Megohime gave a short nod. “It shouldn’t be too hard, he seems to be cooperative this time.” She said, then started off down the hall again. “I’ll let you know.”

"Thanks.." Masamune said, voice a little sad.
Kojurou hadn't moved from his spot, looking up when Megohime came back. He smiled softly at the sight of her.
"Welcome back, Miss Megohime."

“Sorry I took so long, making tea has never been my strong suit.” Megohime moved to set the tea out on his desk, pouring them both a cup before bringing Kojurou his. He had been the one to teach her how to make tea, and now here she was making it for him. She tried not to think about the situation too much, wanting to keep him calm.

“Thank you, usually you drink it without, but I brought enough for the both of us.” Megohime said, adding two cubes of sugar to her own tea.

He nodded, trusting her and taking his tea, sipping it slowly and smiling, "It's delightful, Miss Megohime." He said. They sat like this for a while, finishing the tea before Kojurou agreed to lie down and rest. His episode would pass after a short nap and he would be back to normal once he woke up, he always did.

Megohime made sure Kojurou was settled in before leaving him in his room to sleep. She was grateful this episode was more mild, but it still weighed heavily on her all the same. Watching Kojurou forget everyone including himself was beyond devastating, even more so when there was nothing they could do to slow his condition.

“Yeah, he had some tea and hopefully will be asleep for the next few hours until he comes back.” Megohime reported.

Megohime didn’t know if it was that she owed Masamune, or if he was just growing on her, but she felt bad. “Good thing I’m here to help then, huh?” She teased. “Your tea making is worse than mine. I’m surprised I didn’t burn it again this time.”

“I think my tea was plenty jarring enough.” Megohime said. “Kojurou might’ve been the one to teach me how to make it, but that doesn’t mean I’m any good at it despite his best efforts.”

He chuckled softly, "Hopefully he wakes up normal..." He said before glancing up at her, "Mitsunari got that meeting set up, it'll be a week from now. You down to go?"

Megohime’s face became more serious and she nodded. “Yeah, of course.” Lately she had been filling in for Kojurou on account of his episodes becoming more frequent. As much as she hated being around the other family heads, she would be damned if she let Masamune go alone. “I just got my dry cleaning back, so I should be good to go.”

Megohime nodded. “You think Matsunaga’s behind this? I mean I wouldn’t put it past him, but even now I find it hard to believe those two weren’t Tags.” She couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous at the familiar way Masamune spoke about Akihime, but immediately stuffed those feelings down. She was a Tag employed by Masamune, nothing more than a glorified watch dog; it was only natural for a normal to have feelings for another normal.

He noticed the look in her eyes but didn't ask about it, "He might have, but she would get a good read. She's always been really perceptive." He replied, "Maybe they're superhumans...?"

“Superhumans? Aren’t those just a myth?” Megohime asked, a soft frown on her face. She had heard somewhat about those called superhuman, but all of it seemed like conjecture or exaggerated gossip.

"Ah, oh," he faltered a bit; he had forgotten that not everyone knew about Akihime, "I mean, they might be real? I didn't see how those two fought, but they fit the bill."

Megohime made a face at his sudden change of heart on the topic, but thought it better to not cal her boss out. “Yeah.. the guy said himself he wasn’t a Tag.” His behavior was a bit strange, but held her tongue on it. “I guess we’ll find out more about it at the meeting.”

Megohime gave another nod. “I’ve got patrol today, and I’ll probably take Kojurou’s patrol route for tonight so he can sleep through the night- I’ve got plenty of things to keep me busy.”

“Please, I wish you’d give me more to do; sitting around is just gonna rot my brain.” Megohime said, heading off on patrol.
