It was late into the evening and rain had begun to fall from the darkened skies. The moon was hidden by a blanket of dark clouds. One young woman in a cloak ran through the darkness without faltering. First odd thing was the fact that a fancy black gown of lace swept about her legs as she ran. There were no shoes upon her feet, which was the first another thing that was weird. Yet, she moved near soundlessly with graceful movements that no regular woman should possess. The cobblestones were cold against her feet but she couldn't let that stop her. Her instincts were riding her hard to flee and that's just what she did deeper into the city. How far she ran... How long... she had no idea but it wasn't until the lightning cracked overhead and the thunder sounded that she panicked. Fear drove her on now and she went door to door trying to find one that was unlocked and some shelter from the storm. It wasn't until she got to one that she found a window partially open, that she pushed it open and slipped inside.

No one seemed awake. She couldn't see anyone. Couldn't hear anyone. She'd just... Another thunderclap sounded and a small scream left her mouth before she clapped a hand over her lips trying to stifle it. With wide eyes darting about, she searched for some place to hide. There a small closet. She opened the door and swept inside quickly huddling down in the corner with her knees drawn to her chest as she faced down her fear of the storm and of being discovered. She just had to wait for the storm to pass and she'd move again, right? So, she just had to be brave for a little bit longer. That's all. Although, the pain was radiating throughout her body. The scent of blood was teasing her nostrils making her blanche. Somewhere, through the storm, she passed out. Whether it was sleep or a complete blackout, the woman would never know. All she knew was fear, pain and exhaustion at the moment.

Kaze sat at his desk, as he was working on a file that he had for a while, the man was a former spy and scout and worked for the local lord in a lot of cases. He had taken his time away from that job recently and gone into teaching. He found it a better long term job as he knew that a life of a spy would not be a long one. He also liked teaching and working as he was rather good at it. He was good enough to avoid getting in trouble in fact as he worked teaching the youth of the city in all the basic subjects. He still knew his former profession and was still in great shape keeping that way cause one never knew when one would be in danger for some reason.

He heard the sound of the boards creaking down stairs, and as he headed down to check it out the source of the sound of the noise or what he thought was the noise. He headed down but he soon smelt blood, he knew the smell well as he was a warrior and killed a number of people in his life. He headed to the source and found the beautiful neko. He picked her up and carried her to a room where he worked at dressing her wounds. He knew first aid and then a bit more. It wasn't hard to treat her, but he was sad to see someone like her so harmed. He made sure that she would recover and that she would be fine in time. He put a blanket over her and went to bed himself keeping close enough to keep an eye on the young lady.

Long lashes slowly lifted from her eyes, she felt warm, which was nice, very nice. Her ears flicked lazily against her hair. Where... where was she? Lifting her arms over here head, she stretched languidly curling her fluffy tail about her thighs. Violet colored eyes looked about curiously. She was in a bed. That... that was the first concern. There was someone else in the bed and that made her near panic. Oh no! She'd been found. Scooting backward, she tried to move as carefully as she could until she slipped out of the bed with a rustle of her skirt about her legs.

Those ears of hers were flat against her hair as worry and fear clouded her mind. Her arms though... they were bandaged where the cuts were along her wrists. Why and who had done that? She'd tried to bandage them with cloth along the way but she hadn't had much time to do a very good job. Nor was she in the right frame of mind with terror riding her. Swallowing lightly, she crept back toward the doorway trying not to wake him. That way she could slip back outside and run again.

Long ago Kaze stop being a heavy sleeper, it just wasn't a useful skill and never helped anyone in his former line of work. He woke up with the movement of the bed, as he slipped out quickly to his feet as he turned towards the bed, remembering that he had helped the female the night before. He looked at her standing on the otherside of the bed., his eyes on her own eyes, his attention on her completely as he looked at her though the dim light of the room, the moon giving all the light though the window adjacent to the bed. She had gotten out of bed and was able to stand that was a good thing at least. He moved and blocked the door. He knew she might just take the window but he didn't think she would make that play at least not right away.

"Now, your in no condition to run, your body is swore, I am sure, your ribs hurt, your arm most likely hurts, and I am sure your ankle and left leg will hurt like hell when the adrenaline flowing though your body stops and the pain hits you," he said calmly. His voice was rather business like or analytical in its nature. It was also calm without any threat or anger in it as he looked at her. He stood with a pair of sleep pants on and nothing else, as he kept his eyes on her closely, his body posed to move if he needed to do so or to defend himself. "You body needs rest and to recover, it would be best if you calm down and lay back down. I will make you some tea to calm your nerves, and I will bring you some medicine for the pain that you will feel when you calm yourself down."

