"Not sure, but I don't have a choice now, do I?" Diego told Venturous T before he helped the little Luna to the toad. "My name is Diego... I'm a friend of Rosalina's, and I'm gonna get y'all out of here," he said reassuredly to the Luma before he saw the Toad take him for a tactical retreat. His brief moment of ease was interrupted when he heard Rosalina's scream, prompting him to spring over there like mad. He then saw the hat.

The mario hat the Luma had. He put it on as a form of good luck and felt empowered. "Okay... let's-a go," Diego said before he launched a Stealth Explosion when the vines were coming and detonated it at max power at the right distance. He kept firing lasers back at the stubs while he was running toward the sound.

"Rosalina! Luma!" Diego shouted as he ran to where the scream came from/
 
Diego quickly rushed through the corridor. His previous move leaving the vines that previously bind him once again in its regeneration state, allowing him to venture deeper into the ruins. As he did, the monstrous roots became thicker and larger. Pulsating almost like veins across the body.

He then arrived at a big circular room. Most of the vines appeared to be coming from a huge hole right at the center. Across the walls were more of the strange spotted bulbs, holding what seemed like more Lumas. However, his gaze soon locked on what was beind held at the walls.

Rosalina struggled as the vines contorted all over her body. Her dress was even more ripped than before, barely covering her legs or hips and half of the upper area, missing, showing part of her lightblue lingerie. Her breathing was heavier as her struggling was clumsy; The vines tightly kept her in place, but also moved across her frame, making her gaps as they toy with her while also draining her energy. A particular vine was circled up around her thigh, making her shiver against her will everytime it rubbed against her delicate areas.

Her eyes managed to open and stare at our hero. "D...diego...Help....Aaaaaah!!" She was interrupted as a vine, apparently upset, smacked her, tiering apart another piece of her dress in the process...

A strong growl could be heard from within the hole. The origin of all this evil roots was down there, and by the sound of it; It didn't look pretty...
 
Diego took note of the deeper roots and ntoed that it was going to be more difficult to try and free them, but he trudged on. He was wishing he had a sword or something right now. He saw more of the bulbs holding the Lumas, but before he could do anything else, he heard more struggling sounds and such.

He saw it was Rosalina, being held prisoner by the vines. However, by this point, her dress was ripped up so her could see part of her underwear. Furthermore, they were caressing her bar in what definitely seen to be a sensual like manner. However, Diego snapped himself out of oogling her. He needed to free her.

He looked down the growl where the root of all of this here. He put Rosalina first. Diego went over and focused maximum-powered Stealth explosion on where the vines were coming from. Without their base, the vines collasped onto the ground and when the last one fell, Diego jumped to catch his princess. He saved her, like some sort of gallant knight.

"You okay?" Diego asked, a bit tired, but absolutely relieved. He kept his distance far from the wall holding Rosalina. He then looked down the hole where the evil roots were coming from. "I think that's where the roots are coming from. Do you wanna help me stop it or do you wanna free the Lumas?" Diego asked her.
 
Rosalina was brought down from her vine imprisonment and caught by Diego. Her eyes fixated on his as their gazes melded together for a little while. As if time stopped while she was held in his arms.

"I'm fine. Thank you..." Said the princess, her cheeks catching a faint shade of red that looked so enticing to the young lad.

The close moment was interrupted by the roar of the creature that lied down below. The source of these evil roots.

"We should rescue the ones trapped in this floor, but I can sense more...not just Lumas, trapped underneath right next to the source of all this evil weed." She explained. With a swing of her wand, she created a Launch star around her and propelled herself upwards, reaching a bulb growing atop the wall and breaking it. From there the silver Luma popped out, a bit dizzy.

"Owww...."

"Are you okay little one?"

"I-I think so, mama." responded the little guy.

"Good." Rosalina said with a serious expression before shooting a series of star bits upon another bulb. This one freeing three Lumas that, after her signal, quickly floated out of the ruins.

"There's nothing else but to jump down there and face this horrible monster. Are you ready?"
 
Time seemed to have stopped while Diego was holding to Princess Rosalina. It was pretty silent besides Diego's heavy breathing in order to recover. "I'm glad you're all right," Diego told her lovingly, blushing at the faint shade of red that was on her face. He put her down gently when she was able to do so. He saw her go and rescue the little silver Luma when she used a Launch Star.

