As if Senji had some sort of radar, Yui went to the gym to ask him some questions. For once, she actually entered the gym completely, moving over toward Senji. “Senji.” Shit, she sounded pissed. “I take it you heard what happened to Moriko-chan?”
Senji looked a little nervous to be dealing with her like this, "Yeah, me and Shion were the ones who found her. Well, Shion found her, I helped get her to the infirmary."
Yui looked like she was about ready to level the gym, but did something unexpected. She bowed her head to Senji. “Thank you for helping her when I couldn’t.” Was this really happening? She was thanking Senji?
"Ah, oh...um, I don't really know who did it." He said, almost afraid to tell her such, "They were gone by the time I got there. Shion might know though...!" He hated throwing Shion under the bus like that but Yui scared the piss out of him.
Yui gave him a bit of a skeptical look, but nodded, and went off to find Shion, who simply told her the same thing, minus throwing Senji under the bus.
Yui was quite angry about her dead end, but she wouldn’t let it go that easily, even if it meant trying to bribe Tamaki himself for information.
Bribing the guards to relay a message to Tamaki was the easy part, actually getting him to see her was the hard part. She knew he was watching, he always was, so for now she needed to play it smart and not act irrationally.
Maybe asking Moriko would be a better idea? She was the main source and witness, after all. Perhaps when she woke up and was less upset she could tell Yui what happened.
Yui didn’t want to force Moriko to go through what happened again, she wanted to take care of the problem and let Moriko forget about it. Going back to Moriko’s room, she sat on the bed, scowling. Moriko didn’t have enemies, Yui made sure of that.
"They destroyed my notes..." No one really knew that Moriko liked to observe people, she was always so careful. She covered all her tracks and left not a single trace for anyone to follow her. She was meticulous and damn near paranoid about her secret little hobby.
After what seemed like ages of Yui sitting in Moriko’s room, the door slid open and a guard motioned with his head to follow. Yui did as she was told and followed the guard to an elevator, going through what seemed like an entire labyrinth before she reached an office. It was decorated like a children’s playroom, but it certainly was Tamaki’s office. Sitting down across from him, she cut right to the chase. “I’d like to make a deal, or rather, a trade of sorts.”
“I’m sure I can find something you’d enjoy, even if just a little.” She shifted in her chair, not even a trace of a smirk on her face. “I want names. I want the names of the people who put hands on Moriko-chan, and in return, I’ll give you a show.” Her eyes were deadly serious. “Carnival Corpse is always so simple. If I get these names, I’ll liven it up for you. I’ll even make a meal out of them. I’ll even let you cut me open and take whatever you want, I know how you love your penalty shows.”
Tamaki looked interested after that, "Oh, you don't say?" He asked, letting the ball dangle from the elastic before setting the toy down, "Well, I do have a lot of upset viewers from your previous match. I'll tell you what," He leaned forward and smirked, "If you make a grandiose show out of your next Carnival Corpse, not only will I give you the names...I'll let you kill them in the arena." He told her, "Sound good?"
A smirk actually appeared on Yui’s face. “I’ll pull the eyes from their heads and eat them for all I care, give me the names and I’ll fuck the stage with their corpse.”
Yui was livid that he knew the names right off the top of his head, but said nothing about it. “You have my word.” She stood, bowing to him, and then leaving with the escort of the guard back down to G-Block, wanting nothing more than to see Moriko again.
When she came back, Moriko was up, gingerly petting the bruises on her face. When the door opened, she looked up and smiled, her lip almost busting open again, "Yui..." She sounded so happy, so care free. Like everything would be ok with Yui there.
"Everything still hurts but I'm much better now with you here..." She said, "I missed you so much, Yui...I'm sorry about the match, I didn't want you getting hurt, I couldn't do that to you. I owe you so much.."
Yui gently wrapped her arms around Moriko, pulling her close against her chest and petting her hair. “I’m not mad.” She said quietly. “I can’t ever be mad at you, Riko-chan.” She kissed the top of her head, her body aching. More than anything, she missed holding Moriko, having her body against hers.
She laughed softly as she hugged Yui around the waist, "Oh, you could definitely be mad at me, I'm just lucky you point it at other people~" She teased gently, "For someone so scary, you're a total baby~"
Yui stuck out her lip and whined softly. “I am not!” She protested goodheartdly, then took Moriko’s chin between her fingers, leaning down to kiss her softly.
