Masamune and Kojurou made their way to Matsunaga's home, making it passed the gate and to the door easily enough. Masamune glanced around, hoping there would be a good spot or two for Megohime to get in without being seen.

The outside of the home was immaculately kept, and when Masamune and Kojurou approached the door, a servant stood in wait for the two. “Date-sama, thank you for your patronage, I’ve already send word to Hisehide-sama. I’ll take you to the lounge where he will be meeting you.” He said, opening the door to allow them inside, giving a brief glance to Kojurou.
There were no signs of Megohime, that was a good sign- if he saw her, Matsunaga would also be likely to see her.

"Got somethin to say to my man Kojurou?" Masamune asked, leaning forward a bit to get in the servant's face, "I'm sure we would love to hear whatever thoughts you have."
"It's fine, boss, let him glare." Kojurou said gently.

The servant looked incredibly uncomfortable as Masamune got close, avoiding his gaze. “N-No, sir, I would never..!” He stammered out quickly. “Please accept my most humble apologies, t-to the both of you..” He said, bowing to bow Masamune and then Kojurou. “Please allow me to escort your both to the lounge..”

Masamune gave a firm nod and followed him inside, Kojurou close behind him. They had never really been in Matsunaga's house, as Masamune didn't enjoy being very close to the older gentleman, but desperate times.

The house was very much just like the outside- pristinely kept almost to a neurotic extent. Rather expensive looking paintings and vases lined the hallways, even the carpet underfoot looked far out of Masamune’s price range. The man led the two to the lounge, bowing his head once again. “Hisehide-sama will be in shortly.” He said, then left the room, closing the door behind him to give them privacy. The room was also furnished with things far more expensive than reasonable, four expensive looking leather lounge chairs arranged around an intricately carved wooden table. Crystal glass wear sat on top of the table with a few expensive liquors, and even more were on the wall not far from the table.

"Well, I suppose a drink wouldn't hurt while we wait." Masamune said, moving to the drinkware, "Kojurou?"
"Just half a glass, please, boss. Lord knows what Matsunaga will say once he sees a Tag enjoying his high end booze." Masamune smiled and took a bottle of preopened whiskey, popping the top and giving a soft smell.
"Sure smells high end." He muttered befire pouring himself and Kojurou a glass.

Sure enough the doors opened not soon after Masamune had poured the two of them drinks, Matsunaga entering with a briefcase in hand. His eyes glanced briefly over the scene before him, but he seemed too preoccupied with his own satisfaction at the business deal that was about to be struck. Closing the doors behind him, he moved into the room and set the briefcase on the table. “Thank you for the business, Date. When you first called I assumed you were merely jesting, but I am more than happy to ensure you receive the highest quality product I have to offer.” Matsunaga was always different when money was involved, practically salivating at the thought of making money, even if it was Masamune’s money.

Masamune quickly and carefully put the bottle back and moved over to Matsunaga.
"That's good to hear, good help is hard to find these days. Sorry for helping ourselves, I didn't think you'd be so prompt." He said. Kojurou didn't dare touch his glass now, worried his hand would be lopped off if he reached for it.

Matsunaga sat down in one of the chairs, an amused smirk on his face at how both men scrambled when he entered. “Please, I set these drinks out for my clients, drink if you so wish.” He offered, eyes briefly moving over Kojurou. “It’s been some time since I’ve seen you, Katakura- you’re doing well, I hope?” His kind words were hollow, nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt at probing the situation. “Don’t tell me this is to find a replacement for that woman- Tamura was it?”

Masamune sat across from Matsunaga and Kojurou cleared his throat gently.
"It was Megohime's turn for patrols when this appointment was scheduled, and I haven't traveled with Boss Masamune in a while, I felt the air would be good." He replied.
"Mego sends her regards, however, she always appreciates the warm welcomes you give her." Masamune said before sipping his whiskey.

