Baltana

With some distance established she considered her options - she might be able to out last them by continuing to run, but they would be able to catch her and thereby take advantage of her retreating - attacking them in there current forms might be easier as they lacked the armour of the man-beast shape but they would likely shift back in short order. No she needed a to control the area of battle itself which left limited options.

Picking out a nearby tree which she felt she would be able to handle but which many with less experience - or with move cumbersome armour - would have difficulty with, she began to scale it carefully.

Climb (1d20+7): 22
Assuming a standard DC15 tree she moved at quarter speed for both move and standard action up it, so would be 15 feet into the tree itself.

No.... stop.... bad idea... don't go.... why does no one ever listen? And you two are getting too far ahead when this trap springs I might not be able to help.

People have to experience this to understand that just because you see or hear something does not make it real. His own patron is the Shadow the thing that is there and not that makes everything seem more and less sinister. Balenore is all too aware of things that go bump in the night and would have gladly let the girl keep crying out while he went on his way, but with so many going to the rescue it would be unwise to get separated from the group. Hopefully, they are equal to whatever this is. Noting the position of the group he eyes the paladin with a bit of suspicion but resigns himself to getting a tongue thrashing later if need be.

I've just hexed you too if you focus on something you do the hex should take effect it takes time for the magic to rebuild so give it a few seconds each time. That is why I keep laughing now you and Aylx need to stick close. In fact currently, he is out of range I am about to fix that. Oh and do stay put I heard wolf cries earlier and they tend to circle their prey.

The screams from the girl around the hill got louder and more desperate, then suddenly trailed off into laughter as a huge wolf-like creature the size of a pony surged around the bend. With yellow fangs and fur like dried blood, it surged up to Tiyeri and snapped at her calf!

The worg had gotten too excited. She slipped and scrambled in damp leaves and missed the mark completely.

10 to hit.
Tag Alyx.

She was correct she wouldn't be able to outrun them, and so right to control the battlefield - she reasoned, with her vantage point she felt that more could be done.

Removing her bow from her back she decided it would be her primary weapon for the immediate conflict - she didn't particularly want to fall back on throwing coins at them - she still held off on shooting at them while she focused on her innate abilities, she didn't like using them since she learned her origin, but was not traveling alone in the forest without being savvy enough to use every advantage, the abrupt rain storm might drench both wolves but its aim was to make the lower area on the tree move difficult to climb.

Move action: Draw Bow.
Standard Action: use 'Magic in the Blood' to use 'Create Water' to soak the lower tree and make it slippery with the hope of making it more difficult to climb.

With a worg close to him, Alyx immediately moves to engage and show him how to tear and rip into the enemy with tooth and claw...

Full attack, PA on all attacks.19, 22 on claw attacks, 18 on bite attack. 12 and 9 damage on claws, 10 damage on bite.

From behind them, another great black wolf with red eyes leaped over a bush and surged forwards, coming at Balenor from behind! He snapped at the witch's hip, sinking his fangs in deep and jerking back, trying to pull the witch down.

Attack Roll 27 (Charge)

Natural 1 to auto fail on the trip.

Tag Tiyeri

"Thank you, Sir Thrace..." Nolymae said with a small bow of her head, before leading her horse into the empty stall. She stroked Moonlight's mane and removed the small pack of belongings that her steed had carried. "Moonlight and I appreciate your kindness dearly."

Tiyeri gracefully and narrowly spun her leg away from the worg attacking her. Just as Alyx dropped it, she used her momentum from the dodge to turn and bound swiftly back next to Abigail, taking a swing at the paladin's attacker with her fist.

Randal Thrace, Seargent of the Night Watch

While Nolymae stabled her steed, the seargent of the watch quietly pulled off his gauntlets and tucked them into a pouch. Just as she had her steed unsaddled and closed into his stall, she heard the clack of the stable door closing. The stable was lit by only a single lantern deeper in.

Randal's powerful arms went around the petite priestes's tiny waist. He pulled her back firmly against his chest. "I know how you can show me your apreciation," he rumbled.

Narunir

Surprised by the sudden arrival of the third lycanthrope, Narunir hesitated for a moment but forced himself to stand instead of running away. Raising his free hand the half-elf gave a brief incantation in elvish and pointed at the ground beneath the third wolf-man, his magic causing a layer of grease to form around him! Hopefully, Narunir thought, that would distract the beast enough to give the others a chance to strike at it...

Casting Grease, coating the ten feet around the 3rd warg's feet with slippery grease. It lasts for 4 minutes and the warg must make a DC 16 Reflex save or fall.

Narunir found he could get both wolves in his grease. The two monsters--having used distance to get advantage on their prey--now found their prey could strike back before they could snap. They skidded a little in the grease but managed to plant their feet. The positioning of Narunir's allies would keep them in the area for a bit longer, though.

