"I know a nice place that serves other stuff," Mynx said, "It has a huge aquarium with a wide variety of fish. Also they have a special dining room that I can us a table at."

"That is very nice." Starfire said, noticing him being tired and hurt ready to catch him if he was to fall.
 
"Well, lead the way. I'd like to very much try it," Aqualad told her as he held out his arm for her and they walked on. As they exited the tower and headed to the mainlaind, they saw the streets were quiet. "How did you end up with the Titans anyway? Considering its been a while since we last talked, I figure it must have been recently," Aqualad asked her.

"What would you like to eat?" Diego offered her as he began looking through the kitchen to eat. He began going through the fridge and so on they had for ingrediants. He did pause for some occasions, looking at his hands. He never had that good fine motor skills. He coulld doodle and do rgular things, but his hands weren't right for fine-tuning or doing delciate thngs like details on drawings and such. But now... his hands had powerful and super precise control and grip and it all felt so new to him.
 
"The same way anyone does, I helped them on a mission." Mynx said, leading Aqualad to a large, modern looking building. Walking in it was immediately noticeable that one of the walls was replaced with glass having a large aquarium on the other side.

A man standing at a podium looked up and noticed the two. "Mynx, thank you for your help." He walked over hugged her.

"I'm happy to have been able to help." Mynx said smiling. "And how is the aquarium's newest addition?"

"She is doing wonderfully, and Mary has taken so well to being a mother." The man replied.

Mynx turned to Aqualad. "They have a few West Indies Manatees here and one had been in labor for days with no sign of the baby, so I preformed a c-section and safely delivered a healthy baby girl."

"Yes and we are very grateful. So grateful the manager said that your next meal is free and you'll be dining in the exclusive area." The man said directing them to an elevator.

"Are you ready to have your mind blown?" Mynx asked Aqualad as the elevator descended.

"Anything is good." Starfire said curious as to what Diego would cook.
 
"Well, welcome to the team then!," Aqualad told her friendily before he entered inside the restaurant and was impressed by the decor as well as everything regarding the location. He looked to all of them, smiling at the fish as they smiled vice versa.

"Manatees? That is impressive, very imrpessive indeed. It's surprising that you know alot about this. I suppose you are full of surprises," Aqualad said to her with an impressed look. "I have high expectations and I wonder if they'll be exceeded," he said back at her.

Diego spent the next couple of minutes making pancakes for him and Starfire, using some fruit to help add extra flavor. "Miss Starfire? Is there something troubling you?" he asked her, as he faced her. From what he heard, she was the most bubbly of the Titans yet she wasn't as talkative as he figured. He wondered if she was just tired or if something else weighed on her mind.
 
"I grew up in Florida, and my parents run an animal rehab center." Mynx said. "We got a lot of manatees over the years. In fact we rescued an orphaned calf and I was the one that taught it to survive in the wild." When the elevator doors open, it revealed an elegant looking dining room with very low lighting.

The man escorted them down a hallway and sat them at a table, handing them menus. "I'll allow you two to look over the menu." He said before walking away.

"Okay, see how pretty much everything is glass?" Mynx asked. "We're in the ocean right now and we're so deep that light doesn't reach this far. Once we order, they'll turn the lights off and we'll be able to see all of the bioluminescent fish."

"No, I am just watching cook." She said cheerfully.
 
"That's very impressive. I would very much like to meet them so I can congratulate them on their work," Aqualad told her with a smile before looking over at the elegant dining room. "Very impressive," Aqualad told her as he admired being in his element. "This is certainly looks very nice and this is quite impressive," Aqualad said with a smile. "What will you be having?" he asked her.

Diego smiled back at her as he finished cooking before putting a plate of pancakes for her before serving some for himself. "I'm really happy I get to dine with someone awesome like you," Diego confessed to Starfire.
 
"I'm thinking about their a steak." Mynx said looking over the menu. "What about you?"

"Thank you and it is nice to spend time with you too." Starfire said taking a bite of the pancakes. "It is delicious."
 
"Well, I've been trying to become a bit more vegetarian from soem influence with Beast Boy's advice, so i guess I'll probably have a mushroom steak or something from the pasta section," Aqualad said as he was looking through the menu in what to have.

