"Yeah, that does sound like them," Steven said with a smile. He saw Rai go over to give Mason a bath in the bathroom. "Would you want me to make you something to eat?" Steven asked Rai through the door.

Diego kept hugging Pearl when she sighed, wanting her to feel comforted and secure. "I understand. I love you too and I don't want you to shut me from your life. I wouldn't know what I'd do if something happened to you too," he told he before going to kiss her forehead pearl.
 
"Steven I already ate." Rai said through the door. "You can get an outfit and diaper out of Mason's suitcase for when I'm done."splashes could be heard from the bathroom. "Mason, you're getting a bath." Rai yelled over Mason having a tantrum.

"I'm not shutting you out, I'm just sectioning off the dangerous parts." Pearl explained. "Im a lot tougher than humans, as long as my gem isn't shattered I'll be fine. I may take a few days to recover and reform but I'll be fine."
 
"You need any help with Mason?" Steven asked Rai as he was going to get an outfit for Mason along with a fresh diaper. It didn't take long and he was outside of the bathroom waiting for the stuff that Rai requeste for. "We can help out if ya want," Amethyst added.

"I know, but that still doesn't mean I won't be worried about you. You mean so much to me," Diego said as he held Peartl tighter before kissing her nose. "Rai knows the responsability and she seems to be holding herself well like the girl named Connie you told me," he elaborated.
 
"I'm fine." Rai yelled. "Mason just doesn't want a bath, it's nothing new. He does this all the time. If he had his way he'd never take a bath." There was a brief pause, "Mason, do you want me to call your mom?" Mason immediately stopped screaming.

"After seeing Raiden in battle, I'm pretty sure she is insane." Pearl explained holding Diego. "All it took was Steven getting hurt once and she went into a blind rage, literally. When it was over, she didn't remember any of it and said she blacked out."
 
Steven couldn't help but quietly chuckle at how Mason just shut up at the threat of his mother being called, despite being only quite the youngin. "Was just trying to help," Steven responded to her as he was faithfully waiting outside for Rai to finish bathing Mason.

"Well, for some people, seeing the people they care about getting hurt, they just go and lose their temper," Diego said as he enjoyed the sweet embrace between them. "I would probably go nuts if someone hurt you," he said, squeezing her a bit tightly.
 
After a few minutes of no speaking but the sound of water splashing before the water began draining. Rai emerged with Mason wrapped in a towel. Rai carried him up to Steven's room area and put him on changing pad. She quickly put his diaper on and got dressed. "There we go, Mason, you're all clean now!" Rai stood him up and started drying his hair with the towel.

"I know but normally people don't black out." Pearl said. "I haven't seen someone go crazy like that since the Vikings. Rai gave their berserkers a run for their money and the berserkers kept going after being stabbed."
 
Steven followed Rai and gave her everything as he saw her diaper up, dress up and dry Mason. "You okay?" Steven asked her, wondering if Rai was tense and if there was something he could do to help her.

"Some do; they enter that primal state of rage. But it's caue Rai cares alot about Steven," Diego elaborates on. "Me, I know about my temper, epsecially when it comes to people I care about," he says as he kissed PEarl on the forehead.
 
"Yeah, I'm just dreading having to face Lars and not kick him in the dick so hard he'll pee blood for a week." Rai stated as she started to brush Mason's hair. "Dennis and Alice are the siblings I'm closest to and Lars kind of came between Alice and I. I never approved of her dating him and she was angry because of it. I did give him a chance though."

"I doubt you could do the same as Raiden. She was honestly scaring me." Pearl explained. "Especially when she yelled that she'd destroy them all and everything they love. I have never felt bad for homeworld except then."
 
Steven went over to embrace Rai so she can feel comforted. "Let's just do it when he's not around. I could get Peedee to get Ronaldo to distract him and out of the apartment," Steven suggested to Rai in order to make the moving out easier. He kept holding her.

"Oh wow," Diego said, surprised at the anger that Rai had. "Well... you never seen me mad before..." he couldn't help but chuckle a bit at that. "But it's gonna be okay," he added with a smile.
 
"Alice texted that idea." Rai said pulling her phone out. "Mason wanna FaceTime your mom and dad?" Mason turned and held up his arms to Rai. She grabbed him and put him on her lap before calling Dennis.

Dennis answered with Sadie next to him. "Hey, Rai." He said. "Hi Mason."

"Dada." Mason said reaching toward the phone.

"Mason! Are you being good for your aunt?" Sadie asked.

"Mama!" Mason shouted.

"He is being very good." Rai said. "But y'all may need to keep an eye on him coz he's already trying to be a ladies' man." She chuckled while joking. "He was trying to flirt with Garnet earlier."


Pearl laughed and asked, "Are you worse than Raiden?"
 
Steven sat down next to Rait as he waved at Dennis and Sadie. "How are the both of you doing? Eveyrthing okay? Having fun?" he asked them both with a smile as he ruffled Mason's hair affectionately.

"I've had a few angry moments, but I never really gone to the deep end before. I do know myself enough about how I can be mad though," Diego confessed to her. He knows what would happen if something to Pearl. He'd go completely nits, but whether he'd become tranquil whit-hot rage or an unstoppable inferno he doesn't know.
 
"Dennis ate snails." Sadie said.

"Did you?" Rai asked.

"She wouldn't even let me kiss her." Dennis said before he kissed Sadie.

