Westbrook OOC

Okay, and that's Olivia Nevrakis, who is a dignitary as well as an agent for the king, and very much like Black Widow in training, but not effectiveness and accuracy with the dagger until after the meteor. Heightened accuracy, senses, skills, strength. She'd basically be a war goddess, now.

If you want a chaotic good (anti)hero, @Inkybus, she's yours for the using in this universe.

Edit, the Duchess is unmarried in any universe.
I am more interested in her stats at the moment: is her physiology comparable to Captain America (Peak Human, allegedly) or more?

Also, Black Widow kills loads of people: is this something that will come up in the game?

To answer your first question @MsBloom about 98% of all beverage cans are now aluminum here. There's still some made with I'm guessing tin, the magnet does stick to them.

To your next post @Inkybus : Olivia comes from a duchy where her people celebrate fighting, they were almost their own country if history went down the other crossroads back in the 14th century. The meteor not only strengthened that resolve, but also her psychology as well. She won't go mad with power or anything. She wasn't trained to kill, like Natasha, since for the most part, the people celebrate their history, they're not barbaric. She has history with it, and kills when necessary. I guess she is Captain America more than Widow in that extent, but assumingly would have a hero name more apt for her like Major Lythikos or something. She'd be more like Lady Justice. If I fully take over Olivia, Erin would go to NPC, but I think someone could walk the thin line better than me between Widow and Lady Justice, including giving her a way cooler hero name.

Edit: You two have similar color scheme on your profile or I'm not awake yet. I'm sorry.

I'd rather create my own third superpowered character, but I need to choose a power I want them to have. 'Peak Human' is not what I'm interested in playing at the moment.

That's fine, @Inkybus I want you to have fun here. :)

The tin beverage (usually beer) here are usually seamless, not like back when, I think only things like soups and such still have a seam. If they've gone all aluminum finally, some are an awful heavy aluminum, @MsBloom

Ahh, thing is: That's not all Jesus was known for. Teaching, praying, helping others without healing, kindness, and more.

Amaya would have a long way to go to be in the same category. Maybe the tabloids would blow it that far out of proportion, but press like Sapphire and her kind wouldn't. Depends on who the sheeple want to believe. Facts or hype.

And fashioning a whip to chase out nonbelievers from the church!

Nah, I was just joking around, failing at humor and stuff. Amaya is definitely not Jesus; or Superman. She will make that very obvious!

Good point. But if you know anything about today's tabloid rags and TV, they'll even blow THAT out of proportion, or twist her words to fit their agenda.

And that's where Rebecca and her team would come in.

Precisely. Amaya is going to sue slander and merch in such an amount that their 3rd generation descendents will feel it. (I'm just joshing again, though whoever did slander will get messed up fr)

Things are getting busy for me too, with Christmas creeping closer and stuff... the holidays and new years are generally pretty busy.

Also, I have reviewed my stance on first person for the roleplay: it was a nice experiment, but I don't find it nice and descriptive enough, so I will go back to third person for Amaya. I'll just go with first person whenever she is in her own head, thinking something relevant to a sitch that could help clarify something.

I have decided on a third character I would like to introduce to the story. Let me know if this not!ironman works for you

Name
: Marko Stojanovic
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Height: 187cm
Weight: 84kg
Descent: Slavic
Hair: Black
Eyes: Light blue
Tattoos: Raven, shoulder
Oddities: shaved head; facial scars, prominent over right eyebrow and on forehead;

Personality: brave, temperate and vengeful

Background:
Marko was born to a french immigrant mother and a serbian immigrant father, both of whom came to the USA to start a new life, chasing the American Dream. Unfortunately, Marko's father turned out to be a lousy, violent drunkard. It was not until Marko was eleven, that his mother and he managed to get away from him, cutting ties as best as they could when he was imprisoned for assault and battery.

They moved in to a new home and Marko's mother remarried to a very strict baptist christian zealot, whose method of education and correction were similar to those of generations past: unwilling to put up with more abuse, Marko managed to lay low for a few more years, before he got through with his SATs and graduated early, testing into Westbrook college at a mere 14 years of age.

Now he attends college, having finished the courses for mathematics and mechanical engineering and getting straight into computer engineering and physics.

Powers:
When the meteorite burst, Marko gained a power that allows him to manipulate the metals found on earth, as long as he can touch them with his bare hands: his fingers have yet undiscovered glands that emit waves and vibrations that result in metals moving and reforming according to his direction and will. He has other such organs over his body, but the ones on his hands and arms are more developed, due to how familiar Marko is with manipulating things that he can work with his hands.

But another consequence of the mysterious meteorite bursting atop the city is the development in the brain of the young engineer: his understanding of physics and all the laws that make up reality has been greatly amplified. So much so that he has ideas for technology that is far more advanced than what humans are currently making.

However, his ideas revolve around conflict and war; defense and offense, armor and weapons like forcefields, impact-dampening exosuits and railguns that can be wielded by a regular soldier to achieve an effect that missiles are already struggling to achieve.
