Katerina woke in a dark, cold room. Her bare feet were freezing against what felt like cold tile. She had only been wearing light pjs after the shower, shorts and a tank, barely enough to keep her warm. Marcus and Raven recognizes her immediately and relaxed, “don’t attack boys. We can trust her.”

Marcus stepped up and ushered her deeper inside the warehouse, “the alphas sister is safe for now. Don’t worry we have her locked up so she can’t hurt herself. It’s not what you think Terra. He brought her over to a makeshift table which was simply a wooden board on top of a crate, and let her take one of the six chairs around it, Raven sitting on one side of her and Marcus the other. Both took a second then smiled.

“It’s been a while Terra.”

“Yeah we’ve missed you Cap. Best fighter there was.”

“A shame isn’t it? All that training and fighting for nothing? Alex wants you to just put up your boots and retire.”

Raven shook his head, “he’s not thinking straight Cap. He’s going to get innocents hurt. Pups. Wolves. All of them.”

Marcus nodded, “we actually hoped you’d come find us one day. You can help us now Terra. We aren’t planning to hurt the girl. We just want to scare Alex.”

“To remind him it can’t all be peace and roses. That he needs to protect his pack.”

Marcus leaned in, “its a foolproof plan Cap. We made sure, just like you taught us. No gaps in our strategy, no failures. We stole some memorabilia from the rival pack that helped that asshole who got Kyra killed.”

Raven growled, “they helped the bastard kill his own people and walked away cleanly because Alex didn’t have the right amount of proof to condemn them. It was a crime Terra. But now he’ll have to listen. He’ll think they kidnaped Katerina.”

“And after that he’ll reinstate the Hell hounds. We will be at war again. We can serve justice to those that killed our teammates and got away. We can protect our pack before they get hurt.”

“Well even come back Terra. We will swear ourselves to the alpha again if it means sinking our teeth into a new battle. And the girl won’t know a thing. We will make her belief to the very end it was them who kidnaped her.”

“We’re only telling you this cuz we trust you Cap. We wouldn’t tell any other hound that walked in. But we know you. Your like us. You need the fight. The blood. You know what Alex is doing is idiotic. You know like us he’s going to get the whole pack murdered if we don’t open his eyes.”

“Cmon Terra? What do you say? Help us. We will be hero’s. The hounds that saved the alphas sister. They’ll put us on the frontlines for the battle. It’s foolproof. She doesn’t even know where she is. And there’s not a scratch on her we promise. If you say yes, we can show you where she is.”
 
Everything about this plan did sound fool proof, but if she'd learned one thing about her time as a Hell Hound, nothing was fool proof and Marcus especially had a habit of letting his ego get the better of him. It'd gotten him into trouble more than once, he was confident and egotistic, besides Terra, not many Lycan could beat him in a fight and it went to his head. So he'd make a plan, it would be fool proof BUT, he'd screw it up by getting too cocky. Raven was a good soldier and he was the youngest of the group. He saw Marcus as sort of a mentor and since it fed Marcus's ego, he accepted him with open arms. When Marcus left, Raven left with him without a second thought. Raven was a skilled fighter as well and a beautiful tactician BUT he let Marcus's demands rule over his strategy. Rubbing her face she wanted to join this fight and she certainly wanted to get revenge for Kyra on the masterminds behind her death.

Standing up she looked at Raven.
"Let me see her."
Raven looked at Marcus, who just nodded. Walking her towards a large metal door they opened a viewing panel and as light poured into the room, Terra saw Kat. She was bruised up, shaking as the room was very cold and the look of fear was clear and present on her face. Shutting the slide Terra stood there. The light flooding the room would have blinded Kat and not let her see who was looking at her since she was trapped in a dark room. Yes no kidnapping ended with the victim being completely unharmed but that look on her face.