He looked at the woman keeping himself between her and the door as he figured she was in flight mode and wanting to get away. "I won't harm you, and you need my help. The name is Kaze, I am a simple teacher, and I know a fair bit of medicine and how to heal people," he said not lying but of course perhaps not telling the full truth as that was far from needed and would only cause serious problems at that moment and there was no need for that. He needed to calm her down and get her to relax. He needed to help her and well, he wasn't one to turn down someone who needed help. He had a lot of sins of his own to make up for and by helping others he could do a little but of that. Of course he knew there were to many ever to even get close, but it was worth a shot.

Those eyes of hers widened to see that she'd roused him and her ears flicked back further against her hair if that was possible. Drawing a deep breath, she took a step back unsure just what to do. Sure, her eyes darted toward the only other exit, the window, but this man had moved quickly. What were the chances that she'd beat him to it? Her heart hammered in her chest nervously like some caged bird. Her gaze was low not meeting his eyes directly mostly out of fear. The rest out of respect. Her body was shaking with very real fear. That emotion seemed to be all that she knew here lately. He'd tended to her? She glanced toward the bandages on her arms before taking another hesitant step back. He wouldn't hurt her? That was all humans seemed to do. How could she trust that?

Her eyes darted back about the room. There weren't any good places to hide and she really didn't want to take her eyes off of him long enough to really find a good spot. It sure seemed like she was stuck. With a sigh, she backed into a corner letting herself slide down into a sitting position as she drew her knees to her chest and watched him warily a moment. This was just something that she'd have to accept as she tried to make herself as small and as less of a threat that she could. There really wasn't a mean bone in her body and timidly, she closed her eyes figuring that she'd just wait and see what happened. It was rather obvious by the marks on her body that she'd been used and abused. The cuts on her wrists had been clumsily done as if the intention was there but the knowledge was lacking.

She was still a bit on the dirty side from her flight. Dirt still smudged on her cheeks and leaves caught in her hair making her look like some vagabond that just happened upon his home, which wasn't far from the truth. Of course, since her fur was white, that easily showed up and attracted every speck of dirt within a five foot radius. The cat girl glanced up toward the man. Kaze, was it? Teacher? Healer? A little curiousity shown in those violet eyes of hers and yet there was so much uncertainty along with fear. The fear was what shined the brightest and seemed to be how she lived her life was in that constant state. "Seven," she whispered softly and the startling thing was that her voice was beautiful. The sound so soft, just the right tone and pleasing to the ears. Not too surprising really as she'd been designed to be fully pleasing. "This one is called Seven." There was a little outreach or perhaps just a bone to keep her safe just a little longer. Just her name. Such a simple thing.

He knew that she was in rather bad shape, he had seen people like her before in her type of shape, and he knew that they were pretty bad injuries that she had on her. He heard her voice and smiled, glad that she would share her name. The sharing of names was the first sign of any type of trust and was a building block one that was going to be needed for her. He couldn't help but notice the name was a number. He figured she was the seventh experiment of sibling or child at a house where they used women like her for things that were wrong. He nodded his head "Now, Seven, remain, I shall get some tea and some medicine for you, you shall take these and then I shall prepare a bath for you," he explained to her as he stood up.

He moved quickly as he didn't know if she would run or not. This was her chance to escape and never return, but he would return with the warm herbal tea and pills for her pain. He moved quickly the need to get things ready quickly was driving his feet forward. He knew that if this woman ran, she would not have another chance to recover. That her fate would be locked in. He knew that he could at least give her a chance, and that he needed to help the white haired female. He moved elegantly as he made the tea quickly as he had some set aside for himself later. He grabbed the medicine from a basket that he had near the tea pot.

It was not long after that he returned and put the cup of tea on the nightstand and then he put the medicine in front of the cup and looked over to her hiding spot. "Now, take, you should be fine, I shall prepare a bath for you to clean up, and I shall leave some clothes that might fit you well enough in the bathroom to wear. You are safe here, I am not going to harm you, and you may relax and recover," he said calmly as he looked in her direction. The green haired teacher calm in the situation, as he was used to dealing with crazy stuff.

Kaze would be correct on his noticing that her name was a number and the probable meaning behind it. Her chin was resting just on her knees as she watched him warily never quite meeting his gaze. Stay? Medicine? A bath? Those were commands and frankly, that which she could recognize even if she may not want to. Those large eyes of hers drifted closed as he left the room and she fought with her training. She'd just escaped one prison and didn't want to get stuck in another. Even if they were directions, could she really simply ignore them and do as she wished instead? That was not what she was supposed to do though. She warred with herself on the idea of being obedient but it was something that she'd been bred and raised into. So, it was quite hard to simply be independent.

