There's also obstacle courses and just plain targets.” She moved around Sniper to point out a new set of controls. “These here control the obstacle courses and targets as well as the different levels.”

“They've stopped.” She said, her voice reflecting her relief.

He reached across the table and gently took her hand.
"I'm not sure how long it will take before a meeting can be arranged with the UN. So, I'll be spending as much time with you as I can while I'm living at the Mansion."

Their orders came, and Lance let go of Lily's hand to begin digging into his cheeseburger. It was delicious, as were the fries. For a goof, he dipped his fry in ketchup and touched Lily's nose with it, leaving a ketchup spot on her nose.

Sniper had created a simulation of Juggernaut on the hardest difficulty, and was having a much harder time hitting the latches on his helmet. Since he had left his gun in the jet, he had resorted to using his hand as a gun, but Juggernaut was much faster than he had been before. Aside from that, he had been on his motorcycle the last time they fought, and that made him feel a pang for the loss of his custom motorcycle. Juggernaut managed to hit him with a punch that sent him rolling backwards. He rolled three times, managing to catch his footing on the third roll before he hit the wall.

Rowan gasped, turning her head to the side away from Storm, so that she could better hide in Melinda's shadow. “Oh crap...why does this keep happening...” She groaned quietly, hoping beyond hope that she hadn't been spotted.

Storm walked down the hall and into the infirmary, not at all expecting the scene before her. “Melinda?...” She asked seeing the dark spot on the floor, and with it a tangle of brown hair that wasn't fully covered in darkness. It didn't take her long to figure out who else was in the room. “...Rowan?”

Storm blinked a few times before turning around and shutting the door on the two girls. She stood out in the hall way waiting for them to get dressed before confronting them on proper behaviour in a school infirmary.

Still neither of them noticed the creeping snake, not until it crawled over Holly's, coiling itself up before springing forward and latching onto Holly's shoulder with its venom filled fangs.

Holly cried out in surprise and pain, tearing the snake from her neck and throwing it. “Where did that come from...” Holly asked shakily, holding a hand to her bleeding shoulder.

Jean didn't answer though, she was too busy catching the snake. Unlike Holly the older mutant had the presence of mind to be wary, she caught the reptile and quickly trapped it in the vase.

It wasn't long after that alarms started to go off.

Elianna vaulted herself over the gates to the school, a devilish smirk on her face. Her reptilian friend had accomplished its task, now it was her turn.

He got up and paid the bill before taking Lily's hand and walking out with her. That was when he discovered an empty street and two strange looking people standing before them. One was a scraggly, unkempt mutant down in a position like a frog getting ready to leap. The other was also scraggly and unkempt, but was standing on two feet. He snarled and the other one busted up laughing.

"Aw, isn't that so sweet," he said in a mocking tone, "but unfortunately, we're going to have to put that kitty down."
Lance stepped forward, protecting Lily.
"What do you want?"
The snarling one pointed at him.
"Are you Avalanche?"

"Yeah, what about it?"
"I'm Sabretooth and this is Toad. We're members of the Brotherhood and we've been ordered to take you back by any means necessary."
"Yeah, but see, we don't need the kitty. So, if you don't want to risk her getting hurt, you'd better come with us."
Lance let go of Lily's hand and stood tall.

"Like hell I will! You two should know better than to get in the way of an Avalanche!"
His eyes rolled back in his head and he hunched his shoulders as eerie guitar notes filled the air. The ground began to shake, and the Brotherhood mutants began to move from foot to foot trying to keep their balance. Lance then stomped his foot down, and an earthquake was sent at them, where it blew up a geyser of earth and sent them flying to the side. He then clasped his hands to the earth and began shifting it to form a large dome in which to trap them.

Before he could complete it, however, the two mutants escaped. Toad jumped high into the air and began lashing at him with his tongue. Lance caught it and threw him away. Toad jumped off the wall and came back, but was met with a 3.0 earthquake that traveled through the air and hit him. Toad's head was spinning and he struggled to recover. Lance formed a fighting stance.
"Let's go!"

Sabretooth ignored Avalanche and headed straight for Lily. He recognized her as the one who had interfered with his plans earlier.
"Here, kitty kitty!" he shouted with a menacing snarl.
He then roared and leaped at her claws first.

Sniper stood over a defeated Juggernaut. He had managed to nail him in the eyes with two shots, and from there had removed his helmet and knocked him out the same way as last time. He felt he'd had enough training, so he went to find Storm. He wanted to talk to her about the Freedom Force training with the X-Men.

The only people to be able to deal with it were her three male friends but they left in anger that she would not be with them.
 
The fight with Toad was over by the time Lily transformed into a bear. He had tried hopping from earth mound to earth mound, but his flying kick was caught and Lance beat him in the face until he was unconscious. He quickly hurried to help Lily, collapsing the earth under him to make him fall. Sabretooth managed to jump out and turned to attack Lance, but a 4.0 air earthquake sent him flying back into the distance. He cautiously approached Lily, since she was still in bear form.
"It's all right, Lily. You're safe now."
 
Lilly and turned and faced Lance in her form and let out one last roar before she changed back to human. she stood there knowing that she let the rage surface and she knew if she had not got it under control she would have turned on Lance right then and there. she let the tears as she looked up at Lance then she said "I wanted this to work out". she Left after saying that to end all of this once and for all. she followed Sabortooth's scent in a wolf form. she was going to attack the brotherhood all on her own.
 
Lance was confused. What was she talking about? He decided to follow her.
"Lily, wait a second. You think I'd leave you because you changed into a bear? What's wrong?"
He put his arm around her.

Lance sat down next to her.

He stood up.
