Dragons Fangs and Tiger Claws {1x1 with DarkMudkip}

She made a face, but nodded. "Alright." She said, heading down to the stables with him, saddling up and heading off.

Minehime scrunched up her nose at the smell, but knew it was a thousand times worse for Daihachi. "Shit." She covered her mouth and nose, looking to Daihachi. "I have some mint oil for the smell?" She pulled out a small glass bottle and a rag.

Minehime emptied the entire bottle onto the rag, then handed Daihachi the soaked rag. "We'll be in and out in ten minutes. We've taken down six hag Raven in twelve minutes, let's beat that record, yeah?"

Minehime drew her own greatsword and proceeded with caution, moving quickly and quietly into the dark cave.

The main room of the cave had one of the witches was scuttering about with a couple frostbite spiders. Daihachi rushed in while she was off guard and rammed his sword through her chest and heart.

Minehime easily killed off the spiders, then moved back to Daihachi so she was close enough for him to hear her whisper. "Let's split up, I'll take the bottom, and you take the top. Everything will be over with faster this way."

"You too." She said, then headed off down the first tunnel. She didn't take long killing the Hagravens, making sure to cut each ones head from its shoulders and tying them around her sash before heading to the next.

Daihachi worked on the witches with ease, killing them all quickly and beheading them without batting an eye. He only kept the one head, for Kodlak, and beheaded the others to insult them. If Minehime kept any, it would be for the rest of the Circle, in case they wished for a cure as well.

Minehime exited the last entrance she had gone into, wiping the sickly looking blood from her blade as she left. She had kept two of the heads, but hadn't taken anymore with her.

"Been ready." She said, hating the unbearable stench in the cave, and wanting nothing more than to get back home.

Minehime took the rag and stuffed it back into her pouch, mounting her horse and heading off back to Whiterun, going full tilt the entire time.

Again, it took a couple hours, but they had returned to Whiterun in near record time. After stabling the horses and grabbing the heads, they headed toward Jorrvaskr. Daihachi felt tense the closer they got; something was wrong. The guards were on edge and the townsfolk looked distressed.

When the two got closer to Jorvaskr, they could see that some of the Companions were standing outside, weapons drawn. Minehime broke out into a jog, and once she was close enough, she could see why they had their weapons out.
"These two won't be a problem anymore." Two Silverhand members lay dead at Aela's feet, two more dead on the steps to Jorvaskr.

Minehime dropped the satchel she had been carrying to transport the heads, staring in shock just behind Daihachi. "What.. Why...?"

"Where have you two been in our hour of need?" Vilkas growled, glaring, his voice strained with anger and grief. Daihachi looked to him, mouth still agape.
"W-We had a task from Kodlak..." He answered numbly. Vilkas clenched his jaw and moved closer.
"Then for your sake, it had better have been important. The Silver Hand swept through and took the shards of Wuuthraad. We fended them off...but for a price." He glanced to Kodlak, Farkas and Njada tending to the old man. Daihachi clenched his fists tightly.
"We'll make them regret this." He snarled. Vilkas nodded.
"Agreed. We go to their base at Driftshade Refuge and make them pay."

While Vilkas and Daihachi spoke, Minehime had moved over to Kodlak, kneeling down beside his body and just staring. None of this could be real, Kodlak was the best fighter among everyone within the Companions, there was no way he was dead.
