"Yukimura." Akihime called, "Enough. Just keep sitting on her."
"F-Fuck me..." Sasuke slurred, lip busted and mouth swollen, "How can you hit so hard?" He looked, his eyes immediately landing on the tags that swung from Akihime's neck and he hissed, "Son of a bitch..."

Yukimura froze, his gun raised over Amaya’s head, her nose and mouth bleeding badly from Yukimura’s strikes. He looked to Akihime, his anger clear on his face. “Akihime.” He didn’t need to say it- he wanted to kill Amaya and it was clear in his eyes. Amaya lay under Yukimura, breathing hard, but not fighting back. “I think you’ve got your answer, boss.” Amaya called.

"Yeah...I think so too..." Sasuke muttered, "Get off her, would ya? We're going." Akihime nudged her head at Yukimura, silently ordering him to get off Amaya.

Yukimura frowned heavily, glancing at Bernardo’s lifeless corpse before standing to let Amaya get up. She grunted as she got up, touching her bleeding side where she had been shot- it was only a flesh wound, but the one in her shoulder felt lodged. She moved over to Sasuke, helping him to his feet before going to collect her weapon.

Sasuke waited before bowing to Akihime, "It's just business.."
"Get. Out." Akihime snarled. Sasuke nodded and left with his men. Claudia hurried to Bernardo's corpse, sobbing weakly as she knelt beside him. Akihime moved and dropped beside him, staring for the longest time before gripping his suit over his chest. She inhaled shakily and doubled over, sobbing into Bernardo's chest; her tears were loud and ugly as she shook.

Yukimura was completely unhurt, only his suit a bit scuffed up- it didn’t feel fair that he hadn’t lost anything when Akihime had. No, even that was a selfish way of thinking. Bernardo had been just as kind to him as the others, and he had even mentored Yukimura for the short time he had been there.
He lowered his gun and moved over to Akihime, standing beside her as she cried, not wanting to leave her alone while she was in such a vulnerable state.

"Suzette...Bernardo...please, forgive me, I'm so sorry...I never wanted to lose you two...I failed you both, I'm so sorry..." Akihime muttered weakly between sobs.
"M...My Lady, we should call an ambulance for them..." Claudia hiccuped. Akihime's sobs immediately stopped and she sat up, drying her eyes and smearing blood across her cheek.
"Yes. You're right." She said, tone dead, and she pushed herself to her feet. She moved to her landline, which had been scattered when she threw her desk, and called the emergency line. Claudia moved and closed Suzette's eyes gently, trying not to sob again at the sight of her missing hands.
"Thank you very much." Akihime finished the call and hung up, "Claudia, please find something to cover them with. I don't care about stains."
"Of course." Claudia agreed weakly before leaving the room.

Yukimura stood in silence for a while, the situation feeling both so foreign and so familiar. Usually, the bodies of fallen comrades were left where they fell, but this situation is different. Setting his gun down, Yukimura shrugged off his suit coat, moving to place it carefully over Bernardo. Looking around, there wasn’t anything to cover Suzette with, but he moved to her regardless, collecting her severed hands and placing them with her body. Tears made his vision blur, and he was angry and confused. He alone should have been enough to stop this, but he had no idea that a mercenary group had been hiding among the protesters. They had expected only normal protesters, but had gotten trained militants instead.

"You probably think I'm an unfit leader now, don't you...?" Akihime asked softly, "I don't blame you, two people I held very dear are dead because of me. Matsunaga would call me a child..."

Yukimura remained crouched by Suzette, glad he still had his back to Akihime so she couldn’t see his tears. “No comrade is safe from death, especially those we hold closest.” Yukimura said softly. “I only wish you would use me more,” He stared down at the tags he wore with a soft scowl. “Otherwise what good are these for?” He gripped the tags in his hand, clenching his fist around them, almost as if he were frustrated by himself.

"Of course...next time, I won't be so scared to use my new blade to defend the ones I care about..." She said with forced amusement, "I just didn't expect Sasuke to kill anyone..." She reached for the phone again and made a phone call.
"Masamune? Ah, sorry, Kojurou. Could you inform your master that I will be hosting a meeting in my home? Two weeks. Yes, I understand that's quite the wait, but I need time to prepare. Yes. Yes. Thank you, Kojurou. Good bye." She hung up just as Claudia returned with a bedsheet, stopping when she saw Yukimura had covered Bernardo. She frowned weakly and covered Suzette gently.

Yukimura stood once Claudia came to cover Suzette, almost like he had been keeping watch over her body until it was properly covered. “Do you want me to do a sweep of the property? Make sure no one remains?” He asked, looking to Akihime.

"Please? If you find anyone with any hostile intentions, just kill them." Akihime replied, "The ambulance will be here in fifteen.."

Yukimura gave a firm nod, retrieving his other gun before heading out to make sure the remainder of the estate was locked down and safe.

“Hold still will you? I can’t get a good look at your injuries with you squirming about.” Amaya scolded Sasuke, assessing his head wounds to make sure he didn’t need anything more than stitches and rest.

Amaya made a face and put one hand on top of Sasuke’s head to keep him still so she could apply a butterfly bandage over the open gash over his eyebrow. “You don’t hear me complaining.”

“How hurtful, I feel plenty thank you- in fact your pain is my pain, captain.” She said with an amused smirk, finishing applying the bandages to his head.

“It ain’t luck.” Amaya said, digging through the first aid kit, finding the aspirin she had been searching for and holding it out to Sasuke. “Unnoticed wounds get infected quickly or cause more issues. It’s nothing but a pain in the ass.”

“With how much of a baby you become, I’ll take your word for it.” She teased. Her own wounds had already been treated, the bullet in her shoulder dug out and the wounds sewn shut. “So, think Date will have a better reception for you than Otani?”

“I guess we better do our best to not be perceived as a threat then, huh?” She said, cleaning up the supplies she had used to treat Sasuke. “I rather prefer to not have anymore holes put in me than I already have.”
