ʀᴇɴᴇɢᴀᴅᴇ ᴅᴏᴡɴ (1x1 w/ Jikkah)

Megohime turned her head, an amused grin on her face. “I can see she gave you the same answer my boss would have, only you won’t be pestering him at all.”
“We’d really rather hear his answer from his mouth. It won’t take but a minute.” Amaya said.
“Or it can take no time at all and I can tell you now- the answer is no.” Megohime’s grin dropped.

“I can have Kojurou here shoot you both, that would comfort me.” Megohime said, motioning to Kojurou over her shoulder. “Make an appointment, come back then- if you get one.”

Megohime moved to grab her knife, but Amaya was faster, kicking the gate in hard and slamming the metal cage door into her to knock her back. “Watch the man on the roof.” Amaya warned Sasuke as she drew her blade, Megohime knocking the gate away and brandishing her own blade.

Sasuke nodded and pulled out his pistol, taking shots at Kojurou to keep him busy and off Amaya. Kojurou hissed and moved, forced to put his rifle away and move to help Megohime.

Megohime was locked in a struggle with Amaya, their blade work evenly matched, but Amaya was much stronger. The only advantage Megohime had was that she was faster, avoiding Amaya’s swings, and even able to get some of her own in. Amaya’s plan at first was to get Megohime wrangled and disarm her, maybe use her as a hostage to get inside, but was finding things were easier said than done.

Megohime was already having trouble with Amaya, just barely avoiding her blade, when Sasuke joined in she grew nervous. “You guys really don’t like to play fair.” She said, tone showing her irritation as she locked blades with Amaya, kicking her back hard in the gut. Amaya took the chance to grab Megohime’s ankle, dragging her forward to slam the blunt edge of her blade into Megohime’s head, but Megohime acted faster. She dropped to her hands and kicked the blade away with her free foot in one motion, using the momentum of the flip to throw Amaya over her, Amaya landing on her feet easily and continuing her relentless attack.

Sasuke moved fast and swiped at Megohime, face set in a scowl as he tried to find an opening. He was forced back when Kojurou appeared, blade in hand, rushing up on Sasuke with incredible speed.
"Dammit, I wanted to be inside before you came out." Sasuke huffed.
"So sorry to disappoint." Kojurou replied.

Megohime was fast enough to evade both Sasuke and Amaya, but she was starting to be pushed to her limit avoiding then both by herself. “I thought for sure you had left them to me, Kojurou!” She teased, avoiding Amaya’s attack but getting punched hard in the side, sending her skidding backwards.

"Forgive me for taking so long." Kojurou said, moving to push Sasuke back. Sasuke huffed and pulled out his gun, aiming it at Kojurou and firing, only to have him barely bat the bullet to the side.
"We just want to talk." Sasuke huffed.
"This doesn't look like talking to me." Kojurou replied.

“The boss has given you his answer. You refusing is just as disrespectful as kicking in his front gate and pulling a damn gun.” Megohime hissed out, slashing at Amaya and grazing her forearm.

"What's disrespectful is him bot even hearing us out." Sasuke said, before he emptied the whole clip at Kojurou. He hit them away each time except the last; the bullet caught Kojurou in the leg and he dropped to his knee with a grunt. Sasuke reloaded quickly and fired at Megohime, scowling heavily, "Just let us in."

The hair on the back of Megohime’s neck stood on end when Kojurou dropped to the ground, keeping her eyes on both Amaya and Sasuke. Amaya wasn’t making it easy though, circling back behind Megohime again and again so her attention had to be divided. She gnashed her teeth and reached into her coat, barely ducking Amaya’s blade as she grabbed her pistol. Amaya could barely track Megohime as she put distance between the two intruders, firing three times at Amaya, who didn’t manage to block or evade the shots. Amaya expected for sure she had been hit three times center mass, and looking down she certainly had, but instead of regular bullets they were downer bullets. She swatted at the bullets quickly, knocking them from her skin, but they had already done their job.
“Shit.” Amaya hissed out as she took a step back, raising her blade, but already she felt the bullets effects, her legs wobbly.
Megohime’s attention turned to Sasuke quickly, and she pointed her gun at Sasuke. “Wanna find out if the rest of the bullets are downers too?”

"I would love to." Sasuke replied, keeping his pistol level with Megohime. There was a loud pop, and when Sasuke looked, Masamune was making his way out, eagle in hand.
"Couldn't take a fucking hint, could ya?" Masamune asked.

“Boss!” Megohime scowled heavily, feeling like they had failed their objective. “Sorry, it seems like it was harder than I thought to get rid of them.” She didn’t lower her gun even as Masamune approached.

"All good, Mego." Masamune replied, "What do you wanna talk about?"
"You dropping support of Tags." Sasuke replied. Masamune seemed to mull it over before shooting Amaya in the thigh.
"Fuck off." Masamune answered.

Amaya dropped to the ground immediately from the force of the shot, using her blade to keep herself mostly upright. She gnashed her teeth and assessed how bad the wound was- if she was lucky his shot would have missed the bone and femoral artery. She felt nothing but pressure, but judging from the blood that flowed freely from her leg, the artery had been grazed. She glanced nervously to Sasuke, but said nothing as he spoke with Masamune, struggling to keep herself upright from the downers.
Megohime wasn’t surprised by Masamune’s response, but hated that things had come to a stand off with Masamune involved. “You holding up, Kojurou?” She called, keeping her eyes on Sasuke. Depending on his answer, she’d decide if she’d be emptying more downers into Amaya or not.

"I'm fine. It just stings." Kojurou replied. His pnat leg was stained heavily with blood and Masamune scowled.
"Did you really have to do my boy like that?" He asked. Sasuke gave a sheepish grin.
"He started it." He replied. Maamune pulled back the hammer on his gun.
"And I'm about to finish it."

Megohime was somewhat satisfied with Kojurou’s answer but not entirely. She looked from Amaya to Sasuke with a scowl, her eyes staying on Sasuke. “So what idiot hired some mercenaries?” She asked, her question really more pointed toward Sasuke, figuring he was the leader.

"Unfrotunately, I cannot divulge that informa-" Sasuke was cut short when Masamune shot Amaya again, his scowl deepening.
"Wrong answer."

Amaya was knocked back again as the second bullet hit her in the shoulder she had already been shot in, but this one went deeper. It wasn’t like she could feel the pain from the bullets, but she was still concerned by the damage they had done to her body. “Some third party contractor, a man who didn’t give a name and we hadn’t seen him around here before..!” Amaya managed out, the downers making her mouth feel like it was full of cotton. She was bleeding pretty bad, her pant leg soaked and blood starting to stain her jacket as well. “We didn’t ask who was giving the order when they flashed money in our face.” She was lying through her teeth, but she was damn good at it.

Masamune made a noise, holstering his eagle, "Get off my property." He snarled. Sasuke moved carefully to grab Amaya, pulling her good arm over his shoulder and helping her walk back to their car.
