Sengoku BASARA: Tensions Rising [DarkMudkip/Jikkah]

As soon as Matsunaga's grasp loosened, she yanked away from him, rolling out of the way as Masamune's blades sliced into Matsunaga's throat, making his eyes go wide. He dropped to one knee and held his heavy bleeding neck, wheezing and glaring up at Masamune.

((Huehuehue~ Who's the spy though~?))

Jingu got to her feet, dropping Matsunaga's sword and moving over to Kojurou and Masamune, frowning and bowing to Masamune. "Forgive me for putting you both through this." She said, wincing when she felt a few on her healed lashes stretch when she bowed.

Masamune turned on his heel, "Save it for later, I have to get home." He said as he hurried off. Kojurou gently scooped up Jingu, "Shall we?"

Kojurou hurried after Masamune, helping Jingu on to the spare horse and getting on behind her. "Ready?" Masamune called. Kojurou nodded, "Hai...!"

Jingu held onto Kojurou, a soft frown on her face as they raced off toward Oshuu.

Megohime sat with her children, Irohahime crawling around Megohime, and Tadamune sleeping, little legs twitching. She brushed out her long raven hair, watching her children with a soft smile, looking up when a knock came at the door. It slid open and one of Megohime's handmaidens entered with tea. "You should be in bed, Megohime-dono, I brought you some tea." "Oh, arigatou." She said, setting her brush down and picking up the tea, then frowning and setting it down when Irohahime grabbed her hair brush and tried to chew on it. "Iroh, no.." She picked up her daughter and held her with a sigh.

((Driiiiiiink the teeeeaaaaaaaa~~~))

((Will she~~?))

"Irohahime-sama sure has gotten big." The woman smiled, Megohime glancing up, getting an odd feeling. "Hai.." She cradled her daughter, glancing at the woman and clearing her throat. "You can leave now." She said. "Oh! Of course! I just wanted to make sure you were alright, goodnight." She bowed and left, leaving Megohime alone.

Megohime looked over at her tea and picked it up, blowing it off and raising the cup to her lips, taking a drink. She made a soft noise and took another couple drinks, then frowning when her vision blurred and she dropped the cup, starting to feel numb. Her eyes rolled back into her head and she fell forward with a weak groan, unable to move, eyes still partially open. The door slid open and the same woman who had brought in her tea entered with a smirk. "Gods you don't know how long I've wanted to do that." She said, grabbing Megohime's wrists and starting to drag her out of the room, Irohahime watching curiously.

The woman had just thrown Megohime over the back of a horse, gagging and binding her, hurrying the horse down around the back before walking back down the hall like nothing had happened. "Masamune-sama, welcome back." She bowed.

Masamune was in no mood, "Where's Megohime." It was more of a demand than a question. Kojurou helped Jingu off the horse and took her to follow Masamune

"Megohime-sama?" She blinked, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I think she went to sleep... She said she didn't want to be disturbed."

The woman looked a bit nervous, waiting until he left before she hurried to the horse, getting on and holding onto Megohime as she kicked it to go.

"Masamune-sama!!" Kojurou called, chasing after her and scowling when he couldn't catch her in time, "She has Megohime-dono!!" Masamune was on his horse and racing after her lightning quick

((Is bitch gon' die??))

She rode for dear life, holding onto Megohime who hung limply on the back of the horse, looking at Masamune out of the corners of her eyes.

Masamune caught up to her easily and pulled up in front of her, forcing her to stop. "You have five seconds to return my wife before I kill you. One."

The woman pulled on the reins hard and looked from Megohime to Masamune. "I... I cannot..!" She said, pulling out a dagger and pressing it to Megohime's side. "I-I'll kill her! Move out of my way!"

Her hand trembled and even her horse snorted and moved back nervously. She made the smart choice and shoved Megohime off the horse and onto the ground, galloping off and leaving Megohime in the dirt.
