Matsunaga didn’t miss a beat, hands clasped behind his back. “Of course, all of those in my care are high quality. Proper training and education is something I provide to all, Twilights included. Not to mention all receive proper medical care and up to date vaccinations and physicals. The price reflects all of this.” He explained. “If this is price is too out of your budget, I can always find a lower ranked Twilight for you. I don’t deal in damaged or unhealthy product.”

"Have to charge you for the personal grief of housing a Tag, too, boss." Kojurou whispered to Masamune, who nodded gently in agreement.
"Still, 80k is a lot." He said, "You said you'd negotiate. I'm already racking up a big bill, can't you knock it down 10k?"

Matsunaga made a soft noise as he seemed to mull over his request. “That seems reasonable.” He agreed with a nod.

"Cool. Appreciated. I have enough of a budget for a couple more bodies." Masamune said, motioning to the three Twilights he wanted to step out of line.

The three stepped out of line and to the side immediately, and Matsunaga looked pleased. Even if he gave a discount for all three, Matsunaga would still be making a sizable amount of money by the end of things, enough to dull the pain of letting so many people on his nice carpets.
A soft ping alerted from Masamune’s cell, a text message from Megohime: “Patrols finished, going on break.

Matsunaga was curious as to what had changed Masamune’s tune of taking his time, but it didn’t matter as much to him as how much he was spending. “Of course.” He said. “It’s always a pleasure to do business with you.”

Matsunaga ushered out the second group before waving in the third one. He watched Masamune closely as he inspected the last group, finding that something was nagging at him in the back of his head, but he had no idea what.

Masamune tried to keep the suspicion down as he looked over the last group, picking two more from this group and giving a satisfied smile, "I really do appreciate the accommodation. Can't be too sure these days, you know?"

“Of course, these truly are dangerous times.” Matsunaga agreed solemnly, moving to the table to look through the papers of the people Masamune had decided on so he could finish up the business transaction.

Matsunaga totaled up Masamune’s tab, making sure to remove the discounts he promised before passing him the paperwork to go over and sign. The sooner things finished up, the sooner he could have his cleaners scrub his home from top to bottom.

Masamune was not a fan of the high price, but they needed the help anyway. He signed his name and pushed the paper back.
"Thank you for humoring me so much." He smiled.

“Of course- I’ll never turn down a business opportunity.” Matsunaga said, lacing his fingers together and resting them on his lap. “Let us do this again some time soon.”

Matsunaga stood as well to escort Masamune out of the meeting room, opening the door for him. “I do hope you’ll make it home safely.” He said, one of his attendants arriving to escort Masamune and Kojurou to the front door.

"Ah, thanks. The roads aren't as safe anymore these days, huh?" Masamune said, giving a small grin, "We should be ok. I appreciate the concern."

Megohime had already arrived back at the estate, waiting in Masamune’s office with the camera she had used to snap photo’s of Matsunaga’s files. Most of his paperwork was locked up, but the pieces she could get to were all documented.

When Masamune and Kojurou returned home, Masamune moved up to his office to meet Megohime, "There's my little rockstar." He grinned, "What did you find?"

“Ugh, please never call me that again.” Megohime said, holding up the camera Masamune had given her to take photo’s of the evidence. “From my point of view, I found a whole lot of nothing, but maybe you’ll find something I couldn’t.” She handed over the camera with a sigh. “Most of the office was locked up tight, so I could only get to what was unlocked or left out.”

"Whole lot of nothing?" He repeated as he took the camera gently, "I'll have Kojurou develop these and we'll look them over. Great job, Mego." He praised gently.

Megohime couldn’t help but smile a bit. “Of course, boss. Glad I could help, and with any luck, there’s something in there that’s damning.”

"Fingers crossed." Masamune smiled. Once Kojurou developed the pictured Megohime had taken, they found that there was no more than a numch of monotonous payments for various services; servants, dry cleaning, things of that nature. Masamune scowled gently, knowing Matsunaga well enough that these weren't just simple everyday payments. But, as they were, they didn't really paint Matsunaga's hands red.
"Son of a bitch.."

“Sorry, boss, I didn’t want to go breaking open any of the locks. He’d know for sure that something was up then.” She said with a soft frown, disappointed that she hadn’t gotten any useful information.
