She turned to Hidemune, grinning widely and nodding, she seemed to like the name. She pointed to Hidemune, still grinning her shark-toothed grin. “Onii.” She said firmly.
This was the first time Two had ever had an interaction with someone that wasn’t a complete blood bath, and it showed her progress. She actually seemed happy, and not full of rage like she usually was, content with just sitting in the dirt with her new friend.
“Education.” She repeated; and she did actually know that word, but she didn’t like it. Whenever she was “educated”, it was never in a gentle way, but of course, that was partly her fault.
She looked up at him, then down at the dirt, making an x in the top right corner; for him the bottom left corner. What was this game? What was the point? It was a bit exciting, but she wanted to know what this game meant.
She stared at the make-shift board before making an x in the spot on her lowest left, making three in a row. She didn’t know she had won though, looking up at Hidemune for his next move.
She nodded watching him set up the board before making an x in the bottom left corner; Hidemune’s top right corner. She was enjoying herself, actually sitting still and playing the game with Hidemune.
Hidemune smiled and put a circle under her x, which would be above for her. He was having a lot of fun playing tic-tac-toe with her; all he had done for a while was train.
They would play game after game, spending quite a bit of time together before it was time for actual training, and Minehime had a long way to go on hers.
Mitsunari continued to supervise while Hidemune trained Minehime. He had a bunch of dummies brought out and told her to try and control her rage rather than just let it all out at once.
Minehime seemed to struggle with restraint, it just was something that never came easily to her. Even when Hidemune told her so, she still tore the dummies to shreds.
