I just recalled that Allen was texted about talking to Megan about Dr. Smith. I neglected to respond and lost track of it and will respond soon. So you can expect a visit from Allen and potentially Dr. Judy @AndNich123 fairly soon.

If you want to launch a scene with Dr. Smith, you could just assume Megan told him something a bit vague about her not being what she seemed and concerned about Mei. Alluding to her actually being eligible for the breeding program. Probably not a real interesting scene in itself. I don't see Megan coming right out and talking about what she saw directly, I will leave that for Allen and/or Xavier to discover.

I'm gonna opt out I think. I don't mind if you keep the girls in the story if you rename them to like Sabine and Tara or something.

@Fandomizer I can't force you, but if you'd still like to stay in the story, I think you can write Terra swimming for Svenja (who's maybe not in the right condition) and wrapping up the rescue scene. The only thing I care about is helping things along to get the Moltke family to the main colony.

I was looking forward to adventuring on a new planet, and when I signed up I didn't realize it was based on a fandom. And I wasn't really visualizing the landing zone well so my posts were kinda stupid and casual. And when we talk in the OOC about what we want to do next, people keep posting in the RP at the same time, so it becomes somewhat difficult to get everyone on the same page.

I could probably make it work in the colony phase. I could easily rewrite my profiles too. But this current scene we're in my brain is like "make it stahp please". XD

But I definitely panicked and overreacted, happens sometimes, probbaly 2-3 times a year I just need to nope the fuck outta something right now. Then @dreamer nicely offered to let Terra do stuff and I had already nuked everything so I felt bad.

Why don't you let this scene play out on its own. Keep in mind that this isn't really a fandom, we aren't recreating the shows, just using the idea as a sandbox to play in. The main ideas of the group have always been Breeding, Age Gaps, and Spouse Sharing so it is a somewhat smut heavy game. There is interest in more exploring and non-smut writing, so I think there is opportunity for what you are looking for down the line but we do need to get a feel for each other's characters first.

We may need to have some volunteers to play wildlife or even set up some random adventures. I could also put a request out for someone interested in playing out certain items like that. I'm not much of a DM but it does lend itself to those sorts of mini scenes.

This isn't like a D&D group where we are looking for some sort of balance. I think part of the charm is that it is just a somewhat random group of families thrown together, they are who they are and will need to adapt. They weren't expecting to be in such survival mode.

You are really bouncing back and forth so give it a bit of time, take a figurative breath, and think about whether you want to stay in the group.

I think sentient aliens would totally upturn the RP so I would say no to that at least for now. Maybe some primitive sentients on the moon itself, but probably avoid more advanced races at this point. (I do have a secret fantasy of all my girls being carted off as playthings, but that perhaps should be another story.)

Me too. But also like friendly aliens who are interested in being helpful or uplifting technologically in exchange for putting up with being experimented on.

I think 'friendly and helpful' aliiens would fundamentally change the dynamic so let's put that on hold as something that might happen way in the future. For now, this is a group with a basic premise that we are going to continue to follow. I am fine with creating side stories but the overall theme needs to stay consistent. It may be over time, and with group consensus, we make some larger changes.

If you decide you want to return, it should be to join this group more or less as it is, not thinking you are going to change it into something else.

Oh of course. ^_^ I was more just curious what your thoughts were on sentient life since you mentioned animals being a thing maybe. I just figured if there's complex life that the odds of intelligent life are that much higher. But then, even on earth, we have dolphins, whales, octopus, who are all incredibly intelligent but obviously will never develop space flight because they got unlucky being aquatic.

But yes I will try to stop being so neurotic and random. XD

I would only suggest that you delete this last bit.

After the other Chariot left, Svenja entered back into the Jupiter to get a fresh set of clothes and see what she could salvage from her room and the ship. It was many hours later Theo and Kat returned, and they were able to use both Chariots to drive the Moltke family and friends to the colony.

I only suggest that because from the top post of the OOC thread we have the layouts of the Jupiters (shown below) and the chariots, as are all their rooms with their personal items are on the lower level which would be pretty well flooded by now. We may say much of it can be salvaged, but not easily. I'm suggesting this as it makes it more difficult for the Moltke family to tell the colony to go to hell when they tell them about the breeding program and how it will affect their family.

I believe it was planned to send all 3 colony chariots back for the rest of the family and anything that could be salvaged. I'd say they would get everyone to the relative safety of the main colony and then think about what major equipment could be salvaged later. (Doesn't need to be played out, just that they won't have much more than some soggy clothes and a few supplies when they are presented with the breeding program conditions at the colony.)

I'm fine with saying everyone is together, but it would be the next day in game time.

I see a few options (there may be others so feel free to suggest) for how to introduce the Moltke family to the breeding program IC (In Character). This would be sort of the high drama point of saying, oh by the way, to stay in our colony you all gotta breed.

Option #1: Large Group Open Meeting in the IC thread with a quick over view of the breeding program. Everyone just sort of hashes it out.

Option #2: Small group, we split the new arrivals between the 3 chariots and drivers (Kat, Maureen, and Theo) and each group talk it out. (Greta and Axel would likely learn from Judy.)

Option #3: Kids and Adults, we have several adults talk to the Moltke parents and the more adult members of the family. The kids either learn it from the other kids or parents tell them. This would be a bit more sequential.

I'd like to pick an option by about this time tomorrow so we can get you all started. In the meantime, you are welcome to discuss scene ideas among yourselves and start something if you have ideas. You may start new threads in our sub-forum but do try to have them make sense name wise. Any questions let me know.

Sorry. The group, less Greta @AndNich123 and Axel (possibly Erik @Devil in the Details will need to spend the night. You are welcome to continue the thread as you like. I have presented options above for incorporating the newcomers into the story and introducing them to the breeding program.

I did manage one more post of being inside the ship at the rescue. The post kind of reflects how the whole scene went for me. It happened around me, while I felt fixed in time.

For those of you who don't know, I basically work two jobs. So posting can be hard for me. I try to write when I'm on my lunch break and post it when I get home. It doesn't always happen. The post I just put up, I actually did today on lunch. I work full time at The Home Depot. Yeah. The place with all the tools and heavy cans of paint. lol. The rest of my time seems to be spent helping my family. This year I have only had three days off. That means three days where I didn't go to work and my family didn't need me. Three days. Not in a month. For the whole year. I love my job, and I love my family, but my time is stretched between so much. I'm not telling you this to make you feel sorry for me. Not at all. You're understanding, on the other hand, is something I really need. Every time I would look at the thread, I got ideas for what I wanted to do with Greta, but then I didn't write, for whatever reason, and the thread kept moving. So I don't hold that against anybody. Time moves on. Just please be understanding if I take a while to post. Thanks.
