"I think something will happen that will make him realize it," Steven said as he shrugged his shoulders. "I noticed that Ronaldo has been arguing with him more," he added as he was thinking. "Even Ronaldo has matured," he noted.

"Nah, just getting some snacks for my dad's last bit of fishing. He says he's gonna take it easy for a bit while also trying to prepare Onion to get into it," Sour Cream said as he shrugged his shoulders. "Alice having trouble with Lars? Sorry to hear," he said. "Why does she go back to him?"

Diego just smiled before he kissed her back and went back inside of her, all while he held his svelte beloved in his arms. "You're amazing," he told her with his smile and blush.
 
"Weird, Rai calls it invested interest." Alice said. "I tell myself that and then he does something nice for me and I go back."

"I don't know." Rai sighed. "I'm pretty sure she's done with him now. I mean it's gonna be super hard for him to come back from straight up telling her he'd completely abandon her if she were pregnant."

"I know." Pearl said with a confident smirk. She balanced herself on her knees and began riding Diego.
 
"No, what I mean is that, hmm" Steven began befor ehe paused. He was taking a moment to remmeber how Diego began to try and explain it. "Basically, the sunk-cost fallacy is that someone would keep doing something or stay in something because they already put so much time and resources, even if the commitment doesn't make sense," Steven explained to Alice. "Trying to stay in a relationship like to justify what you already put in it is not fair for you. You deserve better," Steven explained to her.

"Yeesh, what a jerk," Sour Cream said with disgust at Lars. "She deserves better than that," he exclaimed. He and his friends never liked Laras that much, nly tolerating him for Steven's sake. He'd be a halfway decent guy if he wasn't such a poser or wannabe.

Diego began to kiss Pearl more passionately while he was going a bit faster and harder in the pace, while he was holding her tight.
 
"It doesn't matter, I'm not going back this time." Alice said with a sigh. "Not after what he did."

"You'll find someone bette," Steven told Alice comfortingly as he patted her on the back with his free hand. "You sure you don't want me to make you anything? It could help," he offered to her.

"Well, why don't you help her with that?" Sour Cream told her as he paid for the various snacks his dad would be taking on his trip in the large cart he had. "I'm sure you could help find someone cool for your sister," he told her with a smile.

"I do try my best, especially for you," Diego told her with a whisper as he kept going deep inside of Pearl. He kissed her once more, savoring her blue blush and the close intimacy between them.
 
"Thanks, and I'm fine." Alice said. "Don't tell Rai this but she's lucky to have you. You make her so happy and she's loves you so much."

"I'm planning on it." Rai stated. "Thanks. Have a good night and good luck fishing." She waved to him.

"I'm glad I can make her happy. She makes me happy too and I love her too," Steven tells Alice with a smile while he rocks Mason, who was falling asleep once more in his other arm. "Just for now, relax here and know we've got your back," he told Alice.

"Thanks. You have a good night too. Send your sister my support," Sour Cream tells her while he waved back before leaving for home.

Diego blushed brightly as he held her tightly too. "T-that's the first time you told me," Diego told her with his eyes wide as he looked at her. To him, it was the first time she ever said that... well, in a non-familial sense anyway. He hugged her tight.

"I love you too, Pearl," he said with a soft tearful smile full of gratitude and joy.
 
"If you wanna talk about anything my grandparents said, I'm all ears." Alice said leaning back on the couch. "I know dealing with my mom's parents probably bummed you out."

Rai waved before she paid for the candy and pregnancy test.

"That's the first time I told anyone other than Steven that." Pearl said. "Don't get me wrong I love Garnet and Amethyst as sisters but I don't actually tell them that."
 
"I already talked about it with Rai. She told me not to worry about it," Steven told Alice with a smile as he leaned back softly on the couch while holding Mason. "It sounds like none of you really like them though," he noted as he turned to her.

Diego smiled at her before he softly kissed Pearl. "it still means alot. I guess apart of me was still worried that I would never be able to be as good as Rose," Diego quietly confessed to her while he still had her in his embrace.
 
"Hell, some of they're own kids don't like them." Alice sad with a sigh. "After what they did to my dad, a lot of their kids got super pissed at them."

"You're different than her. It'd be like comparing apples and oranges." Pearl explained. "She'll always have a special place in my heart but that doesn't mean there isn't room for you."
 
"Oh man, that's nuts," Steven said in surprise at it all. "So pretyt much no one wants to do with them anymore?" Steven asked Alice while leaning back and holding Mason. "Your dad shouldn't have to put up with them," he said. "And none of you were able to tlak sense into them?" he asked them.

"And my heart belongs to you, my Pearl," Diego told her with a smile as he hugged her tightly, savoring his warm body pressing on her cool one before leaning in to kiss her eck. "Would you like me to go faster?" Diego asked her with a more seductive tone.
 
"There's still a few but for the most part yeah." Alice remarked. "I think the quints are just too afraid to because they're afraid our grandparents will go from blaming our dad for our mom dying to blaming them since she died having them. Dennis has tried, and I don't even bother."

"You know it." Pearl said with a smirk as she herself moved her hips in sync with Diego's making the experience more pleasurable.

"In the mean time, I'll tuck Mason in." Alice said gently taking Mason from Steven and putting him in his pack and play before taking his bottle and giving him his pacifier.

Diego held Pearl tighter before kissing her Pearly forehead. "I lvoe you so much, Pearl," he said with a big smile as he felt their sweaty bodies be connected. "I'm so happy I moved here and met you," Diego said as he rested his forehead on hers, looking at her lovingly.
 
"I wish Alice would have started dating him instead of Lars." Rai said with a sigh. "Maybe she wouldn't be in this mess."

"I love you too." Pearl said smiling. She closed her eyes and just enjoyed being with him. "I'm glad you moved here too."
 
"That's it! Maybe we should set up a date with them," Steven whisperly tells her so Alice does not hear. He figures it could work and that Sour Cream was single and looking, something he confined in Steven drunkingly at his last birthday party.

Diego snuggles up to Pearl some more, holding her tighter in his arms before he begins stroking her hair lovingly while resting. "Should we go and shower or do you just wanna rest here?" he asks her with a smile.
 
"That would be great!" Rai said also trying to be quiet. "We can make it a double date." She had always thought Sour Cream would be a better fit for her sister than Lars.

"Did I wear you out?" Pearl asked teasingly with a smirk. "Was I too much for you?"
 
"Definitely! It would be a good way to help both! How about we do it next weekend?" Steven asked her whisperly while looking excited at the potential prospect of being able to help Aliice out.

"I'm giving you a chance to require. I never saw you look so lost in pleasure," Diego responded with his own teasing smirk before he kissed her neck. "Does my naughty little Pearl want me to go wild on her?" he said as he caressed her face lovingly yet looking at her hungrily.