"Here you are, buddy," Diego said as he placed the Mario cap back on the Luma. He saw three little Lumas flee the area after Rosalina had them flee. "I'm ready. It's time to rescue everyone," Diego told her with a smile before they together dove to see what was the monster that laid down there.

"It's some sort of mutant plant no doubt," Diego said.
 
And so diego, Rosalina and Luma leaped into the pitch black descend. Using her cosmic magic, the Princess created a bubble around them that slowed their descend until touching the floor.

Everything seemed to be shrouded in darkness, not way to see anything. However. they could feel something else in the room with them. A faint growl. the movement of big vines. this was followed by a powerful quake, not only throwing our heroes (except Luma) off their balance, but also crumbling down parts of the upper floor.

Rosalina quickly held Diego by the wrist and yanked him away in time, avoiding the falling debris. The destruction of the "roof" now allowed more of the light to pour in. However, this now gave them a full look at what they were up against.

As Diego has suspected, what was there was in fact a mutated plant. A Piranha Plant, in fact. But this one was huge! It's head alone almost the size of Petey Piranha! And of course the body of said head was nothing but a tangled mass of those evil roots that were covering the whole ruin. Only this one where thicker and bigger, as they were the source rather than the extension. It also looked different from the typical Piranha Plant. Its body was coal black with its white spots with only a few shades of red breaking through. Its jaws were much more prominent and sharp; Its teeth lean and shard as blades, all while a dark ooze pouring down its lower lip everytime those razor fangs split from eachother, and dripping into it's base.

"GRHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWHHH!!!!!"

The plant roared with a distorted and terrified roar. Thorned vines emerging from beneath and positioning around it. Behind it were a series of other bulbs, possibly keeping more people captive.

"It looks terrifying, but we can't give up." Said Rosalina. "those people need our help."

The Piranha Plant appeared to be in a really bad mood. Roaring and growling relentlessly while more of the ooze poured down its mouth. The vines rose upwards, as if preparing to fight...

"GRHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWAAAAAAAWWWWHHH!!!!!"

Diego stumlbed from the quake as a result of whatever onster was here. However, Rosalina yanked him out of the way and when the drbis fell, sunlight came in. There, Diego got a good look of what they were facing. It was a massive Piranha, seemingly inferected with some sort of affliction. He saw the vines connected to it and figured this monster plant was the source of all of this trouble.

Diego flinched from the shout of the massive monster. He saw the vines come out and the bulbs. He took a deep breath. It was Boss Battle time.

When it roared once more, Diego launched a strong Stealth Explosive into its open mouth and it detonated when it closed his mouth. This wasn't a game. He wasn't sure it had an HP meter or anything about that... but it still has weaknesses like fire and cutting things off.

He began firing a constant stream of lasers at the neck.
 
The Stealth Explosive manages to reach the Chaos Piranha's mouth and cause the creature to roar in pain. However, this just a little damage inflicted on an overall large monster. The following shots only managed to infuriate it more. As such it roared much angrily before spewing a ball of black sludge at them.

Rosalina and Luma dodged out of the way, hoping Diego'd do the same. The good left behind seemed sticky and noxious. It just made things harder to ignore as the fumes expanded across and up the room.

This caused our heroes to be distracted enough for the Piranha to attack with a fast swing of its huge vines. Hitting Rosalina, Luma AND Diego and smacking them against the wall. The young lad would be happy that this was a game-based world as an impact like that in the real world'd probably kill him; However, it didn't make things less painful.

Grinning with tis sharp teeth, the weed monster then proceeded to shoot out a series of smaller sludge projectiles at them. The Princess was quicker this time, and activated her Gravitational Pull, making the goo shots orbit around her body before being sent straight back at Chaos Piranha, hitting right on its leafy body. The monster roared in anger and swung its huge vines again. The room's size making it difficult to dodge.
 
Diego knew the laser shots would not do much damage to the Chaos Piranha, but because it was a consistent stream and because they were subtle, it was a good way to do plenty of damage over time without the monster realizing it too much. Diego put up his Echo Reflector to bounce back the sludge, though this time it would damage the Piranha.

Diego felt the wind be smashed out of his lungs when he felt the vines smash him and the others into the wall. "I need to learn to dodge better," Diego muttered as he was taking deep breaths to get back into action. As Rosalina would use ger Gravitional Pull to bounce back the shots back at it. He then saw the vines head toward him.

"Let this work. Dodge Down!"

