Revival (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime laid inside the private room tucked into a bed with an oxygen mask over her mouth, and an iv in her chest. She had been so dehydrated that they had a hard time finding any veins at all in her arms. The doctors had done their best to clean Megohime up, giving her a sponge bath twice and simply tying her hair back so it didn’t get in the way while they worked. She still looked so frail, covered in bruises and skin deathly pale, but worst of all was the piercings that remained in her flesh.

"Fuck me, Mego..." He muttered, "Jesus, let me get these ugly things out of you..." He said and grabbed some alcohol pads to clean the opening left by the piercings he removed. He slipped on some gloves and carefully removed each piercing, cleaning the empty sores gently as he went. His eye blurred with tears and he had to stop to angrily brush them away so he could see. "Come on, fuckface, keep it together." He scolded himself, "She wouldn't want you crying over her."

The small silver bars were everywhere: in her ears, her lips, eyebrows, nose, even her cheeks. She looked more like some extreme punk rocker rather than the woman he saw leave. Her heart monitor continued on a steady rhythm, showing no change as he removed them. His heart would only sink further when he saw a few had been pierced along her sternum, trailing down beneath the cotton gown she was in.

"God, please don't tell me this gets worse." Oh, his voice was shaking, struggling to keep it together. He was the mighty Azure Dragon, for God's sake. Why was this fucking him up so much? He knew exactly why; because he was an idiot and let her go alone. He couldn't stop apologizing as he pulled all the studs and bars out. Tears streaked his cheek, hands shaking harder and harder.

It didn’t get any better, in fact, upon untying the cotton gown at the sides, he could see Megohime had been pierced even placed he hadn’t imagined people could be pierced. Her nipple, belly button, hips, and even her pubic mount had been pierced- even a small flash of silver between her legs could be seen. Why did it have to be her to have gone through something so awful?

He broke down right there. He covered his face as his shoulders shook, swallowing his loud sobs as he just let the tears fall. He punched the wall until his knuckles were split and bleeding, until his wrist swelled from the force, then he just mangled his other hand. "Fuck!! Goddammit!! That son of a whore is gonna regret this!!"
"Masamune-sama?" The door nearly opened until flames licked through the crack, forcing Kojurou to shut it again.
"Don't come in here!!" Masamune hollered, "Don't you dare come in here!!"

Megohime didn’t flinch from Masamune’s fit of rage, he had scorched the door and the curtains had gone up in flames, but Megohime didn’t move at all; she never really had been afraid of him, but this was different, this time she couldn’t be afraid of him. She couldn’t even be awake unless she wanted organ damage.
“What would if I do if something happens to you and I could’ve done something to prevent it?”
“I’ll be careful.”

Megohime hadn’t asked for this, she had even hesitated when the idea of her going in was brought up, she was so scared she had been shaking the day she left, why did they have to push her to go? If she hadn’t gone she wouldn’t be in this state- they hadn’t even gotten Tenkai.

Masamune put out the curtains, not wanting to lose his estate in his rage.
"None of you fucksticks are allowed to see her! It's all your fucking fault she's even like this! I told you it was a bad idea but no one likes listening to the fucking boss, do they?!"
"Tenkai didn't know her or her association to u-"
"SHUT UP!! I'm tired of your excuses!!" Masamune shouted.

No one dared argue with Masamune, they wouldn’t stand a chance anyway even if they tried, they had stuck their necks out and Megohime was the one who ended up taking the worst of it.

They left Masamune to tend to her in peace, letting him grieve and swear and curse all of them into oblivion for her misfortune. He had every right to, really.

Akihime approached Motochika and Shingen hesitantly, "Ano..." She began weakly, "Did...Did you happen to find...to find Amaya?"
"Oh, Aki..." Motochika frowned heavily and Akihime's heart jumped into her throat.
"Wh-What...? What happened? Where is she, did you at least bring her home?!" Her panic moved to Shingen, who couldn't bear to look at her.

Motochika had been the one to find the woman Amaya, who he mistook for a dead body at first, but his robotic eye told him otherwise. She was alive, but just barely; she had complete organ failure and was missing both robotic legs. She was the first to be sent back to the Date estate, and the Date doctors wanted to simply help her pass on without pain, but complied when Shingen asked them to help save her.
The doctors were doing all they could for her, but it looked bleak for her.