It must have been a bit of time that she'd deliberated over since she heard him return and her eyes opened with a snap. Oh, she'd missed her window of time. A soft sigh left her as she eyed him once more and the tea and meds that he'd brought along with more commands that her nature said to just go along with. It was a measure of her spirit by the fact that she considered his words before she made a move. If he was telling the truth, this may be a good situation. If he wasn't, well, would this be worse than what she'd come from? There was so much to consider. Her violet eyes did follow every move that he made though and after some careful consideration, she did reach for the teacup holding it in her hands and sniffing the steam coming off it. The sweet smell teasing her sensitive nose. Nothing seemed amiss and the cup was very warm in her hands. Why did she still feel very cold? A soft sigh left her as she just lingered enjoying holding the cup before at long last, she reached for the medicine and eyed it in her hand sniffing at it curiously. Would it really help? It may. Trying to be a good girl, she popped the pills in her mouth and swallowed them dry coughing a bit afterward before taking a sip of the tea with a little sigh. Her gaze found him once more feeling more curious than wary now even if it may be foolish on her part. She should've run when he'd gone to make the tea.

He looked at her and smiled as he knew that this woman most likely had never seen anyone smile at her or show her kindness at all. Kindness was something that was needed for the heart and soul. A lack of both would kill a person even if they were alive. He looked at her drink the tea and take the pills. He figured that in a hour or so she would be asleep again and she would be sleeping for a good while. "Now, come along with me, I am going to get a bath for you ready and you may change. When your done, I can change your bandages and we can let you sleep. You need a lot of sleep and time to recover," he said calmly as he looked at her.

"This house is always left alone and you will be safe here, no one looks in the house of a simple teacher for anything. Especially a poor teacher like myself," he said calmly as he looked at the white haired woman and then soft green eyes focused on her. He picked out some old clothes of his, that would work for her, rather a shirt and some boxers that would work for her as he put them on a counter in the bath. He prepared the bath, nice and warm for her. "Don't worry about the bandages, they can take water, they are used for heavy duty stuff," he said as they were leftovers he used from the past.

He left her in the bathroom. "You are a good girl and you can relax. I will be in the room you came from, when your done here, come back and lay down, you will be tired and hurting, sleep is good, your body need sleep to recover," he explained to her as he stepped back and then left her to the bath. He wondered when the last time that she took a bath. He figured she had a hard life and that she would be assumed to be dead, given her injuries she was not going to be missed by whom ever had her before she escaped. He kept a knife on him though as he knew that he needed to be safe and needed to keep an eye out for problems.

Seven ducked her head some at his smile. All that she'd seen were cruel smiles and that usually meant something bad was going to happen to her here shortly and yet, nothing immediately did. In fact, she looked again and he appeared different than what she was used to. It left her wondering curiously. She sipped at her tea thoughtfully enjoying the fact that it made her feel warm inside. It was such a soothing feeling and yet, she had to be on guard too. Listening to him and watching him move about the room, she was hesitant to move from her spot there in the corner even if it did press the healing wounds on her back against the wall painfully.

After a bit though, she got up and followed him cautiously as if expecting something bad to happen. Safe? She questioned the word. She'd never felt safe before in her entire life. What exactly did it feel like? She wasn't sure of the answer and when he slipped by her to leave the bathroom, she watched him go. Those ears of hers slowly lifted from her hair catching a few words of his from the other room. She didn't even think to close the bathroom door as she looked about the bathroom curiously and took the last few sips of that tea. It was a bit saddening to her that it was gone but she carefully set the cup down on the counter beside the clothes. Her tail slowly dropped from about her waist to flick behind her amiably. She glanced out the door toward him considering.

Then she reached behind her and untied her dress letting the dress and corset fall to the floor before she stooped to pick it up, fold it and put it aside. If Kaze looked, he'd see there was no hair on her body save for that on her ears, head and tail. She was a bit on the thinner side with her ribs easily seen. Yet, her body was pretty to look at despite the bruises that she'd gotten from her running away, the marks on her wrists that he'd bandaged and what were apparently whip marks on her back, which were pretty stark and angry to see now that her dress had fallen but they looked older, perhaps a day or so since they weren't freshly bleeding.

When confronted with the bath, she eyed the water for a bit before approaching it and lightly touching the surface with her hand. Bath? This wasn't like the bucket and cloth that she was used to. Tilting her head to the side, she considered it longer. This meant getting into the water completely, didn't it? Hesitantly, she stepped one foot in blinking at the warmth of the water before bringing her other foot in before she sank down into the water with a rather soft sigh. The warmth. It was so nice and made her worries seem less. She reached out for a bar of soap and a cloth and worked at cleaning her body. It was so nice to feel clean and really, she'd never felt as clean as this before and she lingered in the water feeling her eyes grow heavy. No, she shouldn't fall asleep here. That wasn't what she was told to do. Yet, it was so warm and she was so tired still. How could she resist? Those eyes of hers closed and she slipped off right there in the tub. Oh dear.

