again when she was naked and kissing her lips as she carried her into the bathroom. Settling her in the water, Terra stripped herself and joined her mate, sitting in front of her and massaging her mate's feet while they bathed.

"Enjoying yourself love?"

Kyra smiled and nodded, saying goodnight to them but didn’t message Jayden right after. The sun was setting, but there was still enough light for her to go to the practising fields and pick up one of the practise swords lying on the ground. She went through the moves she had practised a million times, attacking invisible opponents, closing her eyes and feeling the wind and just relaxing. It was almost meditative. It helped clear her mind of everything cluttering it and help her see what she wanted. Everyone had given their thoughts. Now she had to choose. Her mind blanked, clearing thoughts of dinner, her family, Jayden, even Sonya who had been on her mind a little. She pushed everything out and focused on the pull of the blade.

~

Kat held onto her wife, wiggling her legs as she was carried upstairs. Of course she loved being pampered. But only by Terra.

Her mate was seductive of course, teasing her as she helped Kat out of her clothes and into the bath. As Terra got in she relaxed her feet on her loves lap, sighing as she started to massage them.

“Always with you baby,” she whispered, relaxing into the hot water.

While Sonya was practicing, Sonya was walking through the field with Angel, discussing some of the trainee's and who they thought stood out in a good way and who did not. They were also coming up with a test to run by Terra and the other Hounds to see what they thought of their ideas. It would push some pups to their mental limits in the realest of ways and give them a taste of fear and confusion that they weren't prepared for. For now, they felt safe in the training grounds. It was a controlled area. While they were talking, Sonya spotted an unlikely occupant in the training ring. Letting Angel walk on to speak with Bear about the training idea, Sonya sat down on a wooden bench and simply watched Kyra. Visually, her movements were flawless and rehearsed but as Sonya closed her eyes and let her ears and wind test her movements she realized where she was off and how.

They were small shifts in her feet, the way she was planted and the speed of her swings. Keeping her eyes closed she waited till Kyra was done then slowly opened her eyes.
"Did you figure out anything about yourself? Angel informed me you were curious about healing...yet you look like you're too confused and torn to decide."
Her tone wasn't showing any kind of emotion, it was just a simple question.

~
Terra smiled at her mate and leaned forward, kissing her lips before going back to massaging her feet.
"You used to paint your toe nails, but you've stopped over the last few months. Get bored with it?"
She asked as she was just keeping the conversation light. Once done with her mate's feet, she moved up to her calves.

Kat wiggled her toes, her eyes still closed, clearly enjoying this bath. She loved hot baths and massages. It had become one of her favourite things with Terra to unwind.

“I thought you didnt notice when I did so I stopped,” she commented softly, then opened an eye, “did you? I can start again?”

She always had manicured nails, never too long but cute and coloured. She went with a sharp round tip over a flat edge so she could enjoy raking her nails across Terra’s skin when they made love.

~

Kyra opened her eyes and rested her arm holding the sword. She looked at Sonya calmly, still in a clear state of mind.

“No. I think I have my answer now. The sword helps me meditate.”

She had no emotion in her voice either, mostly from feeling so calm. She turned to replace the sword, “I will be meeting with Angel in the morning. I enjoy the sword...but as a means of defence. Not for pain. My bow hunts for me...but that is more the circle of life than anything.”

She was speaking more calmly than Sonya had seen in her.

Terra smiled as she lifted her mates leg and kissed her knee.
"I notice every little detail about you babe. I know you like the cute accessories. If they make you happy or make you feel a little cuter than you already are, then go for it. I think you're beautiful regardless."
She said as she slid herself between her lover's thighs, lifting Kat into her lap as she turned and leaned her back where Kat had been leaning hers. Pulling Kat's chest to her own as she hugged her gentle and kissed along her neck.
"Just enjoy a few more minutes then we'll dry off and I'll massage the rest of your body."
She said as she stroked Kat's back softly.

