Bronte smiled when he kissed her, reaching out to let her fingers barely touch his. She didn't take his hand, because to her, he was like a skittish animal. She was afraid if she was too aggressive, he'd run away. "Is that an invitation?" she murmured quietly, her lips turning into a smirk. In her eyes, there was an immense amount of relief. Here he was, and now she had earned a little more time with him. It may not be forever, because this was a dangerous world, but they at least had a little while. However, amongst the relief in her eyes, there was also sleepiness. She was very tired, for she was just a human. She needed more sleep that the vampires that surrounded her.
Kaspar kissed him back, then leaned back and sighed quietly. "I'm tired, but I'm fine," he murmured, smiling, "Because you're fine. Now. Are you going to let me sleep over again tonight?" He started to take off his clothes, revealing a few bruises and healing wounds. He laid back on the bed - completely naked- and looked up at his commander. "You wouldn't send me out on a night like this, would you?" he asked, pouting a little.
When Nelly walked in, Kaspar blushed and quickly covered his lap with a throw pillow. The old woman didn't look fazed. "Nelly, I almost forgot," Kaspar said, sitting up, "Can you send a donor to Talia? And give her the message that I will come to check on her first thing in the morning. We will get her settled in, because I'm sure her and Catalina will be staying here with Rehv for a while."
Nelly rolled her eyes. "Of course, Kaspar," she murmured, "Just make sure to put that pillow in the fire place when you are done with it." With that, the two men alone again.
