Sengoku BASARA: Tensions Rising [DarkMudkip/Jikkah]

Irohahime looked disappointed as well, but she nodded. "I'll be in the bath house." She bowed to Ginjo and Masamune before leaving, flipping her black hair over her shoulder.

Masamune rubbed his face as Kojurou escourted Ginjo off estate property. "There isn't anyone who can beat her, I'm at my wit's end here..." Masamune mumbled

Shigenaga frowned softly, looking over a list of possible suitors for Irohahime; almost every name was crossed off of the paper, all except for one. "One more suitor should be arriving in Oshuu tomorrow, Masamune-sama.." Megohime cradled her forth and youngest child. "Maybe she'd be better off as a pirate under Motochika and his crew." She said jokingly, just as stumped as everyone else.

"Kojurou..?" Irohahime had waited until Ginjo had been escorted from the estate before approaching her fathers Right Eye.

"She's not becoming a pirate." Masamune said, knowing she was joking but wanted to make it clear that his daughter would not become a thug

Kojurou turbed and bowed slightly, "Hai, Irohahime-dono?"

((So she should become a pirate~?))

Megohime waved her hand and looked out over the courtyard, frowning softly.

"Do you think... That I'm pretty enough to be a wife..?" She asked quietly, avoiding eye contact.

((Masamune and Megohime would be so pissed!))

Kojurou blinked at such an odd question, "Well, of course you are...your beauty is equal to that of your mother's..." He answered sincerely

((*whistles innocently*))

"I just want to be as powerful as Tou-sama and as graceful as Kaa-sama.." She admitted, cheeks pink. "I'm scared... What if... What if no man will ever want to marry me because I'm too much like a man and not delicate with a painted face...?"

((She's torn between being a domestic house wife and secretly wanting to be the next head of the Date clan :C))

((Aaww, Iroh...andnopirates!!))

Kojurou frowned, "Don't worry, Irohahime-dono...you're a beutiful young woman with the strength only matched by the Azure Dragon himself...not every man wants a doll for a wife..." He stated, thinking fondly of his own wife, "In time, a man will come who will love you for who you are and not what you're supposed to be. I swear to you."

Irohahime nodded, but she kept her gaze downward. "Arigatou." She said softly, though she still sounded a bit down. "To be honest... I'm not interested in any of the men who have come here.."

Irohahime couldn't help but laugh a bit. "I do have to agree with you there." She said. "Was the same with Kaa-sama and Tou-sama?"

"Oh." Irohahime said, scratching the back of her head. "So Tou-sama really had no choice in the matter either.."

"No, no..!" She shook her head. "It's fine... Anyway, I'm tired and it's late, I'll be turning in for the night." She said and bowed her head to him before hurrying away to the bathhouse.

Jingu had just been relieved from guard duty, heading inside the room she shared with Kojurou and pulling her hair out of it's intricate design, rubbing her neck.

Jingu turned to face him, smiling softly and bowing to her husband. "I take it things are not going well then?" She asked a bit glumly.

"No one can beat her then, eh..?" She stood and moved over to him, helping him out of his coat and armor, rubbing his shoulders. "I suppose there is not much you can do now.."
