Robert took a bite of the meal that had recently been placed before them. He paused at her question, wiped his mouth, and put his fork down. "Listen, Harley, I believe in you, but right now you are extremely vulnerable. You have no proper training, and your mind is totally messed up right now. You are still taking in what you are and what you need to be for the sake of humanity." He sighs hard and takes his phone out of his pocket. A small Iphone 8, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. He put it in front of her and unlocked it. He scrolled through his pictures and videos and showed her everything that his job entailed.
Inside the picture gallery was a tremendous amount of videos, pictures, etc etc. of heros that were going through his training program. All the big ones. Captain marvel, Captain America, Tony stark. Yes, even Tony Stark. He let her finish thumbing through the pictures before fetching his phone from her view. "You know what is different about you over those other heros Harley? I know you don't, so let me answer it for you. It's quite simple really."
A smile creeps across his face and he giggles a devilish giggle. "Besides what we did in the bathroom, I found you before you realized what you were, not after. All those heros, the ones that fell? I found them after the fact. Minus Iron Man, cause....well....all his powers were tech and courage. Nothing superhuman there. He's just a genius."
"Harley, i'll be quite frank with you. There is a chance, a chance, that you could be what this world needs, and i intend to use that to purge the world from the rule of those tyrannical bastards. Is that a good enough answer?"
He maintained eye contact as to push his point. His stern look was one of devotion and determination. "The real question, is are you going to be able to listen to me and learn? Or, are we going to play the cat and mouse game of im superhuman and i know better than the professional?"
"The choice is yours."