After having seen it in her nightmare, Terra wasn't convinced. Walking back to the table Terra sighed as she looked at Raven and Marcus.
"I love both of you...you're brothers to me which is why I'm going to say this. Marcus, your plan is a good one...but your ego and your confidence are going to ruin it as they always do with all of your plans. You're going to get cocky when the plan is working and you're going to fuck it up like you always do. Your ego is your weakness. Raven. You're a brilliant tactician but you're attached to Marcus's heel and when he wants to change things to make it more fun for him, you go along even though you know in the back of your mind that it's stupid."
Looking at the other wolves in the room she spotted one that she really didn't like. It was the pup who'd tried to rape Kat in the first place. Narrowing her eyes on the male she growled.

"You've collected strays who have never seen combat, who have never been trained to fight and who all think they're strong because they're males. You also said she was unharmed...I saw quite a bit of bruising on her...and her face. While I know you two didn't do it...I bet I know who did. So I'm going to have to say no."
Marcus and Raven both looked stunned but as they stood up Terra leveled dangerous eyes on them.
"You two can't take me on when I'm this pissed and you know it. You want a war...you'll get a personal one if you step up to me right now Marcus. I'm in no mood. These pups behind me aren't a match for me and you know it."
He also knew that in the case of a fight, she'd ignore the pups and go straight for the main threats. Removing the two Hell Hounds from the fight would remove authority and the pups would be helpless.

"So. How's about you and your strays run. I won't mention this to Alex out of respect for you two. You strays leave with them. If I catch you back at the Estate I'll kill you myself. Marcus...Raven. Don't make me come after you two. You're like family to me...but..."
Looking at the door she then looked back at them.
"When it comes to my mate and my pup...I'll slaughter both of you."
 
Katerina was suddenly hit with blinding light. She had to close her eyes, having just adjusted to the dark, unable to see a thing. Someone was here. Trying to pull on the chains and rope holding her she tried to call out against the gag, shaking and fighting. Terra! Terra find me!

The pups wanted to fight. They were growling and snarling but they were hesitant, watching Marcus and Raven. The veterans of this kind of thing. But when they didn’t immediately say anything to Terra, Marcus’ ego trapping him between his plan and his respect for Terra and Raven waiting on his word, one of the eager pups tried to make a run at Terra. He went full tilt at her, ready to lunge, when they all heard it. The howl. Her howl.

“Step down,” Marcus yelled at the pups but it was too late for the one running. Not that he’s hurt Terra. He was going too fast and the howl had distracted him so he tripped up, ending up sliding into her feet, looking like an idiot. The other pups looked away, ready for him to get torn to pieces.

The howl held on for minutes, full of fear and yearning for Terra, calling out to her. Wolves howled to indicate position. Katerina was trying to call Terra to her. And it was so loud it could be heard outside the warehouse, for a mile in any direction.

“Step down,” Marcus repeated, backing up quickly from Terra. That kind of call from a mate could invoke a rage in their mate that no wolf wanted to get in the way of. As they turned tail and ran as Terra offered, Katerina’s howl ended then restarted, calling for help.
 
Terra's pupils dilated as she heard the wolf coming toward her and as she turned to meet him the howl made her skin tighten as she felt a sudden burst of rage. The wolf at her feet was snatched up like a new toy and held tight by the back of his neck. In human form, he was weak.
"I don't give second chances pup."
She growled as a quick flick of her wrist snapped the base of the pup's spine to his skull. In human form, that was a killing blow and she dropped the pup's lifeless body at her feet as she looked at the others daring someone to step into arms reach. When they ran she looked at Raven more than Marcus.
"You be good Rave...even if you and I aren't on the same side...I'm still proud of the wolf you've become."

"Go. I'm not going to give you another shot at leaving Marcus."
When he ran, Raven followed. Terra then ran for the door and smashed through it, filling the room with light as she gripped the lock holding the chains and yanked it off. Tossing the chains she pulled Kat into her arms and stroked her back.

"I'm here Katerina...it's me, Terra."