~
Sonya smirked as she walked over and drew her own sword. Spinning it she was holding the handle out to her.
"You have been touched by Spirit energy. The shard isn't on you but its energy resides in your skin. If you want to be a healer like Angel, you're going to be experiencing things you never thought possible. Touch the handle. Take a breath before you do. You'll need it."
When Kyra would touch the handle, now that she had the spirit energy in her skin and had tapped into the spirit healing, she'd feel the thousands of lives that had been ended by the blade. Nothing painful, but it would take the air out of her lungs. Mentally, she'd see a barren field, no grass, no life. However she'd see the souls of thousands standing in front of her. Pulling the blade from her hand, Sonya sheathed her weapon and rest her hand on the handle.
"Every warrior carries a burden. The burden of the lives they've ended. Your mother, she carries one too. You need to find a spot in your mind that you can go to. Somewhere warm and comforting. It'll help keep you sane and it'll help fight the demon's that will come when you are unable to save a life. Trust me, it'll help you."

Watching the female for a moment she motioned to the sword.
"Your technique is too rehearsed. Your footing, your swing and the way the blade moves is off. Visually it's fine, but I control wind and your swing is disturbing the natural flow of the air around you. It'll slow you down as you tire. Your footing leaves you prone for ambush attacks and when your grounded, you're still too unsteady, you'd be easily taken down by a veteran fighter. Facing pups your technique is fine, facing seasoned warriors it's deadly...in a bad way."
Despite her criticizing, her tone was soft and warm, almost like how Terra would speak to her as her Mama, but Sonya's was more friendly now.

Katerina smiled, still wiggling her toes in the water, "I do like them...I like to keep myself well groomed for you baby. Guess I'll start painting them again. Likely your favorite color."
She opened her eyes and moved with Terra, resettling, "Mmm that sounds perfect baby."

~

Kyra looked to her then took a breath and touched it. And felt like someone had punched her so hard in the gut all the air left her lungs. She let go, her calm composure breaking as she coughed and gasped in air, staring at Sonya. She couldn't see much past that mask, so all she could glance at was her eyes, wondering what the hell that was. Sonya was quick to explain, as Kyra found her breath.

"That..." she shook her head, trying to rid that awful crawling feeling off her skin, "Thank you for warning me."

She got her air back and straightened, her practice sword still in hand, yet to be put away. Sonya motioned to it. She looked down at it, hearing the critiques, but they didn't come in a harsh, blunt, or mocking tone. It was said with an air of concern, her voice softer than perhaps Kyra had ever heard it. Looking back up to the Shade, she considered what was being said and found herself asking, "Could you show me?"

Did I just ask to spar?! With Sonya. Again?! She kicked my ass last time! What am I doing?!

After sitting in the water for a little longer, Terra drained the water and dried herself and her mate. Taking her to bed she laid her down on her stomach, using massaging lotion to slowly work her hands into the back of Kat's thighs and under her ass cheeks, straddling her calves as she did this.
"When you paint them again, be sure to show me."
She said as she smiled, kissing the small of Kat's back as she continued her massage as promised.

~

Sonya looked at Kyra for a moment then pulled her hood back and her mask down. Walking over to Kyra she took the female's hand and pressed her thumb nail into Kyra's thumb, cutting her skin a bit. Taking the droplet of blood from her thumb she licked the wound to heal it as well as taste her blood. Her icy blue eyes flashed as if someone had turned a light switch on and off behind her eyes to illuminate them for a split second then she opened her hand and a visible figure of wind formed in front of her hand. The wind began to take on a slightly more solid shape before it looked like a transparent version of Kyra.
"This is a wind clone. It has your abilities, your strength's and your weaknesses. Your worst enemy in any situation is yourself. Mastering yourself gives you a leg up on anyone you plan to face in the future."
Turning her attention to the clone she nodded.