Diego focused his thoughts as if he was playing the game. How it would be like to press the Control Stick and the dodge button. Diego's body became briefly enveloped in a faint white light while he moved down and he dodged the vine attack. He would need to practice dodging by rolling and air dodging, but this would be the best way to dodge in minimal area.

He shot another Stealth Explosive at the Piranha's mouth before he focused laser blasts at the vines, hoping that he could cut them down to weaken the thing.
 
((You really don't need to make every move be exact to Smash Bros, dude. But if that's ho you roll that's fine. XD ))

The Chaos Piranha did not fall for the same trick, however, and kept its maw closed when Diego launched the Stealth Explosive. While it did some damage, it was not as effective as it did before.

Smaller vines were growing from beneath, eventually reaching for the boy's leg and wrapping around it. As it did it then lifted upwards, dangling the gunner hero upside down while a bigger vine was ready to stab right him.

Rosalina Quickly launched the Silver Luna in charged up cosmic power, destroying the trapping root holding him; Dropping him into the floor, although unceremoniously, right before the Piranha was able to skewer him. The space Princess charged a orb of energy and blasted it right on the back of the beast.

The Chaos Piranha was now REALLY angry. Suddenly countless of vines sprouted from within the walls, grabbing the princess by every limb and one wrapping hard against the Luma before starting to squeeze and making him drop his hat again.

The vines did the same to Diego, all focused only on his gunner arm; Which now was bolted to the floor with so many of the nefarious root wrapped around it. The evil plant cackled as it started to charge its good upon its mouth...

That's when Diego heard a calling...or at least felt like so. Deep within his mind, something pushed to look at the floor; A the red cap now laying at the other side of the arena. He didn't know why, but something was compelling him to go for it, even if it was probably not the important thing when Rosalina and Luma, and him, were currently at the mercy of the Chaos Piranha.

((Hopefully you don't think these are cakewalks. I don't want Diego thinking this is easy.))
 
((Well, it's kinda what he's used to in his head and it allows him to bend physics a bit.))

Diego kept shooting at the Piranha to try and weaken it. He was caught completely off-guard by the attack from it and he was saved from being skewered thanks to the work of Rosalina and the Luma. However, he saw that the thing began meaning buisness and that it just constricted as much as it could around everything to try and keep them down.

"Damn It, I can't move!" Diego mumbled as he saw the gunner arm be bolted to the floor. If he tried to shoot, more vines would be coming the way. He saw the goo begin accumulate into its mouth. He then saw the Mario hat again. However, there was something about it that caught his attention. He didn't know what though. Despite the vines, he began crawling toward the hat and he grabbed it.

What happened next was something he didn't expect at all.

As Diego touched the red cap, something incredible happened.

the hat started to be covered in a powerful light, even making the Chaos Piranha cack away. Transforming into pure energy, the cap flew into Diego. And by that, I mean INTO him! Sinking into his chest while a bright aura enveloped his body. His Gunner armor soon started to glow with the same intensity while the boy could feel every plate, every piece, mold and transform.

Everything was then blinded by a powerful flash. When the light disappeared, Diego's appearance had changed...

He was now wearing a more sci-fi-styled version of the red cap. His armor plate not was of a blue color, and so was his arm cannon. His shoes replaced with brown hi-tech boots and on his back he seemed to be carrying some kind of technological hammer weapon.

It was like if he gained some sort of Mario-styled Armor. But he felt more power, more acrobatic. That's when a voice resonated on the back of his head....

"By absorbing the power within that Hero's Memento, you have acquired a brand-new power...bring force your fire, and hammer and jump your enemies into submission...go forth, as you know posses the power of the Hero Soul!"
 
((The transformation is cool and it'll be interesting how it would work. Especially since a Mario Fighter Mii would be different than a Mario Shooter Mii))

Diego had no idea what to expect when he touched the cap. However, he did not expect for the cap to turn into light and fuse into him. He felt the armor began to shift and transform, with alerts and signs warning of special programming being downloaded into it. He was back on his feet and he took a moment to examine what was going on.

His armor now looked like it was a space-age version of Mario's plumber overalls, including some brown-colored hi-tech boots along with feeling something of his back. He looked down on him, including his arm cannon. Looking down on a puddle of water, he realized he looked like Mario.

He turned and saw what it looked like a hammer with technological upgrade. He then heard the voice tell him on what to do. He took a breath and got a look of determination. "Okay, let's do this," he said as he faced the Chaos Piranha.

