Aemira glanced around at all of them there the ones she had fought with on the battlefield. She cleared her throat before standing up once more and taking out a roll of paper. The tension in the air was thick enough she could feel it weighing on her shoulders. Memories of back then and public speaking began to crawl into her head. Gathering herself she soon began. "As you know, we have currently had a rather large victory with the Kingdom, and has increased this Kingdoms power in turn. Yes we all fought bravely, we all lost those we care about. That is the nature of war, however it brings me great disheartenment to say that it is not over. This is just the beginning, by marching into another lands. Other countries are going to feel threatened, some may even seek to take revenge on us for what we did. But they will be met with fire and ice as i will not turn my back on this country or her people. I will stay and fight, and push back, beat destroy any army that tries to claim this. The question i pose to you, will you let your country fall to those who would seek it harm... If so then i commend you. For you have greater strength than i to seek turn away from the battlefield.... But those who wish to stand and fight will never be alone. I have lost one home... and i plan to never let this one leave." She turned the papers over. "But war might not have to come, whilst i say that invaders will be met with retaliation. I would never beat away a hand that was calling for a union... Yet this decision does not lie with me. It lies with those who have a better head on their shoulders, and can see far more options than myself...Yet i want you all to know. There are few i have fought with and survived and be prouder to stand with a weapon in my hand with. Thank you for this contribution... and take this night for yourselves, and may the dawn sting your drunk faces upon the morning."
