Ianite didn't seem to wake up early, not like she usually did. Although when she did wake up she was giving a small whimper of pain when she moved, more so when she moved her ankle. Even the slightest of movements seemed to just have the pain jumping straight up to a level 10 pain on the pain scale.
 
Ianite was just watching the maid leave the room before she was just slowly sitting up in bed, at least somewhat sitting up. Yet this is when she realized that she was naked and was pulling a sheet up to cover herself up, unsure where her nightgown was at the time. The maids were definitely in for a shock when they went to change the bedding and saw the blood.
 
Ianite was just looking towards the doctor for a moment before was cringing a bit when it was touched. Taking the bandages off just revealed that it was rather swollen again. "Not broken but definitely badly sprained. You'll want to stay off of this foot as much as possible while it heals." the doctor was speaking as he was wrapping her ankle once again with a compression wrap and giving her some pain killers, before the maid was returning with some crutches for her to use to get around.
 
Adrian was in his office working while she was being tended too as he was listening to a report telling him that his wife family had had all of their debts called in and they were struggling to pay them off
 
It wasn't long before Kelly was walking into his office as well to let him know that Ianite was on her way there to see him. "The doctor did check her over and has put her on crutches until her ankle heels. A pretty bad sprain. He also prescribed some pain killers for her to take as needed."
 
Kelly was giving a nod of her head before she was commenting that Calla was walking with her currently since she was still a little unstable on the crutches. "I should apologize but I did step above the head of the head maid and made an order to all of the maids. I told them simply that if they ever saw Lady Ianite seeming to struggle during the recovery that they are to inquire if she needs help at all. That they are to help her no matter what it could be she needs help with." Kelly was speaking. No she was giving him the heads up because the head maid was going to be furious that she had gone above her head - but it was an order that she knew Adrian would have given anyways.
 
Adrian nodded his head "good call if you could have some food sent here once she arrives so that we can eat I would appreciate it"
 
Kelly was giving a nod of her head before she was giving a bow and heading off to the kitchens, getting that order put in. Almost instantly some of the kitchen staff were jumping to it.
 
Ianite was coming into the room and Calla was just following after her and assisting her with sitting down in one of the chairs in the room.
 
Ianite was just looking at him for a moment in time before she was giving a soft smile. "I was told that I have to keep weight off of my ankle as much as possible and be sure to use the crutches when walking."
 
"then you are welcome to come and rest in here as much as you want" Adrian smiled at her and settled in while they waited for the food he had requested
 
Ianite was just nodding her head with a soft smile before she spoke, "Ummm.... I was wondering.... How would I go about inviting another over to join me for the evening. I was hoping to be able to invite Lady Cat over sometime to join me for some tea, and to be able to just talk with another woman." Nope she was still learning how to be formal about that stuff, truly not wanting to become an embarrassment to him at all. Yet when it came to Cat and Darian, they could write anything in the message and nobody would know that the two of them since nobody would dare open their mail. And Ianite wasn't wanting to host an actual tea party with a number of other ladies, eventually she would have to but she wasn't going to do that anytime soon.
 
"all you would have to do is send her a letter asking if she would like to join you and when once she responds let the kitchen know and they will prepare food and drinks for you" Adrian had no issue with her inviting Cat over for tea
 
Ianite was nodding her head before she was questioning, "Ummm.... Is it okay if I do that?" No she didn't want to invite her over if Adrian wasn't okay with it. And she had grown up so use to watching her mother ask for permission. Oh speaking of her parents that had her questioning about her parents.
 
"invite her over if you want you dont need my permissions" Adrian then told her how the plan was going and that so far that were struggling to pay everyone back
 
Ianite was just nodding her head before she spoke, "I...I think I shall." She listened to how it was going with her parents and she actually found herself giggling a bit at the news. As they were talking though a butler was entering the room after knocking with a letter that just happened to be from her parents, addressed to her.
 
The butler was handing the letter to Ianite who just seemed to let out a small breath before she was opening it to see what it was that they were wanting. "They are blaming me for the family going to ruin and state that I am still technically on their family registry so this was going to fall on me eventually as ell.
