That's assuming that any powered person will side completely with the government.
Precisely. Amaya will never side with the government completely. But, you never know... they might pay someone with a mind-bending power to indoctrinate those with powers to act as their agents. It's what happened in China in a different fictional setting I like- that, and any metahuman that got caught and could not be indoctrinated got put to death.

@Inkybus I think your thinking of a super powered Lex Luthor, almost. I can't think of a reason to leave since none of the heroes know what the hell they're doing yet, until they actually bust their first bad guy (or gal). Currently, they wouldn't pose much of a threat, as MsBloom showed, until they learn to work as a team... Which will, as I'm about to write, will fall on Detective Holmes.
I'm not sure about that: I was under the impression Lex Luthor in most comics does not have powers and is "simply" 'just' a genius when it comes to technology. Also, doesn't he usually have his Headquarters in Metropolis, the city that is under the personal protection of Superman?

Besides, not all bad eggs that got superpowers are going to do super flashy stuff immediately- and not all of them have powers that are particularly flashy. Schro, for example: there is no chance he will do flasy stuff anytime soon, especially since he does not have a power that lends itself to flashy things. Instead- well, he will begin a reign of terror the likes of which Scarecrow would tip his hat at.

He is/was, that's why I indicated the villain would almost seem like a superpowered one. I can't think of any character from any comics like that. I don't think even Kingpin was superpowered.

I guess, if you need a villain of pseudo-superpower, I guess you could say the Mafia Big Boss from COPS, could fit with his cybertronic fist?

I liken Blair's general personality and overall role as a potential criminal to Killer Croc of Batman fame: mostly just pissed at the world for how it treated them, doesn't engage in grand plots on their own, and is happy to just rob a clothing store or dine and dash because they can. Less Auric Goldfinger, more Oddjob. Or that's my interpretation. And thus far, they are the only villain whom superpowers are needed to incapacitate.

in the sense of wealth

So far neither of our baddies are motivated by this, and every global dictator must start somewhere right? (I dunno but that is kind of how I see Blair once they have achieved their vengeance.

the people that side with the government

If any. I honestly can't really see Cheshire signing a government contract though perhaps she might be willing to work alongside, but not for, WPD.

If @MsBloom has no issue on a resurrected ex-Air Force pilot,

Can't say I do no. So go for it.

Thus far.

Trust me they will be back, perhaps not with a grand plan or anything, but rather just to sow chaos, and perhaps try to get back at Erin Holmes for abandoning them back in the day.

Exactly how Alexa/Alice Null will play out or what their grand scheme will be I haven't quite yet figured out. Much of it will depend on the parasite that merged with them, so it will probably be something like a Venom/Carnage type of thing, probably also very Jekyll/Hyde.

Yeah, I did get a lot of Venom vibes from them. I'll have to think on this, as I don't want to fill two of my super slots with two working adults, as I do like the idea of having one proverbial finger in each pie, so to speak.

It was a show for only one person in particular, that she still wouldn't admit it was for. Cheerleader Loni Gretsch.

Does this mean that Loni and Windy basically live across the street from one another?

I did get a lot of Venom vibes from them.

I am not sure what the actual intentions were when Alice Null was created since they are not my own creation to begin with but I seem to remember that the parasite thing was my suggestion and that alone basically make them Venom/Carnage even if perhaps the parasite having merged with them (and fullfilled their deep desire for a feminine body) in itself is nothing like either of those two alien symbiots.

@MsBloom Yes, the Gretsch and MacEnroes are across the street, or next to each other. Next door would be more private show for the two then across the street, but I can totes see the two teasing each other in that way.

Faceclaim posted! Probably gonna get started today or tomorrow at the latest, will most likely have my post follow him from "zero hour" all the way to now. How long has it been, just so I'm on the correct page, so to speak?

Also, don't forget to do the same for Red Dog and whatever his real name is. Make it a separate CS though, if you please, that way I can read the Character Sheet in my email first. Thanks :)

Not quite sure what to do with Edith yet.

Nor with Alexa or Blair but I'm thinking they will perhaps make an appearance later in the day.

Also. I am putting up a brief character sheet for Loni (changing the faceclaim a bit (the main difference being the uniform perhaps) because I wanted a full frontal image of her rather than from the side.

@captain_bond @Frozen Princess So about Loni; I was thinking that since James Munroe is captain of the boys' soccer team (and Loni captain of the cheersquad for the girls' soccer team) that perhaps James also has a crush on Loni and she is not entirely disinterested in him. Maybe this could lead to some kind of throuple between the three of them. Assuming you are both ok with that.

Typically in American high schools, there are only two cheerleading teams, one varsity, one junior varsity. The way you phrased that makes it seem like you think there's a cheer squad for every sport, which would be infeasible from both a logistical standpoint as well as in terms of sheer burnout.

Works for me. And the cap's right. Since there's only roughly 124,000 people in Westbrook, that high school may only have one big team (split between any home games and away games if playing at the same time) of about 20-25 students, but one captain. Her co-captain would take the away team.

I've been in middle school in both Colorado Springs and Cincinnati. A few of the high schools here in Cincinnati are lucky to have 700 students total. Well when I went a little over a decade ago.

Hope my first post was good enough
I don't see anything wrong with it, personally. Gives a good overview of what he went through the day before, unlike Marko where I just gave a quick rundown that he entered a tinkering fugue and built his own first 'power armor' like set. Technically it's just six pieces that connect to each other and project force fields around the wearer, so not really 'armor' per se... But you know what I mean.

I enjoyed all three, and about to reread everything.

@MsBloom I can understand the issue with Edith, as I have the current time just before eight o'clock, when she's due to work.

@Inkybus , good point on the lack of coverage by the papers, and I'm about to have Sapphire make the same comment to her boss, iterating what happened to hers and Edith's tapes, while he (again he's NPC, anyone can play him) won't have a clue, Rebecca Knight (Amaya's lawyer lead) will have an educated guess when Beau mentions his encounter as Amaya shows up.

You are right. I simply, misread this as meaning there would be one for each sport.

It's a big town, but not that big. One squad for all the school teams. Football , soccer, track, volleyball, basketball.

I'll edit it in my post.

It still gives a sense of his character though.

I kind of assumed that the papers had not caught wind of it as there was no mention of any other media coverage than Sapphire and Edith on the scene.

And also I am now thinking that Edith of course only sent copies of the footage to Erin. However that doesn't explain why there was no report about it on News 3 Monday evening. Perhaps some other issue stopped them from reporting on the arrival of several super powered humans after the meteor?
