"I know but you will get better soon and then it won't suck as much" they had started hydrotherapy to help the muscles in the legs to rebuild before they moved to traditional therapy.
 
"Yeah I know.... But it is still going to take forever." Eric spoke with a small sigh. Soon enough the driver was telling them there were a number of fast food places around, they could just go through drive through to get some food. Or they could stop somewhere to eat. "Just go through a drive through. I don't care where."
 
"not forever the doctor said about a year Eric and then you will be able to walk without assistance and even run" Talai then told the drive to go through the nearest KFC
 
"I hope so. But that still seems like such a long time." Eric sighed after a moment in time before he was leaning back in the seat.
 
"I know Eric when you can't live normally time seems to slow down but it will be over soon" Talia smiled but avoided touching him since she didn't know where all he hurt
 
Four months had gone by and the girls were setting up for the twins twenty-first birthday. Talia had managed to convince the two to go and do some shopping while they set everything up before they returned. standing next to her with the help of some motorized braces that they had built together was Eric they braces was helping with his rehab as it got him up and walking without the added stress on his knees but also kept the muscles from going weak. Talia still fought with him about his normal rehab since it would take several hours for the pain to fade. in the four months since they had gone on vacation Talia and Airie had taken out several groups that were trying to knock them out of power while strengthening their bods with their allies. Talia looked at Isaiah and Camille when they walked in and spoke: "please tell me the girls cars are perfect and are ready for them." Talia had helped with some of the repairs but not as much as she would have liked.
 
"Of course they are ready and perfect. Fully customized and protected. Not to mention in their favorite colors. Just put on the finishing touches earlier today." Camille spoke after a moment in time before she was giving a faint chuckle, and leaning against Isaiah.
 
Isaiah wrapped his arm around her he had asked not to be there but she had told him no large groups still caused flashbacks at the worst times and this party from what he could tell was going to be more than a little big
 
Camille was turning towards him for a moment before she was giving him a kiss on the cheek before she spoke, "You can go back to the apartment if you want. I'll let you know if the twins liked the cars or not." She was looking over as the door opened and Airie came into the room, her fiery red hair flying behind her although at the time she seriously looked only half awake. Probably because she had been dealing with another situation while Talia had been setting up for the party. "Lizi and Shaun are on their way with the cake." Airie spoke after a moment in time.
 
Talia nodded her head "good then all we need is for the guest to arrive and then the girls" Talia looked at Isaiah and then looked at Camille "we prepared a neutral room for him should he have an episode while here"
 
"Do remember that he really didn't want to be here though. We can't really force him to stay here." Camille added after a moment in time then looked over at Airie who was going over to hold the door open for Lizi as she came in carrying the cake.
 
"I know but I also know you two have been working on reintroducing him to gatherings like this and you know we won't force him to stay if he doesn't want to" Talia had made the preparation just in case but if he didn't want to stay they wouldn't make him
 
Camille just looked over towards Isaiah for a moment before she was speaking to him softly, inquiring if he wanted to stay for a little bit, that he could leave whenever he wanted. Airie just went over and sat down on one of the chairs, crossing one leg over the other.
 
Isaiah smiled at her "Camille don't worry we have been working on this and if things get out of control for me I will give you the sign we worked out and we can either leave or go to a neutral zone for me to calm down"
 
Camille was giving a small nod of her head before she spoke, 'Alright, if that is what you want to do."
 
"it is beside it would be rude of me not to show up for at least a little bit" Isaiah then leaned down and kissed her lightly cupping her cheeks in his hand "now after the girls party I do have a surprise for you" Isaiah had managed to find and buy the only remaining model of a car she had been talking about for the last four months and it was their to repair and make beautiful once again
 
Camille giggled before she was giving him a soft kiss back before she cooed, "Okay. And oh.... I do love surprises." With that she was brushing some of her hair from her face then watching as people slowly started to arrive.
 
"I know you do" Isaiah watched as people arrived and for the time being he was doing ok and nothing was making him panic or have flashbacks. him not going to see a therapist was a point of tension between him and Camille but he had promised that if they were ever intimate and he had a flashback and hurt her he would go and see that one she wanted him to and that had taken the edge off of it
 
Camille did end up drifting away from Isaiah for a brief little bit so that she could talk to others, although was retreating back over to him for a brief little bit.
 
Camille looked at him for a moment then looked down to see that he had just given her the keys to the cars. With that she was sliding them into her back pocket so that she didn't mix them up with hers on accident.
 
Isaiah smiled when the twins walked into the building and let out small shrieks as they hadn't been expecting the party or for everyone to be there