"This is training. Hit to teach."
The clone nodded then turned its attention to Kyra, grabbing a practice sword as well and holding it in the same manner Kyra had. Standing the same way Kyra was. Like she was standing in front of a mirror.
"Once you beat yourself and see your errors. Then I'll spar with you. Mistakes that you make are much easier to see when you're looking at them."

"Oh right there," Kat melted, Terra working out a knot as she massaged her calves, "that's the spot. Mmm. I'll make sure your the first eyes on them baby."

~

Blinking in surprise, she took in the vampire's face as suddenly her hood and mask came down and they were truly face to face. As Sonya walked closer Kyra hesitated, not sure what she was doing as she grabbed her hand. Then she flinched, not expecting to be cut.

"Ow, what are you-" She cut off, eyes popping wide as Sonya licked her thumb clean. Something inside her shuddered alive, but quickly died out as Sonya's tongue left her skin and she straightened, showing her the meaning for cutting and licking off her blood. Still Kyra couldn't shake what just happened, but she could compartmentalize it for later. Now she needed to focus.

This would prove difficult indeed. But Kyra could see the wisdom in Sonya's training. To fight herself meant to fight her own flaws. Quickly she started to pick up on them, thanks to Sonya's critiques but that didn't mean she corrected them right away. The moon was starting to wane in the sky by the time Kyra was nearly finished picking out her flaws and correcting herself. And even she knew she'd have to practice it plenty before she got it ingrained. She wiped sweat from her forehead, ignoring her fatigue and went at it again, refusing to give up.

Finally, nearly three am in the morning she hit her clone before it could hit her, cuts and scraps on her arms and legs. She bent over to catch her breath, looking to Sonya to say something, but a rush of something distracted her. It wasn't the adrenaline, she was already pumped up on that, but something else. Her mind brought up the thumb lick and she swallowed hard, straightening.

"You're a good teacher," she admitted, staring at the clone, "Fighting myself...that's smart. That's why you...licked my thumb right?"

Why had she asked? What difference did it make? And why was she stuck on that singular thing?!

"Should I go again?" she asked, quickly trying to change questions.

Sonya could have left Kyra to her own devices and let her battle it out with her clone till she dropped, but she stayed. Sitting on the bench and watching her till she'd managed to land a blow. When she stopped and spoke Sonya raised an eyebrow before smirking and nodding.
"Yes. Getting a taste of your blood allowed me to fine tune the clone. However, your clone doesn't tire...you do. Being determined and driven is good but knowing your limits is a flaw you seem to have in abundance. As a warrior or a healer, exhaustion can not be bested. Knowing when to stop and rest is key to either class and you are too tired to fight smart. So, go inside. Get some food in your belly, drink some water to re-hydrate and rest. A good night's rest will help. If you want to spar again, just ask."

Walking past Kyra, Sonya put her hand on the female's shoulder as she lifted her mask back into place.
"Though I will admit, the lick wasn't needed, I just felt like stunning you a bit. You were far too serious."
She said as she winked before walking off, pulling her hood back on as the wind clone smiled and faded back into the air around them. A few minutes later when Kyra would be heading to her room. Jayden's room was in the same hall. If she looked, she'd see Jadyen sitting on his bed with a very limited amount of clothing on. Angel, was sitting on his lap, completely nude. Her arms draped over his shoulders as her fangs were deep into his neck. Both were moaning as she ground against his hips and held the back of his head gingerly in her hand.

~

Terra smiled as she continued to work on the area that Kat seemed to favor till the knot was gone. She then moved up over Kat's lovely ass cheeks and began massaging the small of her back. Working the muscles there, and soon up her back more till she got to her shoulder blades.
"Turn over for me baby."
She said as she sat up and let Kat turn, moving back to her thighs, massaging the front of them carefully and as she got closer she massaged her mate's pelvis and smiled as she licked Kat's clit.
"I think some deep penetration massaging is in order...don't you?"

