Ianite was just following after him so that they could go to the dining room.

Adrian took his time so she didnt have to try and rush to keep up with him

Eventually they were arriving at the dining room although they were in for quite the shock when they saw that they had some guests... in the form of Ianite's parents.

Adrian called for his guards and ordered them to be removed as he had not given them permission to enter his home

Not that Ianite's mother was leaving without a fight. Although what shocked many is when the woman was all of a sudden storming up to Ianite and slapping her across the face, enough force for the younger girl to lose her balance and fall onto the ground, just holding her cheek. "You are a disgrace of a daughter. I am ashamed that I even gave birth to you. I hope that your husband soon realizes how useless you are, how much of a burden you are." the woman just seemed to screech, and Ianite was just sitting on the ground with tears in her eyes. No she felt defeated and didn't know what she had done to deserve this hatred - she had always tried to be the perfect daughter but it had never been good enough for them. She was nothing compared to her perfect younger siblings... even though she would do exactly as they had but for some reason she would be shunned for not doing it properly and they were rewarded.

Adrian moved and helped her up supporting her so that she didnt put any weight on her foot and watched as the guards dragged them both out of the dinning room and out of the house

Ianite allowed him to help her up to her feet although she was rather silent at that point in time, not even seeming to vocalize that she was in pain. No she had definitely made her ankle worse when she had fallen.

"lets get you seated and get some ice for the foot of yours" Adrian carefully picked her up and carried her to a chair so she could be settled

Ianite was a bit startled when he was picking her up and she was stammering that she was fine.

"no your not" Adrian could tell she was in pain and then slap hadn't helped anything either

 

[GuardianAngel]

Ianite didn't say much of anything at that point in time, just allowed him to do what he wanted to.

Adrian settled herin the chair and then asked for some ice to be brought

A servant was nodding and hurrying off to get some ice.

Adrian looked at her "I am so sorry this happened I didn't know they were here or we would have eaten in my office"

 

[GuardianAngel]

Ianite was just stating that it wasn't his fault at all.

 

[LunarWolf]

"they never should have gotten in here" Adrian blamed himself but he would be fixing the hole in his security that let them in there

Ianite was just stating that he didn't need to feel bad for it.

Adrian let it drop as he wasn't going to fight with her over it

 

[GuardianAngel]

Ianite was just staying silent and just apologizing to him in a soft voice. No it was pretty obvious that her mother's words had deeply scarred her.

"you have nothing to apologize to me for" Adrian smiled at her and when the maid returned with ice he got her foot settled on a chair and placed the ice on it

Ianite was giving a nod of her head although was stating that she could have done that.

 

[LunarWolf]

"it is fine I wanted to do it" Adrian looked at her and smiled lightly

 

[GuardianAngel]

Ianite was giving a nod and soon enough food was being brought back at.

Adrian found his seat and then sat down so that they could eat

Ianite didn't seem to each too much of her food, but she did still eat which was at least a good thing.
