It couldn't hurt? Part of it could just be not enough characters engaging in action? Only so much can be done with a waitress on the job, though. Even if she's a secret super.

I have sort of been holding off on activating Blair at the Golden Spoon to wait for Alexa (for the most part but also because I've been waiting for a way to have Ginger and Su-Ji arrive there while it is in progress. But I can start it off now if that would make things easier.
 
They are for now after a phone call to Cricket this morning... I'm just going to be gun-shy now, for a little while.
 
@Frozen Princess I'm thinking that Ginger and Su-Ji would see Blair's exit and hear his little speech to Edith. Su-Ji would of course have heard most of what had happened inside the Golden Spoon as well. And so the two try to stop him, giving Edith another video moment.

@CasualVelociraptor I don't know why it took so long but I just realised that in a sense the parasite that merged with Alex/a is not entirely unlike Venom/Carnage.

But also ... I could have misinterpreted your character profile but even now as I read through it again I still get the feeling that Alex Guthrie was AMAB, which makes sense in this context:

I mean of course I realise that Alex has probably come out as NB to their dad, or at least tried to, but Joe Guthrie does not strike me as a man who would accept that, and also ... if Alex is AMAB why would he assume that Blair has impregnated them?

Though I do quite like the idea that the parasite has transformed Alex's body according to their wishes, making them fully female (with working reproductive organs and everything) instead of the male body they were born with. It could be the parasite's way of rewarding its host.

Actually, I can see a DRUNK thinking along the route of a possible impregnation-especially an uncaring hypocritical one like Joe.

I went through similar abuse, in fact I'm actually surprised he didn't go after Windy (because of her haircut), Edith, or the boy of the couple eating ice cream with the wild and extremely false accusations of impregnation. Paul (my RL alcoholic stepdad) definitely would have, and would have also disrespected Blair and Windy (in a borrowed dress) by their choice of clothes. And Windy's a REAL female.

I've NEVER met a logical drunk alcoholic.

That is all very fair. I think he stumbled past Edith, though maybe I can slip something in about Windy and knock over the ice cream.
 
It's okay @CasualVelociraptor I don't like remembering anything about Paul, but drunks, and especially those who don't understand how biology works (or don't care), doing that kind of abuse is, sadly, all too common. You're just doing factual representation.

The only question I have was why Alex didn't see or think Hughes would have known the public school record, since she even basically admitted she told the counselor to start speaking with Alex due to possible behavioral issues in school that could be seen?

Yes, but not behaviors witness or things like family mentioned in the public school record? Does Alex not see how behavior witnessed can get one in front of a counselor in the first place?

Isn't Juggernaut super-strong first? His whole thing is with being someone whose strength may match and surpass Hulk at times, no?