His fingers hesitated over the button of his briefcase at the jab, but it was brief. “Well it’s certainly a pleasure to see you once more, Katakura.” He said, popping open the case and pulling out a thick stack of papers. Each one had a photo on the top and information beneath it- files on people Matsunaga had on his own payroll. “These are all of the available assets I have at my disposal- both Tags and normals ranging from prostitutes to house cleaners.” He said, putting the stack on the table and pushing it across towards Masamune. “The corresponding prices are listed, but I’m open to negotiating.” He said, sitting back in his chair.

Kojurou bowed his head politely; Masamune took the stack in one hand and flipped through them slowly, sipping his drink idly.
"I'm looking for a bit of a mixed bag of help, really. A bit more Tags for security, maids and keepers. All of these are quite qualified." He lowered the stack to look at Matsunaga, "Ya got em on hand? I wanna see what I'm working with, a man of your refined tastes would surely understand."

He knew the compliment was more of a back handed one, folding his hands together. “You’d prefer to inspect them all in person?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. Such a thing wasn’t beyond him, but it would be a rather large hassle, and he really didn’t want so many people parading through his meeting room, let alone his house.

"If that's fine with you? I know, it's not ideal, but how do I know these people are what they say they are? How can I be sure they're healthy? Truly, you know where I'm coming from?" Masamune asked, loving to see Matsunaga metaphorically squirm.

“Of course, catering to high needs clients is nothing new to me.” The displeasure was clear in his eyes, like he was aware of the little game Masamune was playing, but he only stood and moved to the phone on the wall behind him. He picked it up and put the receiver to his ear, dialing a number and waiting silently. “Yes, send everyone on the list I compiled- everyone.” He said into the phone, then hung up. He moved back to his chair and sat back down. “You must know that this will take far more time this way, I can only move so many people so quickly. I do hope you have your schedule for today cleared.”

"Just for you." Masamune smiled, raising his glass, "Please, why don't you take Kojurou's glass? He's far too petrified to drink."
"I insist you take mine, Boss Matsunaga." Kojurou agreed.

The idea of him drinking from a Twilight’s glass made Matsunaga almost outwardly frown, but he was able to keep his expression neutral. “I’ll leave the drinking to the youngsters like you, I have plenty of work to do, and I wouldn’t want alcohol dulling my cognitive abilities.” He said. “Why don’t you have a glass for me, Katakura? You’ll be here a while, you’ll be sober enough to drive by the time you leave.”

Kojurou took it as good of an invitation as any and bowed his head before taking the glass. When we the last time he had a good drink? He couldn't really remember.
"I'm sorry to have to put you out, Matsunaga, really." Masamune said.

“How are you enjoying the drinks? It’s a whiskey I had imported some odd years back that became a favorite. I had it stocked in my meeting rooms and even my office- sometimes I wonder if I’ve bought too much.” Matsunaga mused, touching his chin as he spoke. He knew Masamune was playing games with him, but chalked it up to him being bored or simply wanting to waste his time. No matter, today he had time to waste.

Nice dodge, Masamune thought as he sipped his whiskey, "It's good, it's pretty smooth. Not really big on whiskey, but I'll never turn down a drink."

“I’ll have to have something prepared to better suit your tastes next time.” He said, and a knock at the door signaling the arrival of the first group of people. “Please, come in.” He stood to usher in the people who arrived.

Masamune set down his glass and stood, watching the first group come in and looking them all over. He had hoped this would buy Megohime the time she needed to rifle around. He moved and looked everyone over, comparing them to the paper they came with, and only picking a couple of people from this group. "Next?" He asked.

Matsunaga dismissed the first group with the wave of his hand, and by that time the second group had entered. Matsunaga was not happy to have so many people in his home, Tags or not. The second group entered for Masamune to inspect. Everyone of them was in great condition, even the Tags.

Masamune inspected the Tags, even getting Kojurou's input, before stopping at a Tag at the end of the line. He looked over the file and furrowed his brows.
"What's the deal? 80,000 bucks for a C Rank? A bit much, don't you think?" He looked to the man apologetically, "No offense, really." He said genuinely.