Diego smiled at her words. "I'm glad you like it. That's really nice of you to say," he said with a mild blush when she said it was nice to spend time with him too. "It must be amazing to be a heroine and have alot of awesome friends," he said to her. He could see why alot of people like Starfire.
 
"I tend to go with a more eastern diet," Mynx explained, "where there's less meat and used as more of a flavoring than the main focus of the dish."

"It is." Starfire said. "They have helped me so much in getting used to Earth and its customs. They are like family."
 
"I think I will have probably have some vegetable pasta," Aqaualad confimed as he noded to what Mynx said. "How did you end you end up with your superpowers anyway? I suspect that they might not be natural or at least, that your situation may be stranger than initially examined," Aqualad asked her.

"Do you think I could be a Titan?" Diego asked her curiously as he began digging into his pancakes. "I mean, I do have these robotic implants and I also have some sort of ice powers," Diego said as he looked down on his hands. He was also in thought. "How is everyone like? Like, I figure they're all nice though I know that some of ya'll probably date each other or something," he said in thought.
 
Mynx stuck her hand up to get their waiter's attention, and after they'd placed their order, she answered his question. "I was pretty normal for most of my life. I did have a few powers like breathing under water but when I started puberty that's when things went crazy. At first I could manage them but then they became too much and I felt like I was a danger to my family. I couldn't stay there knowing I could potentially severely injure my loved ones or worse. It doesn't help that I don't know if this is something my parents went through or this is just a fluke. I was found on the doorstep of the couple that raised me, umbilical cord still attached and everything."

"We will have to see what you can do, but it is a possibility." Starfire smiled. "Robin can be tough, Raven tends to keep to herself, Mynx is normally busy, and Beast Boy and Cyborg can be loud."
 
Aqualad ordered his pasta along with some bruschetta for an appetizer for the two of them to enjoy. He heard on how she could do things like breath underwater, which certainly got his attention. His eyebrow raised when he heard that she was found on the doorstep. "Well, maybe Aquaman's friend will be able to get further information so we can further help you," Aqualad told her with a smile.

"I'm glad to hear! I would love to work with all of you! You're all so amazing," Diego responded positively while he was eating some more of his pancakes. He did take a bit of time to look at Starfire. "What do all of you see yourself doing in the future? Like, join the Justice League? I figure Robin might go back to Gotham, but I don't much about that," he said.
 
"I doubt it," Mynx sighed, "I have so many powers no found in Atlanteans that I doubt I am one. Besides I was found on a military base, it would be incredibly difficult for anyone outside of the US government and their families to get onto the base."

"Mynx has suggested train younger heroes to be the next generation of Titans." Starfire said a bit cheerier.
 
"Well, there are several different ways of getting information, especially in the superhuman community," Aqualad told her comfortingly. He was curious on how Aquaman's friend will be able to assist in this endeavor, but he was confident that they would succeed. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained," Aqualad added before he was in thought. "Although, it could be surmised that maybe you were the product of some sort of government experiment with supersoliders," he placed. It wasn't surprising. Many governments may trusted the superhumans, but some were uneays, namely because most superheroes would choose being good over being lawful, which governments tended not to like. It also meant most were not abel to be bribed or such.

"Yeah, that definitely sounds like it could be interesting. But I guess it's just one ofthose questions in life. What do you see yourself doing when you've grown-up? I mean, before I became... well, some sort of cyborg ice ninja, I wanted to be a writer or go to make movies. I probably stil could do those things, but I'm not sure how to approach things now," Diego confessed before taking another bite of pancake. "How do you see yoruself in the future, Starfire?" Diego asked her.
 
"If I was a government experiment, I would think they would have figured out who I am or at the very least tried getting me back after I went missing." Mynx stated. "And with me out I the open like this, I could expose the experiment and whatever government created me would face immediate backlash for unethical experiments. Creating a living weapon especially one as unstable as me would earn that government charges of genetic manipulation for the purpose of starting war, personal rights violations, illegal cloning, and that's without me doing anything."

"If I do not stay on Earth, I would return to my home planet." Star fire said. "However I do not see that happening unless something major were to come up. I know my sister would not be allowed to take over as leader so that leaves me and my younger brother."
 