Kaze waited on her for a good dozen or so minutes before he slipped inside and looked at the tub. He knew that this woman was beautiful and he knew that she was undersized and that she was to hurt at the moment. He blushed thinking what she would look like when she wasn't in the dire state she was in that moment. That was a goddess of beauty. The green haired young man stood there for a good moment or two as he saw her asleep in the tub. He knew the medicine would kick in and put her to sleep and it had. He was careful as he picked her up and dried her off before putting her in his bed once again to sleep.

He had dealt with many naked women and beautiful women in his life, his former life required such actions, but that was a lifetime before and well he had put those actions behind him. He covered her up and went to work, that morning. He figured she would sleep in late, most likely till the afternoon at least. He would find her when he got back. He left some food out in his kitchen that was rather basic. Some bread and some cheese to nimble on. He was going to work and earn his pay, as a local teacher. He worked teaching all ages the basics that they would need for the world from language to math, to how to build things like bird houses and farm tools.

He would head back at lunch as it was a early day, the students needed to work in the fields to help out. He brought back a good lunch as he carried two bowls of soup and put them on the counter when he entered his small home. He looked around for the neko. He wondered if she had ran, it was possible, she seemed the type to run at the first chance, but he also knew that she would need a place to not be harmed at and she would know that she wouldn't be harmed here. He looked around not sure where he would find the young woman at. He thought though she might be asleep still.

The cat girl didn't stir at his coming to fetch her out of the tub. She did murmur something unintelligible but for the most part, she relaxed and slept on looking rather peaceful with the worry gone from her face. She'd curled up under the covers enjoying the warmth of that too and the fact that she didn't dream. No nightmares. Nothing just a blank sleep that made her feel at ease and rested. In fact, it was so deep that she didn't hear him leave nor stir at all.

Time passed and Seven didn't stir. Not once. It seemed that she had quite a bit of sleep to catch up on as she was still burrowed warmly under that blanket. Her eyes did sleepily open looking about in a bit of surprise to find herself in that bed once more. How strange. This was twice now. She glanced about the room curiously not worried about the fact that she was naked at all. In fact, it was a rather natural state for her and she'd never learned shame of her body. Getting up to stand, she was reluctant to leave the warmth of the covers but it was probably best for her to have an idea of what was going on. With her arms over her head, she stretched and her tail curled behind her before those marks on her back complained at getting stretched, which made her wince and whimper.

A soft sigh left her as she ran her fingers through her hair in a way to neaten it up before trailing back into the bathroom and pulling on those clothes that she'd been told to. The shirt hung to mid-thigh on her making her tilt her head to the side curiously before shrugging. She wasn't going to complain at all. Now, the question was, what should she do? Where was Kaze? Was now a good time to slip away?

Her bare feet were quiet as she slipped down the stairs and she could see the front door. Walking up to it, she put her hand on the latch and the thought of just where she should go came up. What would she do? Kaze had been kind to her and looked after her but of what benefit was his helping her to him? It didn't make any sense. She must be burdening him and that was something that she couldn't do in the face of his being nice to her. She pushed on the latch determined to make her way outside when she heard a noise behind her. She turned and leaned back against the door spying the man in the kitchen. Oh... oh, what should she do? A little bit of panic settled through her body and she almost opened the door until a scent hit her nose. Food. He had food. Her stomach growled right there loudly betraying just where she was. Now, she was second-guessing leaving because he had food and she very, very much wanted some. Even if just a little but wasn't that taking advantage once more and no one did anything without some benefit for themselves.

Where the hell was she. He looked around for a moment as he opened the door and saw her naked in front of him as she hadn't left. He figured she might, but she hadn't which was a good thing. "Now, let us head and get some food. You don't need to leave and you are welcome to stay, it is good to have someone to talk to when I am home, and you should put some clothes on at some point," he said softly as he looked at her. "Now, I hope you don't mind a good potato soup, it was rather cheap, and is good, and filling. He motioned her to follow him to the kitchen where the soup was ready and he poured two cups of tea.

He sat down. "Come along now," he said firmly as he looked at her, his eyes focused on her as he took a bite of the white soup the potato and cheese went together so well the flavor and taste of the two went well together. He leaned back and smiled. "Now, when you are back to healthy, I need, you to heal up and leave in better shape than you are. I won't let you leave until you healthy, as a man I can't allow that," he said firmly as he looked at her. "Give up this idea of running away, I need you to remain and recover. I won't let you hurt yourself needlessly, Seven," he meant business and his words and his tone told that.

