Xanivus and Lena both manage to roll out of the way as a massive figure erupts from the sand. When sand stops cascading down, the figure is revealed to be a Huge Warforged, with a blade for one hand and a hammer for the other.

Roll Initiative.
Lena: 11
Warforged: 2

Lena pulls out a slim wand and proceeds to use it. An Orb of Acid erupts from the tip and smashes into the Warforged.
Total Damage: 36

"Lets go in for a flank." Xanivus goes for a charging attack at the warforged

31 total

8 damage

Lena nods, as the Warforged gives a wordless roar, and brings his hammer down on Lena. Lena is smashed, and is worse for wear. Lena moves to the opposite of Xanivus, and uses another Orb of Acid.

Lena's Total Damage: 25
Warforged's Total Damage: 81

Xanivus's first strike doesn't pierce the warforged's armor, but the follow up strikes do. The Warforged attacks Xanivus with it's blade, swinging with gusto but Xanivus nimbly dodges. Lena adds to the damage with another Orb of Acid.
Damage to Lena: 25
Damage to Warforged: 194

The Warforged falls as the acid eats away to it's core self, destroying it's ability to function.

"That's the plan, hopefully." Lena says, before they trek on. The next 3 days pass peacefully, and at last, they stand before a large, partially destroyed building. "The Cyrean Vault." Lena says, staring a moment. "A vault of creations that was lost early on in the Last War, and was hidden further by the destruction of Cyre. I hope to pierce it's depths and claim the treasures within, and bring history back into the light of day."

The ruins are, as expected, old and crumbling, with chucks of the ceiling missing here and there. Eventually, Lena waves Xanivus over to an Iron Trapdoor. "Think you can get this open?" She asks.

It takes 20 times as long as one attempt. So... I suppose two minutes is good.

After a bit, Xanivus manages to pop open the door, and a felt smell billows out. "Joy. We'll have to be careful of fire down there, the air seems to be stagnant." Lena says.