"Not necessarily. Aquaman has been able to hear plenty of things as both a superhero and the King of Atlantis. He heard that some governments use 'third-parties' for things like this, since there is no way to track them and the superheroes have been also using civil defenses with this," Aqualad explains to her though he's also in his thought. He saw the bruschetta arrive and let her take the first one. "Whatever happens, I don't think your friends would let them take you. I wouldn't as well," Aqualad said with a smile.

Diego was curious about Starfire's siblings and such, but the idea of her leaving didn't appeal to him. At all. "Don't go! Uh... Like, I don't think you friends would be happy to see you go and I wouldn't either. I mean, if you consider me a friend I guess. You're strong and really nice and we need people like you," Diego stammered out before blushing. It was a bit embarassing yet it was true, he didn't want Starfire to leave.
 
"Thanks, but I don't want anyone to get hurt trying to defend me." Mynx said as their food arrived and the lights were turned down allowing them to see the fish they were surrounded by.

"I believe my brother can handle the throne." Starfire stated. "But I will help him if he needs me, I just hope he won't need me often. I would miss Earth."
 
"You're one of our friends. Not to mention that the hero community tends to look out for one another," Aqualad told her. He took a sip of the glass of water and when Mynx grabbed some of the bruschetta, he took some too. "This is quite good," he complimented as he enjoyed the good meal with the wonderful atmsphere.

"Maybe he can make Tamaran a constitutional monarcy or even a democracy," Diego suggested. "And we would all miss you too. I just met you, but youre so ncie and friendly to be around," Diego sheepishly admitted with a shy smile
 
"Thanks." Mynx smiled before looking around them.

"I do get homesick sometimes, but I have my friends." Starfire said. "I try to be nice."
 
"What do you think of the bruschetta!" Awualadnasked her as he relaxes with the fish and the atmosphere. "The sea is quite beautiful. The average person can't experience it and I feel bad because the world underwater is just as vibrant and scenic as many of the places here above the sea," Aqualad said with a smile.

"How is your honeworld like?" Diego asked her with a smile, looking curious about the whole thing.
 
"I'm not a big fan of bruschetta but it is good." Mynx had eaten only one. "The closest they'll get is submarines. Honestly when it comes to the deep sea, I prefer them. It's too dark, cold, and the pressure is way more than I am comfortable with. In a sub, there's some light, no pressure, and you can bring a jacket."

Star fire smiled as she began talking about her homeworld and growing up there.
 
"Well, with big companies developing technologues with help from Atlantis, it'll probably be some more. Aquaman figures the more people see and realize the ocean, the greater respect they can have and grow an appreciation to preserve it. I myself have bene working with other people to make devices to clean the ocean," Aqualad told her with a smile. "But yeah, some of the deep sea places could be dangerous, though usually not much different from strange forests here in the surface," he added to her.

Diego smiled and enjoyed throughout the dinner of listening to Starfire talk about hhome. He was looking at her with a soft look, though he blushed when he realized he was staring at her. "That's really cool! Definitely sounds pretty different from Earth," Diego told her.
 
"Exactly, people take the ocean for granted." Mynx rolled her eyes. "I actually have a silicone mermaid tail that I'd put on and go to elementary schools to teach children the importance of protecting the ocean. I'd also wear it if there were field trips to my parents' rehab center. It really got kids' attention and they loved it."

"Most planets are vastly different from one another." Star fire said. "Even planets within the same solar system."
 
"Haha! Well, you certainly would make a beautiful mermaid," Aqualad complimented her with a smile, wondering how she would look like with a mermaid tail. "There are actually a sub-group of Atlanteans with those sort of tails that you would call merfolk," Aqualad explained to her with a smile.

"Yeah, though our Solar System seems to have only Earth now, we used to have Mars," Diego comments as he finishes his pancakes. "Do you really think I could become a Teen Titan, Starfire?" he asked her.
 
Mynx blushed "Thank you. And I know, but kids love them thanks to Disney and I know how to talk to them."

"If you can use your powers, of coarse." Starfire said grabbing the plates once she had finished eating. She walked to the sink and began washing them."