He took a deep breath as he looked at her, "you have been treated badly, and it is time to change that and to help make a happy health, good person out of you," he added as he returned to his meal. He was confident that she was going to stay, he hoped that he could heal her. He felt like if he could help her heal that he would be able to look in the mirror in the future and feel better about himself as a whole. He knew this wasn't about him, but for him it was to some degree. He had to make up for sins past and this was a way to help make up for those sins.

Seven

Oh, that hadn't quite worked as she'd planned but Seven had little experience in sneaking about nor in trying to escape. It was luck that had gotten her out of her previous situation. She watched him warily and yet, he was offering her food and a place to stay. None of this made any sense to her but she did walk cautiously after him watching him sit down and get a spoonful of soup. Hesitated, she watched feeling her mouth water and yet, she stayed back still listening in uncertainty. How could she stay? He was making her his problem. Yet, he spoke with authority and her training said that she should listen even if she was scared of the possibility. Timidly, she nodded her head.

It wasn't long before she was glancing between the other bowl of soup and him. Was that for her? She supposed that it was and cautiously reached for the bowl as she knelt on the floor quietly and took a sip. Oh, oh it was so good. An expression of pure bliss passed over her features as she ate quietly beside him there on the floor. Her tail curled about her knees like a good girl. She'd never had anything that tasted quite this good before and she was thankful. So very thankful. It softened her and made her more open to interacting with him beyond just listening as she'd been doing.

"Why?" Came her soft and gentle question and it'd actually been really hard to ask that. Why had it been hard? Because it questioned his authority but in all reality, she just wanted to understand. Know why he was making this effort when he probably should return her to her master or turn her out into the cold. Why stick his neck out for her especially if he did not have much of his own? "Why would you help this one?" She lifted her eyes to his for the briefest glance before she looked once more. She'd ate as much of that soup as she could. Sadly, it was only half the bowl but she wasn't used to eating much, just the scraps that she earned. Setting it on the table, she wondered if it would keep and she could have some more later. That would be a nice thing.

He thought about her question as he found it odd to have her eat on the floor. He would have to work on that and he would have to help her be more social. He paused as he thought about her question, it was simple and complicated. She was his way to atone for his errors and his crimes. She was innocent and needed protecting, he was good at that. He was far more than a simple teacher and he wanted to teach her. He thought of a number of answers, but all seemed kind of hallow and stupid. he couldn't think of a good answer for her as he looked at her and then he took a deep breath as he cleared his mind.

"Simple, Seven, because it is the right thing to do. That is the only reason why one needs to do something," he said to her as he let her eat on the floor. "Now, from now on eat at the table with me," he said putting the bowl on the table. He had ate his soup, as well, it was good, a bit heavy but good enough. He picked up her soup as he looked at her, "Now this soup shall be shared if you don't want any more, there is a normal cat who comes by and eats whatever left overs I give it, and this will make him and the other ally cats happy," he said to her as he put the bowl outside.

"I have some chickens out back, I feed them before I head to work, so we should have good eggs while you are here, I am sure you never had those, but they are very good," he explained as he looked at her. "Now, you need to get dressed and well I need to read some papers and grade them," he explained to her as he looked at her on the floor. "You I guess are my project, think of it as that, I want to see how you are when you have healed and recovered, I want to see how much of a woman or goddess you are in that situation," he said calmly as he carried the bowl out and put it by the door, so the cats who came nearly right away would eat it, they kept the mice out of the area and well were needed.

Seven

The right thing to do? What exactly did that mean? What made it right to help her? Where was the gain for him? Although, she didn't have long to consider that when he told her that she should eat at the table. Her ears flicked back along her hair. That seemed awfully bold. She was used to the floor. It was her place after all. The uncertainty flashed across her face and she looked down unsure. It wasn't long before she heard him mention that her leftovers would go to another cat. Huh? But... she'd wanted more of that later. She stood following him as he put the bowl outside the door watching the little cats come and eat. It was strange but she didn't feel so bad now that she wouldn't have it later. In fact, she crouched down on the floor and reached out a hand toward the cats. They were busy with the soup and yet, each one stopped to look at her before leaving the food to come up to her and obediently, they sat before her. Lightly, she reached out and petted them sweetly and both cats leaned up into her touch with loud purring before returning to the soup. A soft smile touched upon her face as she lingered watching them. Perhaps... perhaps this is what he meant when he said doing the right thing. It felt good to share with others in need. Was that how he felt?