"Dennis!" Sadie blushed.

"What? I can't kiss my wife?" Dennis asked kissing her again.

"What are you guys gonna do today?" Rai asked.

"We're planning on going to the Eiffel Tower and put a padlock with our names on it in that fence." Sadie explained. "What are you guys doing?"

"The Gems are gonna watch Mason while Steven and I help Alice move her stuff out of Lars' place and then when we're done we're bringing Mason to the beach." Rai explained.

"What happened now?" Dennis looked a bit annoyed.

"She's done with him for good now." Rai took a deep breath. "I'm not gonna go into details but it's pretty bad."

"I can't imagine you being angry." Pearl said kissing him.
 
"How were the snails?" Steven asked Dennis in curiosity, smiling at the itneraction between the newlyweds. "Yeah... Lars jsut reached critical jerkness as Mabel would put it," Steven added, quoting it as his friend from the West would say it.

"Yeah, I used to be a hot-headed kid," Diego chuckled before kissing Pearl back. "But I'm gonna be with you for a very long time," he added with a smile as he nuzzled his nose with hers, feeling very happy in being with her.
 
"Tasted like chicken, felt like a giant boogie." Dennis chuckled. "Are we sure it's for good?"

"Yeah and we're gonna set her up on a date with Sour Cream." Rai said.

"Good." Dennis nodded. "Listen we gotta go. Have fun, be safe, and I love you."

"Bye Mason." Sadie said waving to her son. Mason waved back kissed the phone.

Pearl smiled and hugged him before noticing the time. "I should be heading back to the beach house."
 
"Bye guys!" Steven waved to them with a smile. "Looks like they are having fun," Steven told Rai with a smile and he wndered how it would be like to be honeymooning or something like that. "So we should prbably be getting ready to get going," he aded.

"All right, see you later, sweetie. Love you," Diego told her with a smile as he gave her a goodbye kiss.
 
"I just have to get dressed." Rai put her phone down before grabbing some clean clothes and going to the bathroom. She came it a few minutes later with jean shorts, purple converse, and a purple t-shirt.

Pearl kissed him back, saying, "I'll bring some lunch to the shop later."
 
Steven meanwhie went over to change from his pajamas into his usual attire with his star shirt and his jeans and sneakers. While he stil wears sandals, he wears sneakers when moving things. They were also gifts from the Pine Twins.

"It's not alot of stuff and she already began, right?" Steven noted to her while he waited for her near the door.

Diego smiled as he saw Pearl ready to leave, giving her a second kiss as she was heading out.
 
Rai picked Mason up and put him on her hip. "No, Alice is coming with our dad's car and boxes but you're probably right there shouldn't be that much. Once we get everything packed, we're done." She kissed Steven. "Thank you for doing this, all of this."

Pearl kissed Diego and hugged him before she head back to the beach house.
 
"Yeah, it should only be a bit. Is her old room already reayd or where is she moving?" Steven asked Rai while he ruffled Mason's head affectionately before he kissed Rai on the cheek. "We're all here for you," Steven told her wth a smile befre he saw the text. "Diego says Pearl is on her way,"he said.
 
"Well Lars still lives with his parents and Alice shared his room." Rai explained. "She's moving back home, which I'm not too excited about. We live in a four bedroom house, and we have a guest room, my dad's room, the boys' which Andrei and Darien share and Dennis when he still lived at home, and the girls' room which will now go back to being shared by Alice, Adrien, Eridan, and me." She sighed. "Now I'm gonna have to go back to the top bunk."
 
"Yeah though maybe Alice will go with Sour Cream if the plan goes well," Steven added as he heard how Rai was explaining the living situation between them all. He goes and hugs Rai to help her deal with the stress. He was thinking more on how he and Rai were moving. He and Dad were talking about desgining the house a bit to better accompany it when Steven would get it when he's a full adult.

"Pearl should be here soon. But I'm sure it will be all right," he comforted her.
 
"Yes but she's not gonna move out when they start dating." Rai sighed. "I wish I could just live with you, but my dad would never allow it. He's only let me move out when I turn 18, and I won't even be 16 until February."

"You're 15?" Pearl asked as she entered the house.

"Yeah, why?" Rai asked.

"I just assumed you were the same age as Steven." Pearl answered.

"Nope, I'm like a year and," Rai counted on her fingers, "five months younger than him."
 
"Well, you are still his responsability until 18," Steven explained before embracing Rai to comfort her over her frustrations at not being able to mvoe out. "Have you and your family ever thought of expanding your house?" Steven suggested.

"That or I know that some have like little house besides the big house," Amethyst added
 
"My dad doesn't see the point when we're all going to be gone in a few years." Rai said as she put Mason down. "Besides we do have like four bathrooms." She grabbed some of Mason's toys and put them on the coffee table for him. "We should probably start heading over to Lars' place." Pearl looked confused. "Alice broke up with him and we're helping her move out."

"Oh, well, good luck with that." Pearl said going to the kitchen area to clean.

"Thanks." Rai turned to Steven. "Ready?"
 
"Yeah, but onc everyone has their own kids, they'l need the rooms for their grandkids," Steven suggested for her to say to her parents. She helped out with getting Mason's items before Garnet gave the two the thumbs up.

"Yeah I'm ready," Steven told her with a smile. "We're ready to take care of Mason," Amthyst explained.