"They don't think she's going to make it, Akihime." Shingen said, keeping his gaze from her. Her eyes widened in horror and she rushed off as best as she could to find Amaya but Motochika grabbed her firmly.
"Let me go!! Let me go, I need to see her!!"
"You need to let them work, Aki! Let them do what they can first!" He told her, wrestling her against his chest. She screamed and cried, beating against Motochika's chest before finally settling down and just sobbing against him.

The entire Date estate was restless that night, filled to capacity with three gangs resting inside it for the night. No music played in the lounge, but people continued to drink, some even still dressed in their raid gear. Jin was still awake working with Kojurou to find places for those who chose to come with them from the compound to live at, and currently only Takeda and Chosokabe were willing to take them in, Masamune refusing to answer any questions.

Masamune never left Megohime's side, taking all the piercings out as well as cleaning and dressing all the sores they left in their wake. He only let the doctors in, and ate whatever they brought him since they knew he was there for the long haul. Akihime tried not to fret herself or her son into an early grave, but she was so worried about Amaya; praying endlessly for her to pull through.

Megohime didn’t look peaceful, she didn’t look relaxed, even in the state of deep sleep she was in, she just looked tired. Sometimes tears would fall down her face, but none of her vitals ever changed, all holding stable.
Amaya was in surgery until four in the morning, but even then she wasn’t out of the woods yet. The doctors did all they could just to keep her from deaths door, but she hadn’t improved much. She was put in her own room, which was listed as ICU, currently only living from the life support she was on.

"Please let me see her. There could be damage to her hardware, I can fix it...! Let me run a diagnostic check!" Akihime pleaded, finally tired of waiting for any word on Amaya. "Let me fix my horrible mistake, I beg you."

The old doctor had been busy all night working on wounds, and now this girl wasn’t letting him finish up his job so he could go rest, it was making him angry. “Girl.” He said gruffly. “For the third and final time, no one but my doctors are going in to see that woman. She’s in critical condition, and I don’t need you going in there messing with things you don’t understand.” He said, refusing to move out of the way. “You’re starting to get in the way of me doing my job, if all you’re going to do is cause more problems, then leave.”

If Akihime wasn't angry before, she sure as shit was now. "Do you know anything about the cybernetics in her arm? Her legs? Her head? Do you know the algorithms and coding needed to make the electronics in her body work? Do you know fucking anything about what it takes to keep a cyborg functioning? No. You don't. You only know human and mortal issues and problems. And I am very, very grateful that you have been caring for the wounds done to her body, but if you do not let me see what her programming is doing that's slowing your progress - which I noticed you haven't really been making - she will die and I promise you that my pregnancy will not stop me from beating you into the ground and taking away your licence."

“Complete liver failure, ruptured spleen, necrotising intestines, broken ribs, sepsis; your friend in there has all of those.” He didn’t take his eyes off of Akihime as he spoke, a soft scowl on his face. “No I don’t know much about robotics, but at this moment, her robotic legs don’t concern me, her robotic arm doesn’t concern me, and the robotic implant in her head doesn’t concern me. What concerns me is that her body is dying, and that a little girl wants to go in there and start fussing over her dead toy attachments. She might not be able to open her eyes and speak to you, but you go right on ahead in there and start screwing with things you don’t understand.” He said and moved aside.

She didn't move; couldn't move. He was right, she didn't really have any right to go in there and impede their work because she was so guilt ridden. She shouldn't have flown over the handle like that. He knew what he was doing and he was right, she was getting in the way. This was why Amaya was always getting so mad at her, she never looked before she leaped. She bowed as best as she could, keeping her gaze down.
"I'm sorry...you're right, I don't understand. I won't bother you further. Please...please let me know if there's any change, sensei..."

The doctor grunted, the same sour look on his face. “She isn’t going anywhere, and I doubt her condition will change much for now, go get some rest otherwise you’ll end up as one of my patients.” He said gruffly.

She nodded, apologizing once again before she headed off. She needed to get her mind off of this. "Maybe...maybe Nana-dono would want to discuss future playdates with me...perhaps even discuss baby shopping..." She muttered, "That sounds nice..."

It was about six in the morning at this point, and Nasamune had been zoned out for a while after scorching the walls in Megohime’s room, the ringing back in his ears as he stared out the window, watching the sky become lighter as the sun started to rise.
Then reality hit him, the ringing that had just started in his ears wasn’t in his head at all, Megohime’s vital monitor starting to go off, her pulse racing and her bpm off the chart. The doctors were in the room in seconds, moving over to Megohime to start working on her.

“Masamune-sama, you need to leave, we’re doing all that we can.” A nurse said firmly but gently as she herded him out of the room, the rest of the medical team working on Megohime.