He used his laser barrage, but saw that they were rounded and the color of fire... and did more damage to the thing. He saw it at the Piranha to distract it. He pulled out the hammer. "Now let go of MY Princess and my friend!" Diego shoted before smashing the vibes holding Rosalina and Luma into paste.
 
His transformed arm canon no longer blasted the previous energy shots, but rather powerful burst of fire. The Chaos Piranha roared in pain, really affected by the flames. Shaking its body it quickly put itself out before sighing in relief, then swipe its vines at him, but he managed to dodge them.

With his mighty new hammer, Diego smacked the evil roots and caused the Piranha to release its grasp on Rosalina and Luma. The Princess nodded in thanks while the little Luma floated in joy at how cool diego looked right now.

The Chaos Piranha, despite its disadvantage, was not giving up and quickly launched a stream of his poisonous ooze at him.
 
Diego smirked when he saw the Chaos Piranha roar in pain as a resul of his new fire shots. Using his enhanced jumping, Diego easily avoided the vine swioes at him before he saw he succeded in saving Rosalina and the Luma. He quickly put up his reflective shield up and saw that not only did it function just as well, it appeared to have a fire attribute to it.

Namely when the poisonous ooze bounced off while covered in flames and hitting the Chaos Piranha. He then kept moving out of the way and continued to shoot fire bursts at the Chaos Piranha before doing another Stealth Explosive, with the result being it was much more fiery as a result.

"We need to free the others,: Diego noted.
 
Rosalina nodded and quickly she and Luma headed towards the pod, now that the Chaos Piranha was busy and enraged towards Diego.

It's previous goop attack had basically evaporated in contact with with the hero's new fire shield. However, he could feel his energies were depleting, so he couldn't waste time.

The monstrous plan roared again and launched its vines straight at him, having gotten a few destroyed by his previous attacks, it was now lashing all out!
 
Diego saw the two head to start freeing people in the pods while he was keeping the Chaos Piranha busy. Diego apparently felt that the energy was leaving. He wasn't sure if this little power boost was temporary or if it had limitations or something, but he was not gonna mess around to find out. He began launching more fiery laser blasts at the Chaos Piranha.

When he saw the barrage of vines lashing out at him, he had unleashed a Stealth Explosive. He detonated it at the base of the vibes, having them catch fire and falling off. Diego leaped into the air with the hi-tech hammer and smashed it on the Chaos Piranha's head as hard as he could.
 
With his final swing of his Hammer striking right upon its head, the Chaos Piranha exclaimed a final roar of pain before falling backwards and slamming upon the ground in defeat. The floor shook by the mere weight, but after that, the creature did not continue to attack, just groan.

Diego could see that the black ooze started to glow. Drip by drip, it started to lift magically into the air before, in a flash of white, suddenly disappearing.

Rosalina came back, alongside Silver Luma, as well as many other rescued ones. Alongside them there's was also Venturous T. with them as well as some faces our hero did not recognized.

"Holy smokes. You managed to defeat that monster!!" Exclaimed the Toad, with many other of his brethren with him. Probably the trekking group he mentioned was trapped by the vile plant.

The Piranha suddenly started to shake and rustle, much to the Toad's fear. Was it still going? Even after all that?! However, their worries soon vanished when the monster was itself enveloped into a white light, apparently morphing until shifting into something else....

The light ceased, and to Diego's surprise the Chaos Piranha was gone; In its place was none other than Petey Piranha, straight out of all those Mario games.

"Wait. You mean all this time that thing was Petey Piranha?!" Exclaimed Venturous T.

Petey looked around at his surroundings. He seemed confused, as if he didn't know how did he get there. Luckily he seemed passive, not trying to attack anyone in the room.

"Perhaps that strange black goop turned him into that horrible monster." Rosalina added, "He seems much better now."

A yawn caught the attention of everyone. To their right appeared to be one last pod, still unopened, but with the black sludge gone, it quickly deteriorated and opened revealing someone who Diego did not expect.

It was a woman of white skin. Not as the normal type, like actually pure white!. Her hair was a soft black, almost grey, made into a ponytail. Her body was really fit, a lean and beautiful figure but also pretty obvious that she did a lot of exercise. She also wore a blue sleeveless top and some black yoga pants.

