Chris smiled and snuggled her even closer his long thick fingers tracing lightly across her lower back resting on the opposite side of her body as he softly kissed the corner of her mouth. "Just as I want you to have fun tomorrow night my love." he said barely whispered.

She smiled and leaned against him, snuggling into his side as she took a sip of her wine, the kiss to the corner of her mouth making her feel warm. "Mmm, good. It's settled then." The redhead could barely believe that in just two days they would be married.

Chris sipped more of the wine enjoying her company along with the light hint of her fragrance tonight, every part of him was dancing as he relaxed even more. Refilling his glass he offered her some more wine.

Claire accepted the offer for more wine. "Would you like to sit down?" She asked, motioning to the table or the sofa.

Chris smiled and refilled her glass setting the bottle down on the long wooden coffee table taking a seat on the couch offering his lap to her.

Chris smiled as his dark bright blue eyes met hers, long thick fingers of his right hand lightly traced up and down one side of her body as he spoke. "I had lots of fun, how about you."

Chris's dark bright blue eyes sparkled back into hers as he returned the kiss, setting the wine down his large strong hands eased her body closer as he deftly unzipped her dress and deepened the kiss. He had thoroughly enjoyed the whole day as he broke the kiss, breath hot on her neck as he spoke in a whispered tone. "Always enjoy time with you anywhere."

She smiled softly and kissed his lips, holding onto him as he pulled her closer. Claire put the glass down too and let him undo her dress, enjoying every last bit of it. "Mmm...me too."

Chris's dark bright blue eyes met hers softly as he held her close, long thick fingers massaging her lower back as he thought ahead to tomorrow and the wedding the day after. Smile widening as he spoke barely in a whispered tone. "Ready for bed my love."

She smiled and kissed him again, sweetly running her delicate fingers through his hair. "Of course, sweetheart." She smiled and let him hold her there, enjoying the massage.

Chris's dark bright blue eyes sparkled back into hers as he eased her up from his lap, long thick fingers intertwined with her slender ones as he guided them to their bedroom. Entering the dress was soon pooled at her feet as he unsnapped her bra and threw it over the chair near the window. His words whispered. "In to bed my love."

Claire's eyes sparkled with laughter as he took her hands and guided her to to their bedroom. She smiled, knowing that soon this place would be theirs in a different way. She let her dress fall off of her once they got inside, leaning against him as he removed her bra, and then pulling away as he threw it over the chair. She smiled and took off her panties on the way to the bed and then slid into the sheets with him. "Into bed," she said, getting comfy.

Chris's dark bright blue eyes sparkled and dazzled like freshly cut diamonds in the sunlight as she joined him in bed, pulling the covers up over them he slid one long muscular arm around her waist, long thick fingers spreading out wide across her lower back as he softly kissed her lips.

She smiled and kissed him back, snuggling closer to him, her arm going around his waist as well. She rubbed his back softly as she kissed him. "I love you, Chris," she whispered.

Chris smiled widely at her whispered words, his lips softly moving across her cheek breath hot as he spoke in a whispered tone. "Love you too Claire baby."

She smiled and kissed his cheek, closing her eyes slowly to give herself over to the feelings. The way he touched her, the way his breath felt on her skin. The way he felt pressed against her. "Mmm, so perfect."

Chris smiled softly at the kiss to his cheek having known for several months now that everything was indeed perfect, he had found everything in her that he had searched for as eyes closed slowly his words barely whispered. "Love you Claire so much, sleep well."

"Dream sweet, Chris." And with that, Claire was asleep in the arms of her absolutely perfect fiance--the one who loved her so much he just couldn't help but smile. The one who she'd moved across the country with. The one whose dog always liked to curl up at the foot off the bed at night. The one she loved more than anything.

Chris fell asleep only a few minutes after her, the light snoring from Rex at the end of the bed from the floor told him all he had needed to know as to where he was. A smile spread across his face as he slept, the dreams clear and vivid with so much color to them. Waking to the alarm the following morning he yawned and groaned softly throwing out his large strong left hand to turn it off.

Claire groaned and snuggled closer to her soon-to-be hubby and then went on sleeping, not really caring to wake up and do anything constructive until a bit later. She wondered, briefly, if the alarm ever bothered Rex, and then started to fall back into a persistent light sleep.

Chris vaguely felt her body snuggle closer to his, drifting in and out of light sleep for the next hour or so. Waking reluctantly and looking at the clock he sighed and slipped from the bed to take a shower and get dressed. He should have been at work, not a good example to set to those under his control.

Claire woke up a bit later with Chris and let him take a shower as she combed her hair as she waited and set out some clothes for herself before she made the bed and got Rex some food. She called in to the office and told them she'd be in soon and had had a fuse blow in the middle of the night. The receptionist seemed to be happy she had a job at all and gladly passed the message on. Claire would need to do a few things once she got there, but hopefully, after this week, she wouldn't need to be there more than three times a week to check on things.

Chris knew that he would need to be there several days a week to help the newer staff settle in to their positions as he made a light breakfast for them both sipping his coffee. Whistling softly he let Rex out into the backyard leaving him with several large bones before closing the back door and making sure it was properly bolted just in case.
