"Ha ha, yeah, though I'm sure it's also because of your natural charm and beauty," Aqualad said once more as he finished a piece of bruschetta with a smile while he was savoring the atmosphere of the lovely restaurant. "Our main course should be here soon. I am wondering, I figure the other Titans probably do stuff like this on their free time. Least, I figure Beast Boy and Cyborg maybe," he added.

Diego looked down at his hands, part flesh and part robotic. He took a breath before he focused. His hands began glowing and emitting mist. He saw a glowing segment appear in his robotic finger tips before he fired a pale blue beam at the table, resultig ina bit of ice appearing. "Looks like I can use my powers like that," Diego told her with a smile.
 
"Mostly they go to the same pizza place over and over." Mynx rolled her eyes. "I love pizza but going going to the same place time after time gets pretty. Print."

Star fire finished cleaning the dishes and placed them in the frying rack. "Good, it may take you awhile to fighting with us though."
 
"I think it is some sort of tradition they do as a form of friendship," Aqualad said before he was thinking. "It looks like our food is here," he said as the food arrived for them to enjoy. "What do you see yourself doing. Would you become a professional heroine like as part of the Justice League?" Aqualad asks her while cutting into his food.

"Well, what would you like to do now?" Diego asked Starfire as he helped her put away the dishes. "What do you like to do for fun?" he asked her with a smile.
 
Mynx began cutting her steak. "Right now I don't think they'd accept me as much more than support. It'd be incredibly dangerous to have me out fighting when I'm not in full control of my powers, but I would like to."

"Watch television or play video games." Starfire said.
 
"Well, you will gain control of your powers soon enough. I'm sure of it," Aqualad told her in a supportive tone. He began digging into his food while savoring the atmosphere. The lights were dim and the fish were beautiful. "I mean, you have a nice set and being able to wirld them all will mean you'll be able to help out alot of people," he said.

"Well, maybe we could go for a walk or something," Diego offered with a smile.
 
"Thanks." Mynx smiled. "The saying that we are our greatest critic seems to be true with me." She awkwardly laughed a bit.

"That sounds wonderful." Starfire said smiling.
 
"Well, I suppose we all need to be able to be honest with our own skills and capabilities," Aqualad told her with a smile as he continued eating his pasta. "I mean, the world needs more heroines and I'm sure you could come up to the top alongside Starfire and Raven when we're all adults," he added to reassure her with a smile.

Diego smiled before he led Starfire to the elevator. He looked at her hand, looking a bit nervously. "Have you pictured things like in the future? Like, if you would ever get married or something?" he asked her.
 
"I doubt I'll be much of a comparison to Wonder Woman." Mynx said. "She's kinda my role model."

"I imagine I will marry someday, and have children, but I do not know with whom." Starfire stated.
 
"Well, she's certainly quite a popular and powerful heroine," Aqualad commented. For the msot part, Wonder Woman and her sidekick, Wonder Girl tended to keep a bit to themselves, well Wonder Girl did anyway. It reminded him of himself before becoming part of Titans East as well as Kid Flash. "Have you gotten to meet her?" he asked as he kept eating his meal.

"That sounds really nice! I guess I kinda think the same. It'd be nice to help the world while also settling down and having a family. I guess we have to be ready to be the heroes for the next generation," Diego tells Starefire as he the elevator opens and he walks beside her out of the tower.
 
Mynx was eating her meal politely and only speaking when her mouth was clear of food. "Yes and no," she said cutting into her steak, "I've been introduced to her and I've seen her a few time in passing but we haven't really interacted. I've probably haven't even said five words to her."

"Are we not heroes already?" Starfire asked a bit confused.
 
"Well, it is still incredible when getting to your heroes, the people that inspired you to go out and become heroes," Aqualad told her as he was finishing up his pasta. "You need to believe in yourself. I am quite sure you will become of the greatest heroines that are coming up. It isn't just about the superpowers or not, it is about how you used them. And from what I heard so far, you plan to use them wisely," he told her with a smile.

"Yeah, but I guess I meant that we're still kids I suppose. Like, we're just starting out and we have alot to do. As we get older, we're gonna become stronger and smarter, and we become like Superman, and Batman and Wonder Woman," Diego reflected as he was walking alongside Starfire on the road, looking up at the cloudy night sky.
 
Aqualad' swords only made Mynx's smile grow and as he finished talking she blushed. "You are so sweet."

Starfire looked up and pointed to a star. "Do you see that star? That is the one my planet orbits."
 
Aqualad smiled at her. "Thank you for the compliment," Aqualad told her with a smile as he saw her smile. It was a lovely smile and he wanted to see more of it. "Though speaking of sweet, would you like to have dessert?" he asked her.