Her eyes still on the feral cats, she heard him mention the chickens and looked toward him curiously. "What are chickens?" She asked. "What are eggs?" With one more stroke over the cats, she stood. "This one will try not to be any trouble, sir." She really didn't want to be any of that especially if she was going to stay like it seemed that he wished. She wondered really as she tried to figure all of this out. He wanted to see who she was? What was a goddess? She certainly wasn't a woman, those were over her too. Standing, her tail flicked behind her as she trailed to go find those clothes as he wished. They weren't hard to put on but his scent was on them and that she enjoyed. She found her way back to join him. Her large eyes curious as she knelt some distance away watching him and being what company that she could. "What is a teacher?" Seemed that she was full of questions. In the back of her mind, she worried that she'd get reprimanded over being so curious.

"A teacher is a person who helps those who are young and shows them a better way of living giving them skills that hey will need to make their lives better. Basically a person who will share his experience with those who need it and help them become better people and more complete people," he explained as he looked at her and gave her a small smile. "Now, chickens are animals like cats, they are small and are birds," he said getting up and leading her to the chicken coup as he let her see the chickens, "Chickens lay eggs every morning, well hens or female chickens lay eggs every single morning, and they are what we will eat," he explained to her as he let her look at the chickens. "Now being a teacher is also doing this, and answering questions sometimes."

He looked at her as he let her look around, the fence in his backyard was very high and gave them a great deal of solitude as he let her look around the area, there was a few chicks out and he had to put out food for them as he also was sure that she would learn a little bit more. He was sure that she needed to learn a lot and he was sure to help her learn the world around herself. He knew her education was nothing and that she was most likely not skilled in much of anything or trained. He went over and cleaned up some small part of his yard, the chickens were about all he had room for as well as a good chair to relax in as he would sit out here and think sometimes. He also had other unimportant things hidden around.

Seven

Seven was quite curious since he seemed open to answering her questions and that just encouraged her to be more curious. When he moved out of the room, she followed almost like a small child might. The chickens were interesting sorts as she watched them move about. "They have such an odd shape," she murmured since they seemed top-heavy. She glanced inside the door of the coop surprised to see some laying on piles of straw with some odd-shaped brown not really round things in them. Sniffing lightly, she tried to get a good scent off them before wrinkling up her nose. "They smell odd to this one." Just an all around odd animal.

She watched the chickens scratch and peck at the food with fascination forgetting for a moment her insecurities in the wake of learning. Her gaze traced to him. "This one seems to have lots of questions but you, sir, do not seem to mind." That was an odd thought for her to realize. She gazed up at the sky watching the clouds roll by as the sun slipped behind them. This was actually only her second time actually being outside. So everything was rather strange and new for her. Everything seemed so big and vast without ceilings to contain it. One of her hands reached up toward the sky curiously. "The ceiling is so high here." Well, that betrayed just how limited that her experiences had been.

He knew that she was kept from knowing anything as that would cause her to question her situation which would be bad for those who owned her and would use her body for fun or for beating as it seemed from looking at her. He looked over and nodded his head, "Yes, there is no ceiling, you can go as high as your dreams can take you. I have no clue how high that is, no man has ever been to the top of the sky," he explained as he looked over at her, "Their are animals who know the sky well, birds that fly far unlike our chicken friends," he said to her as he knew she was curious and he didn't mind that.

He took care of the small tiny garden he kept for fruits, some veggies and herbs, it was a half dozen planets but it was enough to give him extra food. He also needed things to do and this gave him a sense of something to do and something to take care of. He liked that a lot. He smiled as he looked at the neko. "Now at night you can see countless little stars of lights when it is not cloudy, and it is lovely," he explained calmly. "Now, I take care of them each day, and your welcome to come out here with me and spend time with the little ones," he commented as he sat down in his chair and relaxed. "I can even show you how you give food to the chickens and how to take care of them or how to help out around the yard if you want."

"Fly?" She looked up at the sky curiously. That's when a bird did happen to fly high over her head and she couldn't help but duck, her ears flicking back in uncertainty at the sight. Nothing happened to her though and she blinked slowly looking once more upward. That bird was moving away from them further up into the sky. Imagine there being no ceilings. It made her wonder even more.

His tending to the little plants drew her attention then and she walked a bit closer but not too close as she didn't want to be a nuisance. His mention of the lights above made her glance back upward. "There are lights up there?" She asked curiously and stared hard unsure since she didn't see much of anything beyond the clouds and the sun, which was hard to look at.

His mention of the plants and perhaps helping out here made her curious. "This one will learn to help, sir." She agreed pretty readily since that was better than just mooching off him. "This one is good at cleaning and cooking too." Seemed she had some skills. Just other areas were seriously lacking. She knelt down quietly in the grass watching him with the plants and one of the alley cats prowled up to her rubbing against her side purring loudly. A soft smile crossed her face as she reached out to pet the little fellow along his back. Her thoughts wandered a little. She had wanted out of her old life. Wanted something different. Was this the start of something new? It already felt wildly different. For one thing, she hadn't seemed to have upset Kaze once and that was odd. Typically, she did that with her master on a daily basis earning her some sort of punishment.