"Huh? I was wondering where our exercise instructor went. She was in the trek with us, after all." Said Venturous T. "Miss WFT, are you alright?"

Wii Fit Trainer, as Diego quickly realized, simply got up and stretched her body with a long yawn following. This stretching quickly went into a quick session of warm up stretched as she opened her eyes.

"Hm. Oh, good morning everyone." She said before stoping her exercises and looking around confused. "..Huh? Where are we? IS this the end of the trip?"

"Wait, you mean you don't remember, miss? We were heading here when those creepy vines attacked us!!" One of the Toads explained.

The fitness instructor simply rubbed the back of her head as she said, "I remember something hitting me on the back and everything went black. Since then, everything was making me sleepy, like keeping me asleep. But if you say its true, then thank you for helping me."

"Oh don't thank us, miss. It was the Princess here and most importantly this young fellow here!" Venturous T. explained. "We all thank him. He was a true hero!"

By that moment Diego's new armor disappeared into a poof of light, reverting back to his regular Gunner Armor.

"Well then. Nice to meet you. And thanks for helping us." Said Wii Fit Trainer. Offering her hand in a handshake to the boy.

Petey moved towards them, skipping and roaring happily. Rosalina giggled. "It seems Petey is trying to thank you too, Diego."
 
Diego also landed on the ground, his feet wobbling in exhaustion as he stared at the Chaos Piranha, especially as the corruptive black goo began evaporating and disappearing. He let himself relax extensively, seeing the battle was over. He smiled when he saw Rosalina, the Silver Luma and the various rescued people. He even waved at them.

He then turned to face the Piranha and saw it de-mutated into someone else. It was Petey Piranha. He smiled a bit at seeing the strange plant monster. "Indeed. That black sludge appears to corrupt and mutate whatever living being it envelops," Diego agreed with Princess Rosalina. "We'll probably need to have him moved or something," he noted before he saw Wii Fit Trainer. He couldn't help but blush a bit as he saw her stretch. She was quite attractive, but in a different and more toned way than Rosalina.

He blushed when he was being celeberated for his heroism, giving a goofy smile while rubbing the back of his head embarassingly. "Thanks everyone. We should head back to town to celeberate," Diego said as he shook Wii Fit Trainer's hand. "Are all the Lumas here?" he asked Rosalina.
 
"Nah, I think Petey will be fine here now that you smacked all the crazy outta him..." Commented Venturous T. "And since he appeared to be the source of all the monster flora out there, i'm sure the valley is gonna return to its peaceful ol' self."

Rosalina responded to Diego's question. "Yes, I sense these are all of them. However...I'm still picking a strong power coming from somewhere..."

Then huge Piranha soon started to cough, much to the confusion of everyone around him. At first they thought he was gonna go berserk once more but rather it expanded its belly before something started to go up its through. With a last roar and a cough, Petey spitted a huge object, almost the size of its enormous maw into the floor right in front of them.

"Ewww...wait...what?" Exclaimed one of the Toads.

The object (which luckily seemed to simply slide all the slimy coating it had in a matter of seconds was a huge item of gold. An enormous star!

"T-that's a Grand Star!" Exclaimed Rosalina.

The Lumas seemed to jump in the air eagerly. "Yes yes! We sensed a Grand Star around here and we went to find it, but then we got trapped!" They said almost in unison.

"Huh...so that's what fell from the sky the other night..." Said Venturous T. " Petey must have eaten it as well as the black goop, the crazy glutton..."

The Piranha simply yawned, now relaxed, before throwing his back on the floor and close his maw. The snot bubble suddenly appearing on its face indicating that he had just fell into a peaceful slumber...

"So, I'll take everybody back to Green Star Pass. After the day we had, we all need some rest." Said the adventurous Toad.

Rosalina smiled, while blushing slightly. "I'd love for us all to celebrate, but maybe we should do so back at the Observatory. Not only we need to put the Grand Star somewhere secure, but we also kind of skip lunch with how much of the day passed...a-and well, I kind of need a change of wardrobe..."

Everyone was trying to be polite and not draw attention to it, but even the Toads had a hard time not peeking. After all, after the crazy vines, Rosalina's dress was really torn off, showing her underwear-wearing figure almost entirely. She simply did her best to cover herself with what left of cloth she had, as well as using her arms.

Wii Fit Trainer simply crossed her arms in thought. "Hm, now that the trek is over. I really don't have much to do...I was gonna participate in that Smash Tournament everyone was talking about, but I heard some weird stuff happened there too and it got cancelled..."