Kat was melting into the bed, her muscles so relaxed she thought shed turn to putty. She rolled over, still just as comfy.

“Terra,” her breath fluttered as her tongue massaged her clit, “please. It’s...in knots too.”

~

Kyra nodded and put the sword away. Her mother had pointed out that flaw more than one time. Kyra didn’t know when enough was enough. So determined on not giving up, she didn’t know when to quit.

Sonya has helped her though. Despite her initial judgment on the Shade she had just spent hours training her. So she thanked her as she past, and blushed as she walked away. It was more than a little stunning. She had caught her completely off guard.

Calling it a night she headed back home, slipping into the mansion in stealth mode, not a noise to be heard from her as she went upstairs to her families wing. Alex has the right wing of the house but Kat had always had the left, even after Terra moved in. Kyra had the room next to theirs, what once had been her nursery. Apart from them, Jayden was the only other person living in their wing, and only non family member down their hall too. His mom had lost his father, her first mate, when he was young, and she was just getting back into the dating scene with a new man. It was awkward for Jayden though when his mom brought him over -paper thin walls - so he had asked Kyra if he could have a guest room to himself for those nights. Now one was assigned for him to use at his leisure, and luckily all the rooms in the wings were guest proofed, so he didn’t have to hear anyone having sex like he would at home.

So as she got to the second landing and headed left she saw the light on and the door open to his room and smiled. She hadn’t been able to tell Jayden yet everything that had happened. She beelined for it, opening her mouth to say hi and froze. For a moment all she could do was stand there dumbly, stuck in place as she stared at her best friend and...and Angel?! But what she was staring at wasn’t the vampires nudity, or their grinding bodies. She was staring at the Shade sucking blood from her best friends neck.

Quickly she ducked left from out of the doorframe, and heart pounding raced silently to her room, clicking the door closed and sliding to the floor.

“What...was...that?” She said out loud to herself, staring at the ceiling. Jayden and Angel? When had that happened? Was he screwing around with Shade? Could that even happen? Was she drinking from him for fun, or for sustenance? Did those fangs hurt? What would it feel like if...

“Mmm,” she winced, her erection getting caught in her tights. She groaned at herself, trying to fix the bulge and ignore the urge to touch herself, but she was only getting harder. And she was in no way small. In fact she typically wore special undershorts that helped her tuck her beast in, so no one would notice it in her day to day life. But of course they couldn’t hold her down much when she was throbbing and hard, begging to be released.

“Go away,” she growled at it, getting up and wiggling out of her clothes to free her cock, only to put pjs on. She couldn’t get it off her mind though. Angel and Jayden. And those fangs.

The more she thought about it the more she throbbed, and eventually she had to ignore both her thoughts and her body to go to sleep. But that didn’t help. She was plagued with dreams of vampires, training, death and healers. And Sonya. Fangs. Biting. Sucking. Licking blood from her thumb. Her neck. Her cock.

She woke up with a gasp and then a groan, feeling the wet sheets on her thighs. A wet dream? What am I, twelve? Oh fuck it’s everywhere. Way to go Kyra.

She got up, cleaned herself and her bed, then crawled underneath a new blanket and passed out, thankfully saved from anymore wet dreams.

Terra smiled at her mate and spent the better part of the night making sweet love to her mate. Giving her that deep penetration massage that she wanted, while kissing her and loving every inch of her till they fell asleep content and sated in each other's arms. When morning came, Terra had the routine morning coffee and kiss ready for her mate before she headed out to the training field.
"Good morning beautiful. I'll see you at lunch."
She said as she stroked Kat's naked stomach while she slept and motioned to the coffee, she had a feeling Kat would sleep in after last night's massage.

Once at the training ground, Bear informed her of Angel's training idea for all Hell Hound trainee's as well as the healer trainee's. It would pair the classes together and send them into a training situation. However the trainee's wouldn't know it was training. All Lycan's that they would be facing would be from an Allied pack and thus be unknown to them. The Lycan's that they'd be facing would be full fledged Veteran Hounds who would be far better than they were. Everyone would be in on the training...everyone but the trainee's of course.