Diego looked over at the distance. "That's amazing," Diego said as he squinted his eyes to look at the particular star. "What do you like most about Earth?" Diego asked her with a smile.
 
"I really shouldn't the steak was pretty filling." Mynx said.

"There is so much, but if I had to choose," Starfire paused thinking, "I would probably choose my friends."
 
"Well, it's ultimately up to you. I am good either or," Aqualad told her with a smile as he gave her a bit of time to decide as he kept enjoyign the ambience of the restaurant.

Diego smiles back at her. "I would think that. You and your friends seem very close. And if we're friends... I would also like to be close to you," he said to her before blushing when he realized how his statement sounded like.
 
"I'm good," Mynx said dabbing her lips clean, "besides we should probably be heading back soon anyway."

"I would like that." Starfire said cheerfully.
 
"Very well then. Waiter, the check please," Aqualad says to the waiter when he arrived and he awaited him. "I gotta say, Mynx, this was the most fun I ever had in a while and I would like to very much do it again," Aqualad told her with a smile.

Diego smiled back, looking s bit relieved she didn't catch on to his little skip. Or maybe she did and didn't say anything. "wow, thanks! I guess it's a surprise since AJ ever though I'd be friends with someone awesome and incredible like you," a Diego told her with a smile.
 
"You don't get out much do you?" Mynx asked sarcastically. She put a large tip down on the table before waving to the waiter that had seated them.

Starfire smiled back, saying, "I am glad I can be your friend as well."
 
"Ha ha," Aqualad said as he paid for the dinner when the check arrived. "Admittingly, I have been pretty busy as of late, with my duties in protecting Atlantis along with being a Titan. I am at least training someone to be a successor so they could help with the duties," Aqualad added to her. "We're all heroes and its a serious job as we all know," he said with a smile. "Shall I escort you back to the Tower?" Aqualad said to her with a smile.

Diego smiled and blushed as he kept walking alongside Starfire throughout the whole time. "What have you been wanting to do beyond being a Titan?" Diego asks her as he is walking beside her. He had the large urge to hold her hand.
 
"I understand," Mynx nodded, "Between being a Titan, training, and my family, I stay pretty busy myself." She stood up. "That would be lovely." She didn't say anything but Mynx was thoroughly impressed by how much of a gentleman Aqualad was. "So what's Atlantis like, if you don't mind my asking?"

"I am giving some thought to becoming a member of the Justice League." Starfire stated. "They are more well known and have more resources. Resources they thankfully are willing to share, especially for Mynx."
 
Aqualad took her hand and began escorting her back to the Tower. They were taking the elevator all the way up back to the entrance of the restaurant. He smiled whne she asked. He always loved to talk about his home. "Well, Plato got the basics right when it came to how the city looked like before it sank. Of course, during that cataclysm and we sank into the sea, our lord patron, Posiedon, embued with the power of the sea so we could survive, especially with the help of Triton, his son. We adatped and learned powerful magic," Aqualad explained a bit.

"I'm pretty sure they will. THough I guess I kinda meant like in the human life. They all have lives outside of being heroes, even if most people don't tend to realize," Diego said with an awkward smile. "Like, I still wanna be a writer and such," he added.
 
"That is so cool." Mynx said after listening to every word Aqualad said. "All I know about Atlantis is from Disney movies and those aren't exactly reliable."

"I do not think I can have a normal human life." Starfire said thinking. "My people do look similar to humans, but we are just different enough to have a hard blending in."
 
"Haha. Well, to their credit, they actually got a surprising details right, at least when it came to early Atlantean civilization," Aqualad notes out to her with a smile. They stepped out of the elevator and walkign through the lobby and more casual part of the restaurant before going through the door.

"I would like to do this again," Aqualad offered to her with a smile.

"So? I mean, look at all the other people. I mean, Batman has a life and... well, he's Batman. Not to mention Wonder Woman, who's kinda a demigoddess, but not really. I'm sure you can live a fulfilling life as a superheroine and as a citizen of Earth. Besides you have all your friends to help, including me," Diego told her with a smile.
 
"Me too." Mynx said tucking her hair behind her ears. "But next time you pick what we do."

"I have only ever lived on Earth as a hero," Starfire stated, "never as a normal person. I do not know how to be 'normal'."
 
"Very well then. I will definitely keep that in mind," Aqualad said as he walked her through the streets. "It is interesting. Aquaman has been having more and more people try interacting with the service and so on to promte unity," Aqualad noted. "I once asked him what would he do if he did not become King. He told me he would've become a sailor or lighthouse keeper regardless," he said.

"I guess I now have been thinking what I would do. Would I remain on the Guard or try and find a civilian job," Aqualad noted.

"Maybe... maybe I could help you," Diego offered to her with a smile. "I mean, if you want me to. Not sure how well the others could do," Diego noted.