He looked at her as he was sure that she wold do fine. He didn't know that she had any skills and well the fact that she had skills that could be used was good. "Then that will be your job when I am out teaching, you can clean and if you want to cook that would be great. I don't know how to cook, I have to buy food in town each day so that I have food to live on and my cleaning is decent enough but having help there can't hurt anything," he said as he remained sitting in his chair now. He was sure that he could just take a nap here and enjoy the light of the beautiful sun in it beautiful sky above himself.

""Now, I don't have another bed so we will have to share one, and I prefer you not head out anytime soon so that you don't get found out to be with me, and I also want to get some clothes for you at some point, but till then please dress when around the house," he commented as he knew that having a naked beautiful woman was more than a bit distracting. He found her as beautiful as any woman he had ever seen. He was sure that she was the master she had wanted to see her naked as he would have constant eye candy and he was sure she was suppose to be skilled in sex to serve this man, and she might failed cause she got beat.

"Now, when your bored head inside and put the shorts and shirt I left for you to wear this morning. Then you may get used to the kitchen and how everything is laid out. I was going to just have bread and cheese for dinner, but if you want to try your hand at cooking in my kitchen go ahead, I won't get mad at anything you create," he said as he figured that having a good cook around would be very nice. As he sat there, he took a nap not worried about the neko and what she might do or what she might not do.

Seven

Seven was curious enough as she petted the little cat. Her eyes traced toward Kaze once more curiously. She was happy that she could help out somehow and looked forward to giving it a try. There was a bit of a shy smile on her face betraying that feeling of hers to be useful. That didn't sound like too bad of a thing to do either. In fact, it was much preferable to where she'd come from.

At his mention of only having one bed, her ears flicked back once more and she glanced down to the grass, where the small cat was still playing about her legs. "This one would not want to be in the way, sir. The floor is fine to find a spot to curl up out of the way." It was what she was used to, after all. Waking up in his bed, the first time was a bit of a shock to her besides the fact that it was an unrecognizable place to her. "And this one will stay out of sight and remain clothed as you wish, sir." She was pretty amenable to his requirements, it seemed since she was used to doing as she was told and behaving.

She was curious at his bidding to check out the kitchen and cook dinner for him. She would perhaps a little later since he'd seemed to have nodded off. Her large eyes watched him for a good long while tracing over his face and hair since it seemed okay to do so. Curiousity got the better of her and she walked closer one step at a time until she was beside him. He... he hadn't done anything to hurt her yet. That was why she'd been created. This kind treatment was odd and yet, peaceful. Why? Tentatively, she reached out and lightly, oh so lightly, touched his hair for the brief span of a heartbeat before she drew her hand back feeling like she was too bold to do that. She retreated after that a few steps toward the house.

Kaze didn't feel or notice Seven as she touched his hair, the young man woke up a bit later as he saw her moving towards the house though and got to his feet. He walked over, "Now, let me see what we have in my home," he said as he had a solid metal simple stove and oven in his kitchen and then he had a number of other things such as bread and fruit put away in the closet where he kept his food for keeping. Food naturally never lasted that long and he knew that it was not he good to count on it long, thus he kept only a small amount of food around so that it wouldn't go bad on him. He had the things to cook and he was given dishes sometimes by random nice females looking for his attention.

Kaze smiled as he looked at Seven, "I will trust you to figure out your way around, and let you made whatever you want to make," he commented as he would let her cook what she thought would work bed. He blushed firmly as he thought about her in an apron. He shook his head as he took a deep breath as he calmed himself, sometimes it was impossible to not notice her beauty oddly. He normally never noticed beautiful women as they just were part of the background or a target or someone he had to seduce for his job or whatever. It just never made him blush before like he was doing in that moment.

"Now, Seven, you will sleep on my bed with me, and you will not stay out of sight, you are to remain nearby when I am around. I want to have you close and like being near you, Sev," he said as he looked at her, "You are fun to be around and fun to show things to. I find that teaching you new things and seeing your reactions to them to be rather good," he said as he sat on a stool in the kitchen. He wondered a bit about her past, but he had a good idea of it, of the fact that she was just one of many like herself used for things that were rather bad. "Now, when I am away though, then stay low and relax inside, and clean or take a nap or play with a cat."

Seven

Seven looked back toward him when he stirred enough to follow her into the house. Did he worry still that she'd leave? The thought still flitted through her mind occasionally but she did feel comfortable enough to linger, at least, for now. What sort of word would she use to describe this feeling? Safe? It was honestly a word that she'd never used to describe her situation but her body didn't feel as tense as it was. What a strange feeling being at ease like this. In all honesty, she didn't mind Kaze's presence either now that she felt a little like he wouldn't hurt her.

