Parallel (LunarWolf and Guardian)

Ariel was giving a small nod of her head. Sleep did sound good at that point in time. She was crawling under the covers and just looked at him from where she was laying, waiting for him to join her.

Ariel was curling close to him at that point in time, and was asleep soon enough. How exhausting that day had been.

It wasn't long after he settled in and wrapped his arms around Ariel that Ian joined her in sleep for the night.

while her brother was resting with his new wife, Iris was dealing with the guests who were still there so that they didn't get angry over her brother and Ariel leaving. but the time they left Iris was rubbing her temples as he head was pounding from all the conversations she had had to have in the few remaining hours of the wedding reception. unlike many of the others there, Iris hadn't had a chance to eat because of her royal responsibilities and having to greet and speak with every noble there was

It wasn't long before Raphael was drifting up next to Iris and was telling her to go and eat, and to just ignore the people that were around for a moment in time. With that she was looking towards the other nobles before she spoke, "Iris needs to eat as well, so if you would all stop being selfish and try to get her to talk to you, because you think you're so special." Nope she really didn't care if she pissed anybody off. Not like anybody would know her anyways. Rose was standing with Andrew just snickering a bit.

Iris thanked her and then wandered over to find something to eat out of what was left of the food prepared for the wedding. while she was looking things over Iris rolled her shoulders a bit as they were stiff from standing so straight all day long

Raphael was giving a faint chuckle before she was drifting off as well, going over to speak to Lucifer about stuff at that point in time. So far everything was going well, except for the arrival of the damn angel of corruption. But it seemed like he had finally left after realizing that he wasn't going to get his way.

Iris was able to find a few things while it wouldn't fill her up it would keep her from searching for food later and causing her to overeat right before bed.

The rest of the night seemed to go by quickly enough and soon enough everybody was heading off so that they could retire for the night.

once she was sure everyone was settled in for the night Iris started to wander the halls making sure that everything was secure before she would even think of heading to bed.

The night seemed to go quickly enough and soon enough morning had come around. Ariel was up with the sun, as she usually was, and had actually ventured off to the kitchens to help the cooks get breakfast prepared. They had given up on trying to tell her that she couldn't help a while ago, since it wasn't going to get them very far. About the only one that she would actually listen to was that of Rose, Raphael, and Andrew.... but Andrew had returned home and the other two woman were helping as well. Rose was currently training some of the generals ways to help protect against aerial attacks, and counterattack them more easily, since they usually didn't have to worry about that much. And it wasn't as though learning something new was going to hurt them at all, hell even Rose herself was learning a few new things as well.

it wasn't long before Ian woke up and after showering and dressing for the day he headed down to the kitchens to find his wife and then he would go and do the normal morning changing of the guard with his sister.

Iris had been up for about an hour and that was mainly out of self-preservation it had been hard to sleep not knowing when one was going to be attacked or if she was going to be rudely awakened. it use to be five to six hours but she was slowly working on it and soo she would be able to sleep till she needed to

Ariel was smiling over at Ian when she spotted him and was giving a wave, before moving out of the way to avoid a few of the other cooks. She was speaking with them all softly, and giving a few suggestions on stuff. Although she did dismiss herself so that she could go over and speak with Raphael, who was standing in the doorway all of a sudden. The blonde haired woman spoke in a low tone, and for a brief moment in time there was a worried look that crossed Ariel's features, although it was soon replaced with a look of relief. "Oh that is wonderful! I cannot wait to meet him now!" Ariel cooed happily. What was she so happy about? Gabriel's wife, Persephone, had just had their son.... after some complications. But in the end everything turned out perfectly, other than the mother being sentenced to a few days of bedrest, which was going to be interesting considering Persephone was the type of person who didn't really like to sit still.

Ian listened as they spoke and while he was concerned for the other females well being he was glad to hear she was doing ok now. Ian figured if she wished to go and visit she could so long as she took someone with to keep her safe and protected.

