Well some of the staff definitely didn't believe that at all, and the rumors were still going around. This stuff Darian didn't pay attention to anymore at that point in time, having expected it to happen.
 
The next day came around soon enough and Ianite was getting ready for the tea party with Cat with the help of Calla.
 
The lies were just going to continue to spread throughout the mansion, and slowly make their way outside of the mansion as well. The rumors that Duke Darian didn't truly care of his wife, forcing her to do things on her own.
 
Cat soon exited her room and headed for the carriage while she didnt take a maid with her she did take a couple guards with to keep the complaining to a minimum
 
It would take about an hour but she was eventually arriving at Adrian's manor - although it was Calla that was outside to greet her which had one of Cat's guards complaining. "Duchess, welcome. I do apologizing that Lady Ianite wasn't here to greet you herself but as she injured herself a few days ago, it is more difficult for her to move around as freely." Calla was speaking.
 
Cat nodded her head "I am aware thank you for greeting me in her stead" Cat didnt' care that her guards felt it wasn't appropriate or not
 
Calla was just smiling before she was speaking, "Please follow me. Lady Ianite thought that the garden would be a good place for a tea party on such a beautiful day."
 
Ianite was giving a smile and was giving her a hug back, at that point she just had her foot propped up on a little stool under the table. "I've been alright. Severely sprained by ankle."
 
Ianite was just commenting, "I stressed it more yesterday when my parents showed up unannounced. Mother had slapped me and I ended up falling, only making it worse. Otherwise I have been doing well. Adrian and I had our f...first night as a married couple."
 
Ianite was just giving a small smile before she was pushing a bit of her hair out of her face and soon a maid came over with some snack and tea.
 
Ianite was sipping at her tea as well and the pair of them were just chatting. Adrian would actually be able to see them from his office and would see how relaxed Ianite seemed to be.
 
Adrian smiled and was glad to see that she was much more relaxed with Cat there and he was glad to see the two of them getting along
 
The two young woman enjoyed their tea party and chatting for a couple of hours, although eventually it seemed like it was starting to sprinkle.
 
The girls did get outside although unfortunately not before it just started to downpour, although Ianite only found herself giggling some.
 
Cat chuckled and wiped the water off of her face and then looked at her "I should be getting home I dont want to be late for dinner"
 
Ianite was just smiling before she was speaking, "I hope we can do this again soon. I know tomorrow I plan on going to the bookstore in town. My first outing to town by myself since I moved here. I am excited but a bit scared. I'm waiting to meet the guards that Adrian has picked out for me."
