He blinked at her smile and shook his head to try and hold back the flush and nodded. "it's fine." he said to her and collected up the little puppies into a blanketed box and made sure they were secure. "You don't have to worry about that repayment thing." he said evasively as if he was hiding it from her almost too ashamed to mention it.

Sai blinked in confusion at the sudden look that came across his face but opened the door for him as she saw that that was where he was heading. "Okay then. I'll find some way to pay you back all on my own," she said with a little smile. One of the little dogs was trying to climb out as Zero walked by, so she gently pushed the little thing back in and covered him with the blanket using her powers to calm the puppies a bit before she walked beside her new charge.

Zero gathered the puppies up in a box and headed out with her alongside him and kept an eye out for trouble. Nothing would happen other than a few young men staring at Sayuri's ass as she walked, a few whispering how much they'd like to stick that. Soon he'd lead them back to a small one room apartment and unlocked the door with a key and stepped in and sighed some. Inside was a living room/bedroom loft type large area with a bathroom toward the back and a small kitchen section in the far side of it. "Isn't much but it's home." he said with a sigh and closed the door and locked it. There wasn't a bed anywhere in sight at all though except for a futon sitting in front of a TV with a few things hooked to it and a small coffee table.
 
She smiled once she was inside his apartment. "Thanks again for letting me stay. I think your presence kind of scared off a few people. It's good to know that I'm safe with you though," she said, patting his shoulder. She removed her shoes with ease and stepped into his apartment. Small though it was, it seemed a little cozy, if not lonely. Frowning as she saw that he must have slept on the futon, she wondered how the sleeping situation would work itself out. With a little shrug she turned to him again with a smile and tilted her head to the side. "Is there anything I can do to help with them?" Sai asked in reference to the puppies.

He looked over and set the box down and tilted it so the puppies could run around in a small penned area with newspapers on the floor with small beds already in it. Apparently it was his redeeming factor, wha tkept him from going totally dark; he had done this before. "They'll be fine, just let them play around and explore, we'll put them in the pen at night, I also have a specially built area outside for them to go out to for house breaking." he explaiend and looked at the bed. "..ladies have the bed, I'll sleep on the floor." he asid.
 
"I see no bed," she teased. "And really, that thing is huge. You and I could both easily fit on it and never have to touch." Sai didn't question the special area he had made. Clearly he was a sweet, caring individual. What Sayuri thought he needed, however, was to trust the world around him once more, and, of course, to experience some sort of love for an actual human, rather than just the sweet souls of the puppies he'd rescued. "The only thing I would ask is something to sleep in." She shrugged and tilted her head to the side. "Unless you really don't want to sleep with me," she said.

"Hmm? Something to wear?" he blinked at her and thought about it for a moment as he sat down and petted one of the puppies that came bounding over and jumped into his lap. He didn't carry anything like that really but maybe there was something, it wasn't much but it was still something. "I don't really have anything in the way of feminine clothing of course. but.." He said and thought about where it was. "Look in that closet there." he said pointing to a side door. " On the first shelf there should be some sweatpants and an oversize t-shirt would could probably fit into.
 
"Thanks." That said, she set down her school bag and went to the closet, finding a pair of sweatpants and a shirt that would fit her. Once she had them in hand, she excused herself to the bathroom to change. As soon as she was changed, she noted that the t-shirt hugged at her chest a bit, but beyond that, everything fit her fairly well. She exited the little room and smiled as she came back to Zero and the little dogs who scrambled around for attention. Sayuri smiled and pet them as they came to her, letting them lick her hands as they would, giggling a bit. "So how often do you take care of little guys like these?" she asked.
 
He looked over at her and then quickly looked away, not wanting her to see the faint flush he had from noticing the exact swell of her breats as they strained against the shirt. He wouldn't admit it but he was always a breast-man, he just loved them. HE would lay on his back and let the puppies scamble over him and played with them gently. "Fairly often. People are always throwing out unwanted boxes of them." He shrugged. "It's one way of making money to me. I enjoy raising them and all but I have to sell them when they get old enough. I'm not really allowed to have pets in here. After they get a certain size the manager I'm renting it from gets pissed." he sighed, she could detect the loneliness there.
 
She smiled and watched as the puppies crawled on him, a few leaving her company in preference of his. "Awww....that's so cute," she said. "I'm glad you give these guys a kind, loving home. Everyone needs one sometime." Sai turned her head again to watch him. "Hey, Zero...do you have anyone to talk to? I mean...it seems kind of lonely here."
 
Zero continued to play with the puppies and give them equal amounts of attention and glanced over at her again and blinked. "No not really, it's just me here." he said. "It's not really a place for more than one human being to fit in comfortably. I can't really afford anything outside of this unfortunately." he sighed some. "But if you want to talk about something I'm all ears." he said.
 
She smiled at him and made her way closer to him, shaking her head. "No, silly. I meant if you need someone, you can count on me. I'll keep your secrets for you," she said with a smile running her fingers through his hair. Despite the innocence of the gesture, she couldn't help but feel as though she'd started something between the two of them that probably shouldn't have been started. Still, she kept it light and set one of the puppies down next to him.
 