Aramina made a gesture with a wand and two wizzing blue bolts slammed into the second wolf. She scowled and moved back the way they'd come, 'til she was just behind Balenor. She traded teh wand for a dagger with a blade that gleamed radiant silver in the moonlight.

A third wolf suged out of the woods, forming ranks with the other two.

Wolf 2 takes 8 damage.
Tag Abagail, Balenor, and Alex in whatever order you can post.

Stepping slightly forwards to the centre of the three wolves threatening their little group, Abigail takes one hand off her greatsword. With a wary eye on the lupine attackers, she chants several words in the celestial tongue while crushing her free hand around a tiny vial from the hilt of her greatsword. A shimmering light envelops her form - difficult to ignore or look away from.

"Hah, come at me, fiends - ignore me at your own peril!" She shouts, taunting them in an unpractised attempt at intimidation.

So saying, she takes up her prepared stance once more, greatsword ready to swing and cleave.

Abigail cast the spell Compel Hostility in a defensive stance (DC 17, Rolls 20+3+4=27)
(Lasts 3 rounds - if any enemy she can see that threatens her tries to attack anyone but her, they have to pass a Will save DC15 or attack her instead.)
She then attempts to demoralise the centre wolf as a once-per-day swift action, rolling... a 13. Probably not that intimidating, or maybe they don't understand her. (DC=10+HD+Wis mod, shaken if succeeds)

Balnore, borrowing a trick from humans is cursing up a storm in Abyssal. At least one of these things was capable of human speech if they transform when killed... Well better to think about that later. Quickly he takes inventory of the situation

He notices Abigale casting (Spellcraft check of 28) and quickly understands she is making herself a target already being injured himself he decides to get out of there. Two are injured though not severely and they will heal soon. Better to let the Paladin take his medicine too. He retreats slightly to try and put some distance between him and these attackers. Then he catches the eye of the one who bit him, the beast's world tilts momentarily it is unsure how but it knows it is weaker now, the elf it bit laughs at the creatures new weakened state.

So smoothly it seemed all they were doing was standing yup, the two wolves rose into their hybrid forms. Their arms and armor reappeared.

Their muzzletrees showed smug smirks as they started up the tree.

One scrambled futilely, scratching the bark. The other sank in his claws and got a few feet up before slipping and falling on his rump

Comfortable in with her vantage point and how they seemed unable to climb the now slippery tree she lined up her shot to see if the rumours of the creatures resilience was well founded.

If they were as tough against most weapons as she understood she would likely have to change tactics.

Standard Action: Attack with Bow
Attack: (1d20+6)= 21
Damage: (1d8+3)= 6

Move action: If the attack does no obvious damage she will put away her bow.

Ty moves in to attack the wolf that is on its last legs. she takes her swing hoping to land a finishing blow on it. But her attack went wide and she missed the wolf.

Having evaded the cat girl's blow with ease, the big wolf decided she was a tasty and tempting target. He tried to snap at her, but found his will bent so that he spun to direct his assault on the far better armored Abigail.

It snapped smoothly, but wasn't initially sure if it has sunk it's teeth through her metal shell or not..

A werewolf laughed as the arrow struck him dead center on the chest and snapped on his unnaturally resilient hide. “Come down and play, sweetie,” he taunted, “I promise we'll be gentle.”

That werewolf drew a loaded crossbow from the case on his sheath and held it at the ready, but gave the girl a chance to respond to his offer of to surrender.

His friend dropped his backpack to the path and quickly dug out a fine silk rope with a grapple.

Baltana

She was annoyed as her arrow broke, but moved to a smirk as she responded to the wolfman "ha, you can't even climb a tree and you think you can handle me up close" with her bow put away she took out a silver coin and launched it at the wolf with the crossbow.

Move Action: Draw silver coin.
Standard Action: Attack with coin.
To Hit: 1d20-1(+4base, +1 dex, -2 range, -4improvised): 0
Damage*: 4

*Not sure what damage is appropriate so think base 1+Str.

The werewolf blinked as the argent coin flashed past him in the moonlight. “Really, girl?” he snickered. “Throwing spare change at me?”

He leveled his crossbow at her—going more for her hip than a more vital target, like center mass, and let it fly with a thunk!

The other werewolf twirled the rope a few times and launched the grapple up into the tree, hooking it around a branch and tugging it secure.

14 to hit.

Moving slightly to avoid the arrow, "well you seem to have the look of someone who might beg, or play dead so seems appropriate" she exchanged as she retrieved another and seeking to adjust her aim flung it at him again.

Move action: Retrieve Coin.
