The food was good, and the company was delightful. Already she was enjoying their little date, glad that they could do things like this together again. It was nice to have him around her when he wasn't busy working on things, when he was relaxed. When she finished her meal, she watched him, smiling. To think: he was all hers now. Not that he hadn't been before, but now, it was official. He was her fiance, and now she really did have the right to hurt other people that came after him. He was hers now. To love and protect and take care of for the rest of her life. And she could definitely do that.

Chris felt her soft gaze on him as he soon finished up his meal, oh yes the meal and company had both been exquisite and what the doctor would have ordered for him. Taking it easy like this was the way life should be as he placed enough money to pay for the meal along with a tip on the table before slowly standing. Offering her his arm he spoke softly. "Ready to go my love."

She smiled and followed after him, putting her arm through his. "I'm ready if you are. Do you want to drive this time around?" she asked, pulling the keys from her purse.

Chris smiled at her words his fingers taking the keys from hers, long thick fingers lingering with her soft small ones as he placed a kiss on the corner of her mouth. His dark bright blue eyes sparkling as they walked from the hotel to the car unlocking and opening the passenger side door for her.

"Thank you, Chris." She smiled and held his hand as he kissed her mouth, only letting go as he unlocked the door for her. Once she was safely buckled in, she looked over at him. "So, where are we going now, hun?"

Chris smiled and walked quickly around to the driver's side, buckling up he started the engine and light rested long thick fingers of his large left hand on her upper leg giving it a gentle squeeze as he spoke softly. "To a small cinema then a walk later closer to our house."

She smiled and kissed his cheek, letting him rest his hand there. "Mmm, sounds great."

Chris's face lit up with a wider smile at the combination of the soft kiss to his cheek and her words, driving towards the small cinema his long thick fingers massaged her leg knowing that later he would be doing lots more to the soft skin.

Claire smiled and took his hand in hers. She lifted it to her lips and then set it back down. After a little while longer, they'd driven to the cinema, ready for a movie.

Chris smiled a little wider as they arrived at the small cinema complex, locking his side he was soon offering her his arm with sparkling dark bright blue eyes meeting hers.

(So sorry for the huge delay. I honestly couldn't think of anything to say, and then final week came and I sort of forgot. Sorry)

Claire smiled and slid out of the car, locking the door before she got out and took his arm, her purse on her shoulder as she kissed his cheek. "I haven't been to the movies in such a long time," she said with a smile.

Chris smiled as she took his arm returning a soft short kiss to her cheek and the corner of her mouth before escorting her into the small complex. Waiting briefly for the tickets they were soon seated as he spoke softly. "My love I can't wait for our wedding."

Chris snuggled his love closer during the movie, his eyes alternating between the large screen and her beauty before standing slowly as the credits showed. His large muscular right arm slid easily around the small of her back as they walked from the complex, opening the door he spoke softly. "Home my love"

Claire happily walked with him and got back into the car with him, holding his hand once he was buckled in too. Once they got home, she smiled and got out of the car with him, having had a great day. "I love it here," she said, waiting for him.

On the way home Chris kept going over the wedding plans making sure he had it all done, work was good for him too as he whistled softly after getting out of the car. Locking the car his dark bright blue eyes met hers as he kissed her passionately scooping her up into his large strong arms carrying her up to the front door, keys dropped onto her upper chest as he spoke in a whispered tone. "I love you the most my love and do not forget it. Thank you again for this move."

She smiled and then blushed as he kissed her so passionately, so suddenly. She kissed him back and put her arms around his shoulders. She made a little noise as he scooped her up and laughed as he carried her, the cool keys on her chest making her shiver. "I love you too, Chris. So much. And this move, as much as it was for you, was for me too. So I could stay with the man I love."

Chris knew it as his heart beat a little faster alternating with the slightest hint of stopping the flow of blood to other parts of his body. Setting her down near the door he unlocked the door and softly kissed her cheek as he spoke in a whispered tone. "Care for some wine before bed and two days time is all we need to wait to make it official."

She smiled and nodded. "Are you ready for the rehearsal?" she asked, following him in. "Wine sounds fantastic."

Chris's dark bright blue eyes sparkled as they met hers, nodding as he walked casually and slowly to the kitchen. Popping open a bottle of wine he poured two glasses carrying them back to the lounge as he spoke. "Yes I am ready, tomorrow is it not."

She smiled and walked with him. "Yup. Tomorrow at five. Everyone should be here for it," she said with a smile. "I don't know if I ever asked you, but are you going to have a bachelor's party?" she asked, smiling.

Chris smiled and listened intently to her words, lightly running tow long thick fingers of his large right hand down the curvature of her back as he spoke. "Claire my love I had not even thought about one. You going to have an all ladies party?"

She shivered as his fingers ran down the curve of her spine. She smiled and kissed his lips softly. "Mmm, that was the plan. But you really should have a little party, hun. You don't need a stripper or anything, but go out with some friends and have fun." She smiled and kissed him again. I don't want anything but positive feelings in your head for our wedding."

Chris felt the shivers beneath his fingertips as they traced even lower down her spine, his dark bright blue eyes meeting hers briefly as he softly kissed her cheek. His words barely a whisper "Claire baby I will enjoy my night, I am sure my work mates have something planned without my knowledge". Taking a few sips of the wine enjoying her company.

Clair smiled and happily leaned against him as she sipped at her wine. "Good. And if they didn't go out anyway. I want you to have a good time." She really meant it too. Chris deserved to have fun, even without her. She knew that he liked it here, that work was now more of a normal thing for him, but she knew he worked hard for the both of them too.