Inside the kitchen, she looked about curiously as he rummaged about and said that she could look around. She did opening a few cabinets and seeing just what was available. It was odd but she'd never cooked for her master before. Nor had she been taught it by him. It was just something that she knew how to do, which seemed odd to think about and something that she felt like she'd enjoy. She was crouched down looking when he mentioned that she should sleep with him. Her ears flicked back feeling unsure but nodded lightly. He liked being around her. What a strange thought but she could do that, she supposed. "This one can do that." It was odd to agree to but if it was what he wanted and enable her to linger a little while longer in this peaceful environment, she'd agree.

She looked through the cabinets once more trying to find just what was available. There was just a bit of salted beef, a few potatoes along with the fruit. She wondered really and then got an idea pulling out the beef, potatoes and an apple of all things. Washing her hands before she washed off the potatoes and the apple, she happened to glance up at him and he was doing something curious. "Are... are you all right, sir?" She asked after him softly as her ears flicked back at being bold and speaking out of turn. Yet, she couldn't help but be concerned. "Your... your face was red." She glanced back down trying not to make a big deal out of it as she got out a bit of flour and mixed it with a bit of water making some dough before spreading it out flat. "Oh, I need to get the oven started," she mentioned off-hand as if it was some afterthought.

"It is red huh," he commented as he thought for a moment or two. It wasn't something that happened to him much, but he wasn't around a beauty like Seven much either. He figured that fact was a big reason as to why he looked rather read at that moment. He looked at her moving around the kitchen. He could tell right away that she knew her way around one and that she was truthful in her skills. He was happy to have someone who could cook around as it would make things a lot easier for himself and safe some serious money too. He also figured she was skilled at cooking and her food would taste good.

"Now, a person's face turns red when blood rushes to it, it is nothing to worry about, I am perfectly fine, and I am healthy, don't worry about me," he told her calmly as he sat there watching her prepare the meal. He walked over and lit the oven as it was not hard to do, putting a few small pieces of wood into the wood over to get it started. "Now there you go, I hope that helps you out," he commented as he stepped back and went to his place to sit down. He knew how to turn a oven on, but every time he tried to cook something he ended up burning the hell out of it. It was why he kind of gave up the idea of cooking completely.

He watched Seven and wondered if someone was looking at claiming her back and taking her to the old life she had. He figured it was possible, but it was also possible she was given up for dead as she was almost dead when he found her. He would need to keep an close eye on things and watch his back a bit more. He would have to keep his ears open as to hear anything that might happen to cause them trouble. He knew that if he could spot trouble ahead of time he could handle it fast. He also knew that being prepared was natural to him as it was his former life when he always had to watch his back for other reasons.

The cat girl was very curious over the fact that his face had been red. It certainly wasn't something that she saw on her master before. So, she'd questioned it before trying to busy herself and not make too much of a fuss. It felt good to be smooth out the dough but it didn't seem quite right. So, she put some flour on her hands kneading the dough patiently to get the right consistency before she remembered the stove. Her mentioning it aloud was more to remind herself and deliberate whether it was worth interrupting her progress with the dough to light it.

Kaze's answer to her concern felt a little like a brush off and she was timid enough not to ask too much further into it as she didn't want to make him uncomfortable as long as he was all right. She wouldn't wish him harm. Although, he solved two issues for her by answering her question and lighting the stove for her. That... that was thoughtful of him. "Thank you, sir," she said quietly unsure of what to do with this added kindness. It wasn't like she'd been helped out with any of her work before. Why did preparing food feel so familiar to her hands? It's like they knew what to do without her having to think it. Her master had never had her cook for him. So, how did she know how? It didn't make sense. Yet, she was confident that she knew what she was doing. The funny thing that she didn't even notice was the fact that she'd started humming to herself as she moved about the kitchen like she was already very familiar with where everything was.

That happy little tune of hers continued on softly. Smoothing the dough flat, she put it into a pie plate that she'd found and trimmed off the edge with a knife before dicing some of the meat, potatoes and apples. She'd sniffed out some dried garlic hiding in the cabinet that still seemed good and a bit of ale in a flask. At least, her nose was useful here. In a pan, she set the potatoes to cook until they were a bit softer and less starchy before joining the meat in there to brown with the ale and garlic. Once, it was browned, she put that along with the chopped apples into the pie crust and covered it with a pie crust over the top using a fork to knit the two pieces of dough together along the edges of the plate. A few slits on the top to vent and she put it in to cook in the oven with a sigh. There was a look of satisfaction on her face like she'd just accomplished what she'd set out to do. "This one hopes that'll turn out all right." She kept an eye on it with her nose. "Do you like pie, sir?"
