Jin had always sat on her own at lunch, eating food from home that she had prepared herself, which surprisingly was only broth and a bread roll. It was a strange lunch, one that almost seemed like something a prisoner would eat at a maximum security prison, and not something an Heiress to a prestigious lineage of Ghoul Investigators would eat. She didn’t look up from her meal when he sat down, only continued to eat in silence like he wasn’t even there, her expression completely blank. Her eyes though, her eyes were different.