"It's a good idea. It'll put the pup's in a situation they're not prepared for."
Nodding Sonya and Angel started making a list of the things they'd need for the training. Alex contacted the allied pack and asked them for 30 of their Hell Hounds, while also contacting a town that was close to the main pack. It was another Lycan town, still within the safety of the main pack's protection but far enough from the main home that an attack could come if the attackers were brave enough. This training event would take place one week from today so the town and the Hounds had plenty of time to rig the situation.

Sitting on a bench, Sonya was speaking to Angel about Angel's new found affinity for Jayden, the male Lycan that Angel had been visiting for the past week now.
"So. You favor him do you?"
Angel smiled as the two talked, Angel had been like Sonya. She'd sworn off the possibility of finding a mate to focus on her life as a Shade but something in Jayden called to her and she didn't ignore it. Thankfully, she seemed to be fitting to his personal tastes as well as the two hit it off almost instantly. Amazing chemistry and it helped that he had an 'old soul' for being so young.

Kyra was up for her typical morning routine, though she was still exhausted. Staying up till three am then tossing and turning through wet dreams hadn’t given her the rest she needed she hadn’t truly fallen asleep till five am and by seven she was up for her cup of coffee her mother delivered every morning and a shower. She needed her morning jog too but she found herself sleeping in another hour before getting ready in her skin tight jogging capris and a tight tank that held her breasts up but in, and sneakers. She had to meet Angel at nine if she wanted this, and she did. But first she had to talk to Jayden, or she wouldn’t be able to look Angel in the eye.

She was a bit more alert - three hours of sleep was better than no hours - as she headed down, seeing her mom still fast asleep in bed, the door open in the mornings - and wondering what her parents had been up to last night. I don’t even want to think about that. Why do I keep thinking about sex? Get it together Kyra.

She found Jayden down in the training grounds with some of the other early risers, stretching for the days work. He smiled seeing her, looking well slept and happy.

“Haven’t seen you in a bit!”

Kyra smiled tightly, oh but I saw you.

She sat down next to him, stretching out a leg to join him, “I was busy.”

He nodded, “with jogging?”

She shook her head, “Haven’t gone yet this morning. No with finding where I belong. I’m becoming a healer.”

Jayden grinned, “That’s awesome Ky. I heard about your aunt. Will she be teaching you?”

She shook her head, “No. I asked Angel to teach me.”

She watched him for his reaction which was simply a goofy smile and his cheeks getting a light pink as he thought of something. Oh jeez that look. I’ve seen that look. He’s falling for her.

“You know Angel?”
“Well yeah, she’s training us-“
“Personally I mean Jayden.”

They shared a look and Kyra was the first to look away, stretching an arm over her shoulder.

Jayden sighed, “how much did you see?”
Kyra laughed awkwardly, “I didn’t stand there and watch if that’s what your asking. I walked by and saw her, um...”
“Feeding?”

“Yeah,” Kyra mumbled. Feeding on his neck. Dipping those fangs into skin...oh hell Im getting aroused again...what the hell is wrong with me?

“Ky you okay? Your face is getting red. I think your losing oxygen. Ky!”

She snapped out of her thoughts, putting her arm down. She had moved it across her neck to stretch and thankfully Jayden had thought she was cutting oxygen, not getting hot.
“Fine. Sorry. So you two a thing now? Or just like...for feeding? Is that, you know, it’s own thing?”

She played it off as curiosity but it was so much more than that. Her eyes cut across the field to Sonya and she had to look away as she throbbed once between her legs. Why had she been in so many of her dreams last night? She was simply training her. It wasn’t like that.