Raphael was looking over at her queen for a moment in time before she spoke, "If you are wishing to go and visit them, I shall accompany you. Or I'm sure that Rose would be happy to as well. I would suggest Lucifer or even Ian but.... as of right now, Persephone isn't wanting any men other than her husband around her." Probably because as a valkyrie, being seen in that condition by a male made her feel weak, and that wasn't a feeling that she enjoying having whatsoever. Ariel thought about it for a moment before she was speaking in a low voice, "I.... I don't know..... I have to make sure it is alright first." "Arie..... Sweetheart.... You don't need permission to do anything. You need only state that you are going to do this." Raphael spoke before silencing her queen gently, already understanding where she was coming from. Just so use to having to get permission to do anything. With that she was turning Ariel around and pushing her off towards Ian gently before she spoke, "Tell him that you are going to leave for a while to go and visit Persephone with me. Don't ask if you can, just state that you are." Granted Ian was right there and could hear the whole thing, but Raphael wanted Ariel to learn that she could just state that she was going to do something. That she didn't have to make sure that it was alright. Hell she was a queen, if anything it should be Raphael asking her to accompany her, not stating that she was going to.

Ian was listening to everything they were saying but he was also watching the kitchen taking comfort in the fact that they were all calm and doing their jobs without worry at the moment. Ian knew that Raph was doing her best to help make Ariel speak up and not ask for permission all the time. Ian was more than happy to help in his own way knowing that she wouldn't have to worry about him striking out or hurting her for telling him what she was gonna do

Raphael just watched for a brief moment in time and was actually chuckling a bit when the kitchen staff was shooing Ian and Ariel out of the kitchen, telling them to go and enjoy the nice weather. This had Ariel giving a small nod before she was moving out of the way and going over next to Ian. Nope at that point in time she was still silent but given time she would state it, no need to rush at that point in time.

Ian nodded his head "alright alright we are going no need to force us out of the kitchen" Ian then headed out of the kitchen with Ariel and spoke once they were out of earshot of the kitchen staff "you know they could have simply asked instead of shooing us out of there as if were were children"

Ariel gave a small giggle before she spoke, "That is very true but they were still polite about it." With that she walked at his side, just greeting a few people as they walked past them. She brushed some of her hair out of her face, just thinking on the whole topic that Raph had brought up earlier. Don't ask to go, just state that she was going to go. She did want to go and see Persephone, preferably now while it was calmer. "Ian...." Ariel spoke after a moment in time.

"true they were rather nice about it" when he heard his name he turned his head and looked at her "yes? what is it?" Ian had a feeling he knew what she was going to say but he wanted her to say it without butting in to what she was going to be saying

Ariel didn't answer right away, nope she was watching something out the window. A couple of the children playing outside without a care in the world it seemed. The danger wasn't present at the time, but it ached to think that soon those children wouldn't be able to play outside. Especially if the fighting got even worse. "I am going with Raphael to visit Persephone and meet her little one." she spoke after a moment in time, although there was a hint of unsureness in her voice. And then there was a slight shriek of surprise when Raph seemed to come out of nowhere with a grin.

Ian looked at her and smiled "of course just do me a favor and take someone with you so that you are protected" Ian trusted that she would be safe where she was going but he wanted to be sure that she was safe and sound and that he wasn't going to have to worry about her getting hurt or attacked

"I will be going with Raphael. She will keep me safe." Ariel spoke after a moment in time, which had Raphael giving a nod of her head. Although it wasn't long before Raphael was making a comment that she was sure that Rose would come with as well. This had Ariel giving a shake of her head before she spoke, "No Rose will stay here and continue to help train the troops."

Ian kissed the top of her head lightly "thank you and have a good time seeing your friend and her baby" Ian was more then glad that she had stood up for what she was going to do and that since he had asked she had confirmed that someone was going with her

Ariel looked at him for a moment in time before she was giving a faint smile then looked over at Raphael who was making a comment that they would leave the next day.