"Well...how about you come with us?" Offered the Princess. "We have extra guest rooms so you can at least have somewhere to relax while you think what to do. I'm sure Diego won't mind either..."

"Do you have open space to practice some exercises?"

"Oh, the Comet Observatory is very spacious. So not to worry about that."

"Great!" Said the exercise woman, "I'm Wii Fit Trainer. nice to meet you."

((Dunno what give her as a nickname to shorten said name tho..))
 
Diego looked relieved that everything will return to a form of normality soon though he hoped Venturous T. had a way off of here. "Well, I'm sure that everyone will be happy to see y'all again," Diego explained to the rescued folk before he turned to seer the coughing Petey spit something out.

He backed up a bit in surprise.

It was a Grand Star. Many questions Diego had on how Petey came to eat it and if it was connected to the corruptive goo that befell Petey a while ago. However, it did seem to confirm why the Lumas were here. "Well, we found the Lumas and the Grand Star and rescued alot of innocent people. Sounds like a good day," Diego noted with a relieved smile. Petery was asleep and everyone was safe.

Of course, Rosalina's comment meant that he couldn't help but look again and notice the remnants of her outfit. Her dress was pretty tattered and she was mainly in her underwear. Diego turned away, a very bright red blush on his face. Fortunately, Ventruous T. led the group back to the pass and Diego turned to see it was him, the Lumas, the Princess and the Wii Fit Trainer.

"Yeah, we'll be happy to have you aboard," Diego noted to the Wii Fit Trainer as he introduced himself to her. "Maybe we can call you Wii Fit or Wii for short," Diego suggested as he shrugged his shoulders. "But i reckon the other swill be happy to see the Lumas and the Grand Star safe and sound," he said to them with a smile.

Once they were on board, Diego presented the Grand Star to Polari and the Lumas while the rescued Lumas wre behind him. "Mission accomplished eveyrone!" he said with a smile.
 
"That seems fitting enough." Said Wii Fit.

The following cheering was quickly interrupted but the loud grumblings of Diego stomach. After such a battle, he was mighty hungry despite the embarrassment.

Rosalina giggled, "We did take all day in this, its almost night already. No wonder you're so hungry. I do admit I also would like something to eat right now..."

"I'm fine personally." Said the Trainer, "I always keep a healthy balance between breakfast, lunch and dinner, so I'm tip-top shape. You guys can grab some grub without me."

That's when the Princess had an idea, turning to the boy. "Wait. Diego, you said you brought some special mushroom, right? You said it helped regain strength and energy; How about we take a bite?"
 
"Well yeah, we haven't eaten much at all the past several hours," Diego said with a blush when his stomach growled. He was also feeling a bit tired. However, Diego raised his eyebrow when Rosalina mentioned the strange mushroom he bought.

"I'm not sure. I mean, the guy who sold it was pretty shady so I don't trust it," Diego said as he took out the strange mushroom from his inventory. He couldn't remember the other effects because of his tiredness. "I thought you said you were going to change," he added, remembering what Rosalina said as she was stilled in her tattered dress and underwear.

It was just more or less the two of them in the area they were in though Wii was outside the room they were in. He then heard Rosalina's stomach grumbling.
 
Rosalina scratched the back of her head, embarrassed. "W-well, yes. But I forgot to carry extra clothes. I know Polari is gonna berate me for that when we get back, but he'll also do so about not eating too. He is a sweet boy but way too over-protective. Diego really felt hungry, so the idea of sharing the mushroom and filling up his belly wasn't so bad...

"After a a bit we can hope back to the Observatory with Miss Wii Fit and the Grand Star and you two can rest while Polari goes on and on about my dress, okay?" She said with a smile.
 
"Boy? Isn't he as old as you are if not older?" diego asked her confused. From what he understood, Polari was to Rosalina to what Toadsworth was to Princess Peach. "But yeah, all right," Diego said ad he still looked at the Strange Mushroom, but he was hungry. He took a small bite and chewed it.

He didn't like mushrooms anyway, though fortunately, these shrooms tasted alot better here than in his world. It was also a weird taste. "I feel okay," Diego said as his armor were monitoring his vitals and confirmed he was healthy if not just tired and fatigued. However, he could also feel his energy coming back to him.

"Looks like its safe to eat," he said as he kept looking at it.