“Ky your naivety is adorable sometimes,” he laughed then smirked, “granted I knew none of that either till Angel explained. And I hope we are a thing. I haven’t gotten to ask her. Feeding for them is pretty intimate though Ky. They don’t pluck anyone. So it wasn’t just that. Besides it was a first for her I think. It’s not like she typically sees Lycans. I didn’t get to ask but I wonder if we taste different. Better or worse.”

“Oh,” Kyra replied, now wondering that too as she switched to stretch both her legs so she could squeeze her thighs together as tight as possible. She watched him for a moment and couldn’t help smiling. He looked happy, “Well I’m glad for you Jayden. I hope it all works out well. Angel seems really nice.”

He gave her a mega grin and started doing push ups, looking up with a devious grin, “I do too. Maybe you can score your stalker hottie and we can go on a double date.”

“Jayden!” She smacked his shoulder and he chuckled, “Her name is Sonya. Stop calling her that.”

“Your the one that went on that tirade the other day, not me. She is hot though. But I got eyes for only Angel now.”

He kept doing push ups and chuckling, feeling her glare on him. But she was only glaring at him because if she looked up and saw Sonya it get so much worse. Already she was straining to hold together.

“Wondering if she’d feed on Lycans too?” He laughed, still innocently teasing, not realizing what he was doing to her. The question alone brought the image to mind and Kyra groaned, feeling her shorts under her capris straining. Not in public. Oh god.

“Kyra?” He looked up as she stumbled up, holding her lower adomen like she was in pain.

“Stomach ache,” she lied, turning towards the empty pool house, “ate right before stretching. Be right back.”

She bolted for the safety of the pool house, getting inside and closing the door, looking out to make sure Jayden hadn’t followed her. Seeing he hadn’t, in fact he was now talking to Angel, she breathed a sigh of relief. They did look happy. Her eyes cut to where Sonya was and her heart thudded once at the idea of her fangs like Jayden had said as her capris strained and threatened to rip. She looked down and swore at the tent in her pants and turned away from the window.

She needed to fix this. She tried to breathe and just calm down, but it wasn’t going away. She rubbed her neck and sat on the bed, staring down at herself. I have to see Angel in forty five minutes. I have to get rid of this erection.

She wasn’t about to touch herself. She didn’t want to reward her dirty mind for doing this to herself while out in public. She just needed to focus on something else, something entirely neutral.

Angel and Sonya were sitting together on a bench waiting for the rest of the trainee's as well as stretching their own muscles to get ready for the day's training when they both caught the conversation between Jayden and Kyra, mainly because they heard Angel's name. Listening to the conversation between the two friends it sounded like simple curiosity but as the focus changed to the bite, both Shade noticed the hint of arousal coming off of Kyra and how it increased quite a bit when Sonya was mentioned. Angel had to stifle a laugh when Sonya was referred to as the stalker hottie. Snickering under her mask as Sonya smirked as well. Seeing Kyra suddenly get up and shoot to her feet made the smell of arousal much stronger but Sonya noticed something off. It wasn't the usual smell of a female she caught coming from Kyra. It was different. Like that of a male. Raising an eyebrow she walked with Angel as they headed for Jayden, after Kyra had left.

Since there were very few trainee's around Angel smiled as she walked over to Jayden and pulled her mask down, sliding her hand behind his head and kissing his lips, having to stand on her tip toes in order to do so since he was quite a bit taller than her.
"To answer your question Jayden. Yes we are a thing. I don't just climb into anyone's bed my dear boy. We're courting at the moment. Testing the waters between the two of us since this is very new for the both of us. I've never been with a Lycan in any sort of way other than combat.

Sonya smirked at the male and winked.
"Break her heart, I'll break every bone in your body."
She said with a teasing smile even though she knew that unlike humans, most courting ended well. It was just a simple joking threat, for which Angel slapped her stomach and looked at Jayden.
"Since I'm a healer and not a combat trainer, this isn't considered favoritism. However, just because we're courting, do not expect Sonya to be nicer to you."
"If anything I'll be harsher because I wanna make sure you can handle my friend."