Zero looked at her and blinked again, wondering for a moment why she was being so nice to him like that. It was getting disconcerting because he wasn't used to it, normally people just ignored him or were intimidated enough to keep away from him. HE shivered lightly at her touch and felt a shock go through him and straight to his groin making him start to get stiff for her. Soon a bulge showing in his pants, but he looked fully relaxed which could explain it away. "Oh I see. Well then I suppose I can keep your secrets too if you want to share. I"m not going to tell you anything unless it's fair and even." he said. "But here's a freebie." he sighe and blushed. "I'm a virgin. can you believe it?:
 
Of all the secrets one could pass on to a new friend, that was not one she had expected. The puppies thing, something about his past, or even a guilty pleasure would have been more along the lines of what was generally considered acceptable. Sayuri was simply not equipped to handle that kind of a secret. First, she blinked, a few moments passing before the message got through. Then, she blushed and shook her head. "Umm...no, I wouldn't have...uh....guessed that. I guess I just thought with all the fan girls...then again, you're not the type to take advantage of anyone." She chuckled and leaned back. "I wasn't really expecting that one, but if you want to be fair and equal about it, I'll tell you that I'm not a virgin, but I've only done it once. Never since."
 
Zero looked at her and blushed some and nodded, he wasn't the type to take advantage of anyone; it was against his breeding. He had mental and emotional scars that wouldn't heal easily and that was the side effect of it. "Bad experience I take it?" he asked her and watched. "If you want a less serious one......I was an accident..." he said, his aura growing dark again, but pained. "My name is Zero because my mother wanted me to forever remember that I'm an unwanted existence. Unnecessary life, a worthless being..." He said. "She never loved me... nobody has..." he said, tears forming in his eyes silently. "It's why I love puppies... they never bite me, slap me, break my ribs forgiving and wanting affection from them..." he admitted.

".....and I'm also a murderer.... I killed my mother when I was 8...."
 
Immediately, Sai had her arms around him, holding him close as the puppies watched and wagged their tails. She kissed his head gently. So that was why this poor boy was so tormented--why his aura was always so dark. "Zero...how is that less serious?" she asked, keeping him close to her. "Since I've gotten here you've done practically nothing but take care of me. You're hardly nothing to me. You're a good friend. And look at all the little guys you rescued. They adore you." She kissed his head again, holding him close. As for what he'd done...."And I don't think someone as nice and caring as you would kill someone."

He blushed darkly as she practically laid ontop of him, causing his groin to jerk in his pants, sending a shiver up his body. It was true, he'd looked out for her, took care of her and was even violating his lease agreement.......again for her sake. Yeah he was going to get booted out the morning. "And I did. I got sick of her beating me for no good reason so I took her pistol, jammed it under her jaw and blew her brain out." he said. "It may not have been right but I was young and desperate to escape her cruelty and I knew she was going to bring me back again." Zero said. "I'm caring becuase I'm selfish.......it's becuase I want someone to care about me..."
 
Sai hugged him and kissed his head again. She believed it. Humans were capable of many a terrible thing. But he had been forgiven. "Oh, Zero...everyone wants someone to care about them. That's not selfish, that's human nature. She still held him close gently running her hands through his hair. "And what you did...well, I'm not going to pretend that it was right, but it's understandable. It's actually almost justifiable," in fact, she and her superiors had often argued this sort of thing before and found that it was. "But Zero...you're not worthless, and you're not a bad person or even selfish. You want and need what everyone else does...just more than everyone else." Here, Sai let him go so she could look him in the eyes. "I care."
 
He felt his vision dimming some as she kissed him again and comforted him in a way he wasn't familiar with. She could feel him tensing up as if expecting her to whack him one, sense the dread of it but when it didn't come all she'd get from him was confusion. When she looked him in the eyes like that with those beautiful honest eyes of hers he felt faint and tried to shake it off a bit. He was not used to hearing that definately. he knew why she did but to hear it said to openly, he could only do one thing and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her squarely ontop of him and hugged her warmly. "nobody else has before.......I don't know what to do other than ths...."
 
Sayuri blushed as he pulled her on top of him. Still, she smiled and let him hold her there, resting her head against his chest. She hugged him back and stayed right where she was. "You don't have to do anything if you don't want," she said, holding him. "I'll stay here as long as you want." She smiled softly and kissed his cheek.
 
He lay there for a while hugging her and soon shifted to release her and stood up slowly, now was the point she got a good sidelong view of the bulge in his pants. "I'd...better get something for dinner, any preferences?" he asked her, blushing darkly as heturned away to grab hsi cellphone sitting on the counter. "Pay as you go, I jus tpay for what I use.' he said.

She thought she'd felt something pressing against her leg while she was with him, but as he stood she saw exactly what it was, making her blush. "Uh...Chinese?" she suggested, trying to distract herself by watching the puppies. Unfortunately, however, they seemed to be asleep. Adorable, but not very good as a distraction. She stood as well and stretched, her shirt lifting just a little bit. She smiled and made her way over to him, leaning against his kitchen counter, watching him. "I really don't have a preference."
 
He nodded and stretched some, his bulge still pressing against his pants, he looked really uncomfortable though and kept shifting around some to try and alleviate the pressure. Nothing was helping at all, and he wasn't going to ask her to help it, certainly not. But if she did something......he wouldn't complain. He'd be on the phone for a bit .
 
As she watched him, she couldn't help but stare. It was just so clear...and he looked almost pained. So, carefully she made her way to him and hugged him from behind, one arm reaching over his shoulder and down his chest, the other wrapped around his waist. She kissed his cheek and neck softly, her soft body pressing against his. She wouldn't do anything to hurt him and the new trust between the two of them. But it seemed like he needed her to help him and if he did anything to suggest that he didn't want her, she would back off.
 
Z blushed as he talked on the phone and shivered as she kissed him and used his free hand to hold her hand and subconcsiously guided it down to the bulging erection he had.
