Megohime swung a few times for his head, occasionally going for his sides, but it was clear she wasn’t really pushing him- wasn’t fighting him seriously.
Megohime scowled, the image of Masamune’s badly wounded shoulder making her guts twist in knots even more- but she obliged him. She picked up her attack speed, sending several hit rapid fire for the right side of his face before stepping close to connect a punch with his gut.
He barely managed to block the attacks set to his right before he barely managed to get the hit to his stomach. He brought his leg up fast to kick her, putting a bit of weight into it.
Megohime grabbed Masamune’s leg to dampen the blow and to keep herself from being knocked off her feet, continuing to push him back. Still holding onto his leg, she stepped on his other foot, pushing him back to knock him off balance.
Megohime let out a yelp as she was dragged down with Masamune, having to stop herself from falling on him by bracing her arms on either side of his head. “That was rotten..!” She teased.
Megohime had to work harder now with her movements, making sure to move fast, but to not put too much force behind her swings. It was a bit difficult to control, but she managed.
Megohime felt his ankle connect with hers, but even knocked off balance she managed to save herself from falling. Using the momentum of falling, she planted her hands on the ground, swinging her legs hard to catch him with her foot.
“Oh please, I’d like to see that.” She said with a soft laugh, brushing some loose hairs behind her ear. Her anxiety was easing a bit, this wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be, and she was even enjoying herself a bit.