Seeing the worried smile on Jayden, Sonya giggled and winked as she walked away. Angel just looked at him and slid her hand into his.
"That also means, I'm not fond of sleeping alone anymore. So I'll either stay in your room with you for the time being, or you can come to my room. Whichever."
She said as she gave him one last kiss before lifting her mask as more trainee's began to come out.

Sonya on the other hand headed for the pool house and, using her wind, she made sure the female wasn't naked. When she could tell she was still clothed, Sonya knocked a few times then pushed the door open.
"Jayden said you weren't feeling well?"
She said, using that as her excuse to check on Kyra. As she walked in the entire room smelled of arousal, and she noticed something very thick in Kyra's pants. Something that she'd never seen on a female. She'd heard of it but never seen it. Raising an eyebrow Sonya cocked her head in question.
"Do you have three legs or are you rocking something I don't have?"

Sonya shut the door behind her, and locked it. Letting Kyra know she wasn't getting out of there without answering her.

Jayden smiled, kissing her back, almost a little too earnestly. As Kyra knew he fell pretty quickly for a girl when his heart was set. Angel would find out soon enough he wasn’t going anywhere. Not if she would have him.

“Sounds alright with me,” he smiled, “maybe your room more than mine. We got caught a little last night.”

He winked but then the trainees starting coming out more and he understood as she raised her mask.

“Dinner later?”

~

Kyra was trying to breath and calm herself down. She did not have time for this. Not when she wanted to meet Angel in less than an hour. When someone knocked she jumped, looking up and calling out, “Its occupied!”

That didn’t stop from the door opening. Kyra scrambled for a pillow to hide her tent in her lap, but not before she saw, shoving it on her lap and wincing as it hurt.

“Sonya!” She paled more, in surprise and embarrassment, no no no not her, anyone but her. She felt her capris tightening and swallowed dryly, trying to regain a semblance of control.

But she saw. It was clear the moment she asked and slipped in, locking the door behind her. Kyra wasn’t embaressed that she had a cock, but she sure as hell was embaressed that she was sporting an erection, and the pillow was barely hiding it.

“Would you believe three legs?” She asked, trying to ease the tension and swallowed hard again, “Sonya you should g-go. You shouldn’t be in here.”

Because your making it that much harder for me to calm down. Because you were in my dreams last night and I don’t know why and looking at you now brings them back. Because I am suppose to hate you and yet I’m rocking an erection and I can’t get how your fangs would feel on my skin out of my head!

Of course she said none of them, burying it inside as she kept her calmest face on.

Angel smiled a bit under her mask and nodded.
"Dinner sounds good. You're the male, so you pick."
She said with a wink. Vampire society was primarily ruled by females but in couples, for the most part, males were the dominant ones as they were seen as protectors and providers. Now equal feelings were of course part of it, but for the most part, the females took on a submissive role in the relationship, mainly in the bedroom.

~

Sonya smirked as she pulled her mask down and dropped her hood showing her smirk.
"I should leave? You're a student who's in discomfort, it's my job as a trainer to make sure you're on the top of your game."
Walking over to Kyra she pulled her gloves off and set them down before moving the pillow.
"And in a way, yes. I'd believe a third leg."
She said with a giggle.

"I've never seen a female like you, so. Let me be a good trainer and help you with your issue. You are working with a time limit so...how about we speed this up hmm?"
Moving her head beside Kyra's she ran her tongue along Kyra's neck and let the female feel the sharp raking of her fangs before a sharp pain would shoot into her neck as the fangs punctured her skin and sank in deep. Sonya gripped the back of Kyra's hair tightly and took a small sip of her blood, moaning in her ear as her venom began to bombard Kyra's blood with high octane arousal. The venom activated her bodies natural arousal and just amplified it to a million.

Moving her free hand, she began stroking Kyra's cock through her capris and tugged on the waistband, urging her to pull them down.