She was about to shift into her wolf form to try and give Kat some heat to soak up when seven other Hell Hounds ran into the ware house, Bear and Peters being in the group. Terra opened her mind to Bear and Peters only.
'We need to talk after this...it stays between us.'
Bear and Peters agreed then Terra focused her attention back on Kat. Rubbing her arms with the blanket to try and get some feeling back into them while keeping her eyes on Kat's to let her see and hear that she was there.

The other five Hell Hounds set up a perimeter around the building as well as looked at the dead pup. No one asked questions yet as getting Kat home was the number one priority and while they could carry her back, someone had phoned Alex and he was sending a limo and two healers along to get her and keep her warm.
 
Light flooded into the room and Katerina stopped howling, her head snapping to the door, expecting her captors to be coming in to shut her up. But as her eyes adjusted again she saw a much better sight.

“Terra!” She gasped, her heart thudding with relief as the chains broke and she keened forward into her arms, shaking like a leaf, “Terra I was so scared. They came from the window and I fought but I couldn’t let them...I could have them touch... Terra I’m...”

She was trying to say it but her teeth were chattering so hard she could barely get it out. She could hear more wolves coming within earshot, see Bear shift with a blanket in his arms and had to wait. When she heard news of Alex sending a car and healers she gulped hard. She had to tell Terra before the healers looked her over. They would find out.

Shaking in her arms and shivering in the blanket she tugged Terra close, resting her head on her shoulder to get even warmer. Her eyes couldn’t see any of the Hell Hounds now patrolling the perimeter and took her chance.

"Well...least we know I'm fertile now. So that's why you were throwing up so much...now we just need to figure out how to tell your brother."
As the limo pulled up Bear and Peters agreed on letting Terra ride with Kat as she was the best fighter and they'd follow behind in wolf form to make sure no one was following them. Once in the limo and on the way home, one of the older healers was tending to her wrists and ankles while the other was focusing on hydrating Terra as well as keeping her warm. Terra had put Kat on her lap so the healers could still reach her while she was able to hold and comfort her.

She explained Marcus's idea, that Raven was behind him and that they were planning to frame the rival pack for that kidnapping.

Peters and Bear were both in awe and pissed about the idea as well as the fact that their own would turn against them but at the same time, Marcus was a hard wolf to like. His ego was his biggest flaw and it made for a lot of tension since he liked to be the center of attention. With the three of them having knowledge of this, they agreed that for now, they'd keep it under wraps. Alex would obviously be told but they only wanted a select few to know about it. Walking with Bear and Peters, Terra found Alex beside Kat and sighed.

"Alex. I have something to tell you that doesn't leave this room."
Alex looked at Terra and the others then nodded. Terra then explained who it was that had actually kidnapped Kat and why. When she was done talking Alex just stood there for a moment thinking.
"This isn't over is it?"
"No. Marcus's pride was hurt. He's going to be looking for a way to fix that. Raven is with him and if he's smart, he'll listen to Raven...which means it's going to be an actual good idea."

Bear and Peters agreed and informed Alex that while activating all Hell Hounds would be a bad move at the moment, maybe secretly activating the recon teams would be best so that way they had eyes and ears on the movements.
"Raven and Marcus are gonna be laying low for now, but give it a few months and I'm sure we're going to see something change."
Alex nodded then looked at Terra.
"I want you in charge of the re-activated Hounds."
Terra nodded then looked at Kat.
"Oh...I'm planning on officially mating your sister."

Peters and Alex both looked shocked then Alex chuckled as he nodded.
"I was hoping that would happen."
He said as he smiled and moved so that Kat and Terra could be close to one another.
 
When Terra reappeared Katerina was sleeping on a bed as the healers moved about, her hand in Alex’s. If she had died he would be an only child. Kat's little information bomb shocked everyone in the room as Bear smiled and laughed, lifting Terra in a big hug as Peters chuckled and Alex just kissed his sister's forehead.
